Absoluter Horror. Das gesamte Bettzeug und die Klimaanlage war schimmlig und auch das ganze Zimmer roch modrig. Das Badezimmer war ok. Die Steckdose war halb defekt und hat Funken geschlagen. In der Nacht kamen fremde Jugendliche in die Unterkunft und haben den Gemeinschaftsbereich benutzt. Das geht gar nicht! Wir haben sie selber weggeschickt. Die Lage ist nicht so gut (zu weit vom Zentrum weg). Metro/Zug zu Fuss 20-25‘. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war kompete...
The whole bed linen and air conditioning was foul and the whole room smelled blue too. The bathroom was ok. The outlet was half broken and had a spark. At night, foreign teenagers came into the accommodation and used the common area. This is not possible! We sent them away ourselves. The location is not so good (too far from the center). Metro/Zug zu Fuss 20-25. Breakfast was good. The staff at the reception was competent.
This hostel felt OLD and dirty,truly needs renovations to look cleaner. It was my final hostel after 3 months in India and it was one of the worst although i was hoping for it to be the best from the pictures seen online... Narrow /low quality bunk beds (felt like I could fall down), no individual light to read at night, no working lock on the door of the female dorm, holes in bedsheets, old bathroom, not so clean/well maintained common areas... At least the staff was nice and helpful.
Place is at okay place however not enough washroom facility is available. They charged extra too than the price shown on the Website.
1. the hostel is under constrtruction. is too early to settle people in. 2. staff doesnt speak english required to simple check people in.
The smell in the room was extremely humid and moldy, also there was a lot of visible mold. There was a worm in the shower one time. Also, the hot water shower tap was broken causing us to be burnt by the hot water. This was in the family room. At breakfast, there were small insects walking on the food. There was only warm Milk for the cereal and the empty tray with sandwiches/parathas (differed per day) was refilled too slowly. There was fruit at breakfast, banana and watermelon or papaya.
Das gesamte Hostel ist leider sehr runter gekommen, es gibt keine Nachtlampen oder Vorhänge am Bett, die Betten sind außerdem sehr schmal. Aber alles war sauber und das tägliche Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Dame an der Rezeption war nicht sehr freundlich und ich war sehr überrascht, als ich mir nicht aussuchen durfte in welchem Bett ich schlafe, obwohl ich die erste Nacht den Schlafraum für mich alleine hatte. Dafür war das Küchenpersonal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Lage ist okay.
The whole hostel unfortunately has come down very badly, there are no night lights or curtains at the bed, the beds are also very narrow. but everything was clean and the daily breakfast was very good. the lady at the reception was not very friendly and I was very surprised when I was not allowed to choose which bed I sleep in, although I had the Schlafraum for myself the first night. for that the kitchen staff was very friendly and helpful. the situation is okay.
It was ok for a night, check in was good, 6 bed dorm was alright but nothing special, beds are very small. At 1 o clock a girl came in and switches the light on for 10 minutes. Shared Bathroom was nice and new.
The place feels a little out of shape - moldy smell especially in the bathrooms, and many walls are crumbling. The beds were comfy and clean and the staff was nice; sadly the breakfast is served at 8am only and will not get restocked after... Mumbai is expensive but for that price, a better standard would be expected.
It served its purpose as a place to sleep and leave our bags. Staff friendly and helpful, but the atmosphere was quiet and not hugely relaxing. There was a strange smell in the female dorm and a lot of mould in the shower rooms. Overall a little expensive for what it is.
Overall it was a decent stay. Although it felt too silent, people weren't that social. May be the hostel can look into, what they can do to get people to interact more with each other. Also they had these NO AC timings ( 10-12 Am| 5-7 pm) which was slightly an inconvenience. Overall it's situated at a good location from where everything is easily accessible.

I was in Locomo hostel during my first days in India and I have a great moment during there. I had the chance to meet nice people who made my time very easy. I felt comfortable so I could rest well..and from this place I could enjoy many places of the big city. 😊

Good hostel
my stay at locomo express was really good. the vibe was very chilled out and for the price you can't go wrong, location was not far from anything and a quick ride from the airport was really helpful aswell. staff were all friendly and gave really good suggestions of stuff to do in Mumbai, will definitely stay here again next time I'm in mumbai
Staff were some of the most welcoming in India which was very nice. Breakfast was good and they did chai in the evenings for free. Social space was good. They let you store your luggage. Security was good as it was all key coded to get up into social space. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Good powerful shower. Dorm bed was comfy. It was quite small for four people but okay if you’re going out all day. They have lockers in the dorm. There was no curtains on the bed which I don’t like.

This property truly exceeded my expectations. Not only is the hostel located in a great location, it also is very clean, the staff is polite, and there's a free tasty breakfast. Siddesh Pawar as a host answers any and all questions you have about Mumbai. The common area is a great place to socialise with fellow travelers. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely come back.
My stay at Locomo Express was really good. What I liked most is that it’s not just a place to stay, but also a comfortable spot to get work done. The vibe is relaxed, and it’s easy to focus without distractions. The staff is also very helpful, a special mention to Shidesh, who made the experience even better. If you are traveling but still need to be productive, this place works really well.
Hostel is clean, in a good location, has good air conditioning. The staff are great, especially Siddarth who was really welcoming and helpful. Didnt have the breakfast but a good inclusion for the price. The hotel could do with fixing/refurbishing some parts of the building - a rat got in our room in the middle of the night through a gap between the window and air conditioning unit.
The location is excellent. Dorms were clean enough and washrooms also well maintained. Clean and tidy common areas. Some minor things could be improved which the hosts received notes on, very well. All the rooms and main entry to the floor, are well secured with a number lock. Host Siddesh was really helpful in all aspects and provided us very good local suggestions and tips, all with a smile. Overall, it was a pleasent experience

Don't be fooled by how the hostel looks from outside. It's extremely well maintained from inside. The dorms and bathrooms are clean. It's quite budgeted and the food is delicious too. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Moreover, as a female I felt secured and happy living there.
