Stay Inn Taksim Hostel

We had to push the beds together, and underneath them we found a pack of cigarettes and toilet paper, showing that they had not been moved for cleaning in quite some time. There wasn’t hot water for several hours in the bathroom on the second floor, the shower on the first floor is broken, there is a lot of mold, and the cleanliness is really bad. Didn’t realise this place is next to a night club. You will be awake all night hearing people talk, scream and smash glass. It’s a vibe if you don’t sleep of a night and tend to go out but I would avoid staying here if you need a good nights rest.

Very dirty place, inside out, busy and crowded and very noisy area, walls were very unclean same as showers and toilets. One shower and toilet at same room for three dorms at the floor. You might need to walk to nearby hotel or restaurant not to miss yourself. Windows are not soundproof so no sleep over night whatsoever. Bed was the worst I ever slept on. Mattress completely destroyed, like you put your head under your body because it’s tilted. No flat mattress for sure. No go there again for ...

The reception doesn’t work from 00:00. We arrived at 23:40, did check in with the guy and we didn’t get the right room that we order. After that it’s was after 00:00, and we have problem with the key. We tried to call the G.M and the reception and we didn’t get answer!! We stuck out the room like 35m and no body was helping us. Terrible hostel, the moment we arrived told us that they’ve cancelled our reservation without notifying us. They sent an email they said but in a different one not in my email. One more thing was, they had a list of the people that they are going to cancel on that day and it was quite a bit long. Plutôt bien situé, plutôt propre, mais : Chambre donnant sur une rue extrêmement bruyante la moitié de la nuit Et surtout, odeurs pestilentielles venant de la salle de bain. Ce n'est pas sain de dormir dans des odeurs d'égouts de la sorte. Aucune réaction de la part de la personne à la réception, fuyez. Chambres au même prix voire moins chères bien plus accueillantes dans les environs.

Für eine Nacht ist es völlig okay, aber die Bäder, Zimmer und die Küche sind nicht so neu und sauber wie auf den Fotos. Alles eher zweckmäßig!

I forgot a bag on my first visit, called them immediately after leaving and they found it and "kept it safe" until I come back, then I came back to find out that some valuable stuff were taken from it and only kept the cheap stuff. Never again.

Was very warm dorm and comfortable beds need it this time of year . Bit cold in reception but the staff very helpful Great location very close to fish markets and bars great atmosphere.

Nice stay. Staff were helpful and flexible. It’s really close to food spots, bars, and clubs, which is great unless you’re trying to sleep lol. Other than that I had a nice comfortable stay :)

Great place with amazing staff! The only downside is that it's a bit noisy at night. But staying in Taksim, that can happen to you anywhere.

Your average hostel really, dorms are really small. AC didn’t work and bathrooms aren’t great. Staff are great! Thanks Umat

I had the private room. Location was perfect, 4min walking from the bus without many hills (which is quite normal in the area). Of course it was a bit noisy but there is a lot of party going on so it is normal in the neighbourhood. The facilities were clean. My room was comfortable and spacious. The best, the workers there. I had a great time chatting with them.

Good place clean, but no elevator so keep that in mind with your luggage

Es war okay für den Preis, aber vor allem haben mich die Badezimmer gestört. Der Boden war immer Nass, außerdem gab es vereinzelt Schimmel. Die Zimmer wurden regelmäßig sauber gemacht, es war aber schwierig zu lüften und die Klimaanlage war sehr laut. An sich ist die Lage gut, aber nachts etwas laut. Das Personal war immer nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Von einer Einsatzbraten Küche hat aber leider jede Spur gefehlt.

The Hostel location in Taksim square near the Istiklali street staff was good ! I enjoyed stay is safe and clean but there's no private shower inside room

nous avons passé une semaine au Stay inn pour notre passage a Istanbul, la localisation est parfaite, tant pour visiter que sortir le soir et le personnel est accueillant, arrangeant et très sympa ! Merci encore !

Awesome Hostel. The best hostel in Istabul by far!!! Staff members are professional and friendly. The rooms were super clean, the lobby was beautifully decorated. The kitchen is available for use, refrigerator, utensils, dishes and etc etc. 7 to 8.minutes walk to Taksim Square, plenty of transportations neaeby. Havabus to both airports is about 15 minute walk. Plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants!!! Super highly recommended 👌

i loved my 2 stays in stay inn Taksim hostel, the atmosphere is lovely , the location is 1 min from istiklal caddesi. The staff i met are awesome; Emre, Deniz and Humud :)

This was my second visit. Staff are really friendly and hostel has quite good location! Comparing rooms and its prices, i think it is best one in Istanbul

I stayed here for 21 days. Staff was really good and helpful. Location is also quite good for travellers / tourists; 5 min walks to Taksim / Istiklal streets, metro and bus stations. Wifi connection was really good. Beds, rooms and WCs were clean and also cleaned daily.
