I got mould poisoning from this hostel. There was no windows or fresh air in my dorm room and the room smelt like feet/BO - I slept here for 2 nights and after the first I was already sick, I just didn’t know what it was. Whilst it is a cheap hostel and the staff were friendly, the cleanliness was really poor - hair and dirt in the showers etc - really bad quality beds & sheets, thin pillows, curtain doesn’t even go all the way, clearly the aircon is not cleaned & stops halfway through the n...
Only good thing is location & dorms are big. There is zero vibe, hostel staff doesn’t care to help and do bear minimum, no group chats, nothing to make this feel like a hostel. I think they know people only use it for ADO bus.
El hostal estaba bien. Los chicos del hostal eran muy amables. Lo único que fue desagradable para mi fue que me toco compartir habitación con 5 hombres adultos. 4 eran borrachos. Todas las noches bebiendo y molestándome con bromas y tonterias. Sentí miedo y me abrumé mucho. Las peores 3 noches que he pasado. El hostel esta bien ubicado. Un poco fea la zona de a ratos pero estaba de paso por cancun y me sirvió.
The hostel was fine. The guys at the hostel were very friendly. The only thing that was unpleasant for me was that I had to share a room with 5 adult men. 4 of them were drunk. Every night they were drinking and bothering me with jokes and nonsense. I was scared and overwhelmed. The worst 3 nights I've ever spent. The hostel is well located. The rat zone is a little ugly but I was just passing through Cancun and it served me.
Expensive for the location and overall quality yet very close to the ADO station. Free water, no curtains for the upper beds, my dorm really stank of sweat but this is obviously not the owner’s fault.
Very poor hostel. Too basic
Horrible stay, rude and careless staff who managed to let me get a concussion from one of there hammocks without telling anyone it was broken. Told me they would cover my medical bills and completely ghosted me and had overcharged me for my room and charged my card without asking when I wanted to pay cash. DO not stay here. Not nice and dangerous location as a female, the ac and hot water was broken.male staff came into girl rooms and woke us up because they have to “check to see what works”...
Booked an 8 bed female dorm, woke up with 5 men in the room. When I checked out I raised this to the staff member on reception, he said another girl had reported the same that morning but said he had no access to change the room assignment and would speak to the manager to refund me the difference & promised me an email to confirm. Still haven’t received anything. The rooms are huge and quite eerie / echoey so you hear every noise. Rooftop is nice but it’s a ghost town.
Trotz Reservierung und Angabe, dass unser Flug und daher wir erst spät ankommen, kein Bett erhalten. Spät in der Nacht weg geschickt worden ohne Kommentar und ohne Empfehlung für eine Möglichkeit wo zu schlafen
Despite reservation and statement that our flight and therefore we arrive only late, we do not receive a bed. sent away late at night without comment and without recommendation of a place to sleep
I would not recommend staying at this hostel. After travelling through the night and arriving at the hostel at 6:45am I was not allowed on the premises of the hostel until i had paid for the room and 1000 MXN deposit. I had just arrived into the country, needed a few minutes with wifi to sort my finances out, get cash out etc and they would not even let me in the common area. I am a solo female and had to go to another hostel to organise myself before returning with the cash for them to even let...
Chose this hostel for its location close to the airport, but couldn’t sleep all night because of the gym next door that is open 24/7. They were playing music so loud and dropping weights that keep us up all night even if we had earplugs. The staff and manager told us they could do nothing. It is not worth paying a $100 for a night when you can’t sleep at all.

Hostel bien ubicado la chica de la recepción me cambio de cuarto porque el mío la cama no la habían hecha después de una larga espera al cech in...ambiente muy flojo ...no me me devolvieron el depósito de inmediato tuve que llamar otra vez y al final llego' la cocina está muy descuidada no tiene casi nada de utensilios en fin para quedarse una o dos noches está bien
Hostel well located the receptionist girl changed me room because mine the bed had not been made after a long wait at the cech in...very loose environment...they did not return me the deposit immediately I had to call again and at the end I arrived' the kitchen is very sloppy it has almost no utensils in the end to stay one or two nights is fine
Mon séjour c'est bien passer ! Il n'y a cependant pas de cuisine si on veut se faire des repas. C'est plus un hôtel que une hauberge. Endroit propre proche du centre ville à pied.
My stay is good! however there is no kitchen if you want to make meals. it is more a hotel than a hostel. clean place close to the city center on foot.
I stayed here for one night before my flight out the next morning. I chose it for its location close to the bus station and I wish I could have stayed longer. The rooftop pool and common spaces were so nice and relaxing, I could’ve spent another few days there. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable.
Nice hostal. Whoever stole my bottle of rum you are a cow8ard and loser. Karma is coming your way.
This was a lovely hostel, close to the bus station and shops nearby. The pool and fitness areas were lovely. The fitness area could do with more equipment but we still made use of it. The kitchen area was v dirty with no bowls to be found. This was a shame and wouldn’t encourage me to cook there. The room was nice,comfortable, there was hot water, plug by your bed, good WiFi etc. I enjoyed my stay!
Stayed the one night as I landed late in Cancun. Reception staff were really helpful and the rooms were really spacious. Quite quiet which was good.
A nice, clean hostel with genuinely kind and helpful staff. The shower was cold, which was a bit of a letdown, worth knowing if that’s important to you. The vibe felt fairly quiet during my stay, though I was only there for one night so I may not have caught it at its best.
Es un muy buen hostel. Siempre lindo, con bonitas instalaciones, y lo mejor es la ubicación, que está súper cerca del Ado. Sebas y la chica de cabello rizado de recepción siempre son muy amables 💖

Alleen maar voor 1 nachtje verbleven om door te reizen. Vlakbij het ADO busstation wat handig was!
Only stayed for 1 night to travel from one place to another.Vikbij the ADO bus station which was handy!
I didn‘t like this place. It was very smelly in the doorm. The toilet and shower stank. The sink was in the sleeping room. The pillow and sheet were dirty when I arrived. The whole hostel is very basic and there‘s no cozy atmosphere. Location is right in front of the ADO Busstation.
Excelente servicio, atención y las instalaciones muy bien, la ubicación esta genial, llegue muy facil del aeropuerto y desde ahi me pude mover a Playa, Zona hotelera, etc en transporte público de forma eficiente.
Excellent service, attention and very good facilities, the location is great, very easy to get from the airport and from there I could move to Playa, Hotel Zone, etc. by public transportation efficiently.
Die Unterkunft liegt in einer guten Lage! Das Personal ist freundlich. Leider sind ein paar Möbel sehr in die Jahre gekommen (zB die Locker für die Koffer/Backpacks) . Niemand von uns konnte den Backpack sicher wegschließen.
The accommodation is in a good location! the staff is friendly. unfortunately some of the furniture is very old (e.g. the Locker für die Koffer/Backpacks). none of us could lock the backpack safely away.
I loved this hostel and ended up coming back :) the pool is super large and clean, there’s a space to workout and some weights to train with (which I loved), the rooms are large and cleaned every day, the beds are comfortable and ope, maybe the only thing is the curtains are small, but it’s not a huge issue, the kitchen is great, open space, thank you to Sebastian & Sharon at front desk & for the great laundry service 😊🤍
A warm welcome, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds, and bathrooms that are always clean. Great location, right next to the bus terminal and a large supermarket. The hostel has a fully equipped and clean kitchen! Thanks to the whole team at Caleta Hostel!
Overall okay for a few Nights. No real atmosphere or hostel vibe. Very very noisy building so you hear everybody’s toilet flushing. Other than that clean, well equipped kitchen, nice rooftop/ chillout area
Good hostel for what I needed. Wanted to be close to the ADO station and it was a 2 minute walk. The hostel room had an awful smell and the room was noisy all night

Had a very lovely stay here. Close to ADO. I always stay one night here between flights and met absolutely amazing people here.

Friendly staff, spacious room and comfortable bed but more of a layover rather than having lots of atmosphere.
