Apapacho Hostel

This was a disappointing experience. While the location and staff were friendly there was no locker in the room or way to lock the door, the hostel itself felt unclean and the shower only had cold water. We booked a private room but instead were given a windowless 10 bed dorm, although we did have it to ourselves. Relative to other hostels we have stayed in on our trip this was very poor value.

Overall ok but… There was a stray cat crying all night in the room who woke me up by jumping on me at 4 in the morning! 😤. beds to small for people of 1,87 m. Glasses to drink are dirty and even brown. Overall ok if you are not big, but had a bad experience

Disgustingly dirty hostel. Bathrooms were never cleaned, kitchen a health hazard and breakfast was minimal. Avoid.

The staff were lovely and made us a nice breakfast. One of the beds had some kind of insects/bugs that triggered an allergic reaction to a girl in our group. We only found out the day after that it was something in the bed. There was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms.

Hostel was pretty dusty, but this is due to the area it’s in, and the bed sheets came off the bed a lot. Kitchen didn’t really have much utensils but the included breakfast is ok, with bread and fruit. Vibes are good at the hostel as it’s pretty social in the evenings.

Är ett socialt hostel om man pratar spanska. Det finns inte tvål på något av badrummen. Det är ändå ett minimikrav.

El lugar lo hace la gente y los voluntarios. Las instalaciones dejan mucho que desear. Los enchufes en la habitación no funcionan, el colchón, almohada, sabanas son viejas, no hay lockers en la habitación y algo que me chocó qué al estar un baño dentro de la habitación sea de uso común para todo el hostel, osea que a la habitación donde están tus cosas personales sin locker para guardar pueda entrar cualquiera en cualquier momento. Si es económico pero hasta ahí para lo que ofrecen.

Hostel nah am Busterminal. hatte erst 8er Dorm gebucht, da der Raum aber ohne Fenster war und die Luft extrem schlecht war und es keine Ablagen oder Schränke für Rucksäcke und Taschen gab, lag schon von den anderen Gästen alles am Boden voll. Konnte zum Glück spät abends gegen Aufpreis in ein freies Zimmer mit eigenem Bad wechseln, das war dann in Ordnung.

Dorm room was 10 people (7 guests + 3 stuff) so "7 bed form" feels deceptive. No lockers in rooms, beds were shaky and without ladders, only 2 bathrooms. stove was barely working. Great backyard and very close to everything, stay in Tilcara was overall great but this hostel needs to made some fixes ...

Hermoso lugar para alojarse en Tilcara. Lxs voluntarixs fueron muy copadxs y buena onda y el lugar es un sueño, muy lindo! Además está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la terminal de ómnibus y del centro del pueblo. Volvería!

é um bom lugar, pequeno. Os lençóis e coberta são sujo fiquei toda me coçando. Não troca pq eu vi. Não é um dos melhores que tem lá. Vão em outros.

For a hostel in the Andes of Argentina, one can't complain; the staff were friendly. The owner organized several BBQs.

Very nice and social Hostel, they have delicious selfcooked dinner together every nigth, wich dosn‘t cost much. The volunteers are very friendly and help you with everything. The Vibe is top tier!

uno dei migliori ostelli in cui sono stata ultimamente! ambiente fantastico, persone amichevoli, accoglienti e molto simpatiche. fossero tutti così! se cerchi un ambiente giovane dove fare amicizia ma anche essere comoda per muoverti (a 2 min dal terminal dei bus) è il posto perfetto

This is a quintessential hostel for backpackers. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the vibe was great. There’s one common area that everyone hangs out in, so it’s easy to meet people. Not very clean, but other than that, loved staying here while we explored jujuay.

Es un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y cómodo. El personal es increíble. Viajé solo e hice amigos con los que salí de excursión. Lo recomiendo 100%

We only spent a day but all the people working there where very nice and welcoming, and the hostel had all you needed

Great hostel, appears it could be very social but i went in low season so there were not many guests. It is rather rustic but still confortable. Only complain is that there were no window in the 10-bed dorm.

Pessoal muito atencioso e simpático. Ambiente social muito legal. Hostel bem próximo a estação de ônibus e do centro da cidade. Café da manhã incluso. Vale muito a pena

I came to Tilcara for a day and ended up staying a week. The town and hostel has such a unique charm and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The hostel staff were so lovely, and all extremely talented. I will miss this hostel and remember it for ever. I will definitely be back.

BEST HOSTEL!!! Loved my stay, especially the staff is sooo nice. Had a great time with the people there, it’s really social if u want, everybody cooks together and have a good time. Thank u so much for everything, one day definitely coming back 🫰🏼

Muy buena ubicación, a metros de la terminal de colectivos y a unas cuadras de la plaza. Recomendado para descansar unos días
