Taste of Bali Hostel

The dorm was very basic and the lockers to secure your stuff were broken. The shared bathrooms were very dirty. There was also mould on my mattress when i lifted up the sheet. I only stayed one night out of 4 that i paid for. If you do decide to book this hostel i suggest viewing the room before paying as i didn’t get my money back when i told that staff my issues. La verdad que el personal amable, pero una vez llegue a la habitación el olor a humedad era insoportable y la del baño a alcantarilla y el grifo roto. Total que no puede pasar ni una noche por el olor.

. Bed wasn’t clean, bathroom dirty and walls dirty too. Had at least 12 millipedes in my room, other bugs too. I asked to swap room, the same in the next room. Even the receptionist squealed at the amount of bugs when I showed her. When I asked for a refund due to the state of the property - I was denied because it was ‘non refundable’ yet the conditions were abysmal. All around bad experience unfortunately.

DONT GO HERE!! We find bedbugs in 3 of our beds. We call the stuff that had 24/7 reception but we got a text the morning after that he fallen asleep. The staff was not helpfull at all, and where unpleasant.

The staff didn’t really communicate and we were not offered breakfast for our entire stay. The rooms were dirty and one of the rooms didn’t have a door in the bathroom. Was supposed to get towels but were missing one. The only good thing was that the door locked and the bed was comfy.

Arrived at 11pm - was able to check in which was nice, however there was no power in my room and I was given a head torch as a replacement… when I got into my room the bathroom was wet like someone had just used the shower, when i arrived at 11pm? Staff very friendly and the room is overall okay, probably fairly priced

They had bedbugs!! I only noticed on my second night after I had loads of bites all over me. Checked the bed and I could see the bedbugs on my sheets. Staff offered me to move me the bunk above but that also had bed bugs and ants all over it 🤢. No offer of a refund and I doubt they actually tried to decontamination the room after they saw the bugs. A stray dog has also learned how to open the dorm doors and let itself into the lower bunks. It would scratch and sleep in the beds that people we...

They charge an extra tax & service fee on top of the total amount from Hostelworld which already includes tax. Not much going on in the Hostel. Good showers, bad wifi, bad ac in the first dorm next to the showers. Dirty walls from dead mosquitoes.

i had a private room, it was nice but the bathroom was very small and unpractical, not soo clean and it smells very disgusting, it was very loud in this house, they didn’t clean the room once in 4 nights, i had to ask for toiletpaper and take the rubish from the room, and the staff speaks very bad english, also the kitchen is very dirty!

Super hostel de passage, pas très bien situé

Wir waren zwei Nächte dort. Das Zimmer an sich war sehr schön und einladend, das Bad hingegen war dreckig und der Geruch war sehr unangenehm. Frühstück war okay und die Leute sehr nett und aufmerksam.

Girls on the front desk were lovely, location is fine if you don’t mind being further from beaches, rooms are great good showers- hot water dosnt last very long. WiFi is very weak. However do not hire bikes here, the owner willingly gives out death traps which engine cut while driving and the horns don’t work, this incredibly ignorant rude man denied all of this and blamed our driving. Betten waren gut und die Räume groß. Man hat viel Platz für sein Gepäck!! Die Toiletten und duschen aber sind sehr dreckig und nicht wirklich einladend. Wir hatten einen Stromausfall welcher über Nacht nicht behoben werden konnte und haben somit über 20 Stunden ohne Elektrizität auskommen müssen, inklusive ohne AC…

El alojamiento muy lindo, tranquilo y limpio. La atención excelente. La ubicación no es mala si tenes como moverte (por ej. scooter). Definitivamente volveria

Very nice hostel! it’s far from the center but Gojeks are cheap and there’s still a few good food options in the area! Would not recommend if you’re a solo traveler looking to meet people, it’s very quiet!

Great hosts, helped with recommendations around the local area. Very clean place too! Visited in Jan so was a bit quiet, but everybody there was friendly.

I did not really enjoy this hostel. I had a private room and it felt not the cleanest. The floors were ick as well as the walls. I have low standards but this was even a bit much for me. I slept on my towel and only stayed one night

I loved the stay here the people are so friendly it’s very quiet all round and amazing experience

BEWARE! The receptionist tried to make me and a friend (2 separate occasions) pay the full amount instead of the remaining amount after paying a small part via Hostelworld. We saw a comment about this and it still happened to us both. They say it ‘taxes’ but that’s already included.

El personal no hablaba bien inglés, muchas veces no entendían. La habitación privada muy bien, cómoda. El baño no era cómodo, el desayuno demasiado flojo y la ubicación no era cómoda (moto para todo). Hubo grupos de amigos que estaban a los gritos y con música fuerte hasta tarde y nadie les decía nada.

I was really surprised by this place. A lot of the reviews said it wasn’t a social hostel, but it was great for me and I made such amazing friends here. The price of this place is great, and it is about a 25 minute bike ride to most places, but apart from that, it’s a good starting/center point for a few days in Uluwatu. The private room was great and very cheap with a really great free breakfast from the lovely staff every morning. Thanks again guys
