Chernchan Hostel

Overall a really neat hostel in a much quieter part of town. Staff helped me book a scooter to explore Laem Sing (would recommend v strongly) but were not able to help me when it came to my onward connection to Cambodia - in the end I had to go to the bus station on the morning I checked out and hope for the best, thankfully it worked out fine. Definitely quiet but the town is not a tourist stop-off, so no surprise there.

Great experience at Chernchan Hostel! We are two girls in our early twenties traveling to Chathanburi for the weekend and had a great experience at Chernchan. Everything was very clean, the staff were very kind, and we felt very safe. There was a cafe and food in the hostel but also other options close by, highly recommend!

It's very clean, amazing aesthetic, good location. The dorms aren't secure at all, the door doesn't lock, so anyone could come in at any time. They probably don't, but still. I loved the blackout curtains and comfortable pillow, best sleep in a long time. In low season (June when I stayed) the place is dead, 1 other person in the whole building, so don't expect anything social to happen. Not sure what high season is like.

The hostel ia clean and in a good place. However, they put on the description "free breakfast" and it is not true. they put cacan you pay by credit card, and it is not true.

I was just one night there, because I wanted to go to Cambodia- Thailand border. Unfortunately, there is really nothing to do in Chantburi. If you stranded here, then take this hostel. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful hostel with amazing staff. Great location for exploring Chanthaburi.

More like a hotel than a hostel. Really nice rooms and facilities. Very comfortable beds, highly recommend this place. Not much of an atmosphere but not many tourists come to Chanthaburi so it's not the hostels fault. I enjoyed my stay
