Hostel Knot

Loved this place, the hostel is beautifully designed in a traditional Japanese style. The location is excellent and right in the heart of town. Also, the staff were so kind—they explained all the main local attractions to me and even gave me a cute map

The hostel was a complete delight! Clearly the owner and staff, Jamie, were devoted to having happy guests! We felt looked after in every way! While maintaining good rules on cleanliness and quietness the hostel felt warm and lovely very and inviting!!! Thanks Jamie for answering all of our myriad questions and helping us solve problems with a steady and even demeanor!

Great location, great space, great staff! Would definitely recommend! The only caveat is that the mixed dorm rooms have very little ventilation so it gets hot and stuffy in there at night. Overall, a great stay!

Super chill hostel. Not a party hostel but great for a nature getaway out of the bustling cities. The location is nearby a lot of great onsens and a free public foot-bath (dope btw). Staff were lovely and the beds were cozy and private. Loved the design and feel of the place.

Fantastic place. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the hostel was spotlessly clean and beautiful inside and out, and all the facilities you could need were provided, including a fully stocked kitchen, laundry machines and free access to an Onsen right next door. My only complaint would be that the sleeping pods were a bit stuffy, although this is a fair tradeoff for the high level of privacy and soundproofing they provide vs. a standard bunk. Maybe bring a small fan with you.
