A lot of groups go there and don't respect solo travelers by making a lot of noise and taking a lot of space. Only 1 toilet is accessible, the other one is not accessible during the night, so you wait for a long time in early morning when you are many people in the room For the price, it's really not so good: it was really noisy because of the restaurant beside my room, no facilities for travelers (no kitchen), no curtain for the beds, door is locked early in the morning when you need to go ou...

Nice place, the food in the café can be improved a lot more. The bathroom floor needs to be cleaned better and there needs to be a proper line to hang your towels to dry. Otherwise it’s a nice place

Great hostel in Shillong - located centrally to the region, and a short taxi ride to Police Bazaar (city centre). The rooms have massive lockers you can store your stuff in, heated showers, a big communal area with table tennis and a PS5. Nightly bonfire which was fun to sit with people and share a couple of drinks, and the daily activities organised by the social coordinator (Rohan for me) were great. Had two great day trips to Myor Living Root Bridge and to Nongjrong!

Lovely comfortable place. It’s also great for meeting other travelers to go on adventures with! The staff is excellent and will go out of their way to ensure all your needs are met. They can even help you with your travel plans. Also, the food at restaurant is excellent and is offered at a good price, so there’s no need to go anywhere else to eat!

Amazing trips around meghalaya organised daily One of the best crowds I've met at any hostel, all super cool, social + lovely Cons:Location not super convenient, but easy enough with rapido/scooty - One of the trip divers acted inappropriately towards me, n this wasn't dealt with professionally by the trip leader. This put a big dapper on what would've otherwise been a perfect trip

Very clean and comfy hostel, the mattresses are so smooth and the hostel spotless! The guy at the reception, Santosh, was super kind and very helpful…really recommend!

Definitely a must place to stay when with friends group. You will not find ceileng fans. There is only one wall fam the dorms of four and No AC. But you wont be needing one.

Comfortable beds, good food in the adjacent cafe and easy to meet people around the nightly firepit. Santosh at the front desk was hugely helpful (thank you).

Zostel Shillong is nice place to stay . The dorms are clean, the staff is also helpful , and the location is perfect for exploring the city. The common areas are chill, perfect for hanging out and meeting people, while the peaceful surroundings let you unwind. The food is decent, though the service could be a tad quicker. Overall, it’s a solid place that’s easy on the wallet and big on good vibes. definitely worth it!

I like the place as it is far far from the madding crowd. I will definitely come here next time.

Had an amazing stay here.. I planned to stay a few nights, but ended up staying over a week. Such a great common area and vibe, met awesome people, and Santosh and the whole staff are wonderful. Definitely will stay again.
