C'est quand même hallucinant de mettre des tentes sur du béton ! Les unes à côté des autres !!! Un seul lavabo pour 25 personnes !! Et pour le même prix qu'un hostal qui vient d'ouvrir à Mazunte, casa San Antonio, qui offre des vraies douches chaudes, des vrais WE en dur, de la climatisation et une piscine !!! LE MEME PRIX !!!!!!!! Sinon, accueil sympa le 1er jour, même si après plus personne. Je n'aime pas mettre des commentaires nuls, mais là, les proprio savent très bien qu'ils p...

Nous sommes arrivés et la tente ne correspondait pas aux photos. Je précise aussi que la tente n'avait pas vraiment de matelas, que le double matelas qu'ils écrivent dans l'annonce est enfait deux couches de couette donc vous dormez sur les dalles de béton. Comment je sais que c'est des dalles? Et bien vous les sentez dans le dos, bref. Nous avons gentiment été 'upgradé' dans un van pour une nuit (parce que les photos n'étaient pas les mêmes). Il y avait des trous dans la moustiquaire ...

There was a miscommunication regarding the price: one staff member gave us a price that was different from the amount we were later asked to pay. When we tried to clarify this, the situation was not handled professionally, and no clear explanation or apology was provided. Entendemos que es un lugar rústico con servicios compartidos pero las tiendas las colocaron en una azotea en construcción y nuestro hospedaje fue junto a material de construcción. En general no está sucio pero tampoco está muy limpio en especial la sala. La cocina y los baños aceptables Las tiendas están viejas y se rompen o tienen hoyos los colchones o colchonetas son viejos. Existe algumas tendas colocadas no meio do acesso. O preço é muito alto para as condições que oferecem.

Staying here was a miserable experience.. The tents only have 2 thin blankets stacked on top of each other that you sleep on and no sort of fan (as seen in the pictures). You have to dump water in the toilets to get them to flush. There was no running water for the majority of my stay. Vibe was kind of dead. There's a steep dirt hill you have to climb to get there. No sort of locks for the bathroom doors and no where to lock up your valuablesGreat location and the shower had a great view

The Location is pretty good. Close to the beaches, close to center, etc. View is also nice. People owning the place are also cool. But overall price-performance ratio is not that well. Everything feels a bit freestyled and temporary. The kitchen was not practical and poorly equipped. Missing privacy in toilet and shower. I think water gets recycled, because the flushing water of the toilet is grey and stinks. Only tents to sleep in and thin sleeping pads. Personally too pricy for what you get.

Luego los colchones no son muy buenos en las tiendas pequeñas y medianas.. bastante usados y sucios debajo de sábanas limpias. No hay mucho espacio entre tiendas y poca privacidad. Süsses Hostel auf einem kleinen Hügel gelegen. Nachts wurde es sehr heiss im Zelt und die Duschen haben sehr wenig Wasser wodurch ich Schwierigkeiten hatte, meine Haare komplett zu waschen. Personal sehr lieb und habe mich sicher gefühlt.

Beautiful place with very welcoming hosts! Was an amazing spot to be a bit closer to nature while still being in the middle of Mazunte. Can only recommend :))

Great glamping hostel, amazing staff. Max and Emelia made us feel welcome and took care of anything we needed help with. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Bajo, we had a teepee which felt spacious and the mattress was really cosy. Bajo has a peaceful, happy vibe. Just beware if you’re not a fan of camping or bugs, it might not be for you 🐖🌷

Super chill place to stay, basic amenities but that’s what you expect when camping, loved it here :)

Amazing place for those who love outside and camping. When I arrived I had some problems finding the hostel because I've arrived late at night, but in the morning the host apologized and offered me a better accommodation. I ended up staying for longer than expected. The weather conditions at night are perfect for me, no need for a fan or heater. The showers are very outdoorsy with a beautiful view. The hostel is located a bit uphill, but that's why it's so perfect at night 🌃

Sehr sehr schönes Hostel! Auf einem kleinen Berg von dem man auf der einen Seite das Meer und auf der anderen Mazunte sieht. Alle Einrichtungen sind total schön in die Natur eingebunden. Danke! :-)

Beautiful place in the hills. Loved the commun area and Daniel was amazing !

Very nice cozy place. Unfortunately I was there at a time where there was no one else, I was the only one, and I was missing the social aspect. Very nice staff. Do not underestimate the bugs tho. You’re camping, you’re outside, so you’re definitely going to meet (huge) bugs. If you’re fine with that this is a perfect place!!

Bajo Las Estrellas is a perfectly fine hostel, its very chill but not very social. If you're looking to meet a lot of people this might not be it. The staff was very helpful, everything we needed was quickly accomodated. For instance tours, beach equipement and laundry are all available. We slept in one of the vans which was fine but got extremely hot. Another thing of note is the huge amount of musquitoes, this may be due to the time of year (july) but still good to be aware of.

Bajo Las Estrellas was scheduled for me for 2 nights and I stayed for 5. Fer who was taking place of the place made me feel right at home, all the travelers who passed around were super kind, the volunteers Paola and Ivar were both two amazing friends to meet, the location is nice and quite and the tents are kitted to make you feel cozy, the place also makes nature and our surrounding of it's highest priorities. I have not felt as home as I have felt in Bajo Las Estrellas in many places in my ow...
