It is a Hostal not a Hostel. It is not suitable for backpackers. what I don't understand is how it appears on this page.
Before I arrived, I thought Mustafa Pension was a hostel, but it's actually more like a hotel with a restaurant. The place is nice, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was a good stay overall!

Un très chouette pied à terre à Pamukkale, où l'équipe est d'une gentillesse et amabilité fabuleuses. Les tarifs sont plus élevés qu'ailleurs, mais alignés aux endroits touristiques. Ici vous pourrez vous reposer, discuter, rencontrer d'autres voyageurs, manger. Comme dans la plupart des hôtels, l'insonorisation et la salle de bain ne sont pas au top, mais sont compensées par la bonne énergie de chacun des membres de l'hôtel. A very nice foot on the ground in Pamukkale, where the team is of fabulous kindness and friendliness. The rates are higher than elsewhere, but aligned with the tourist places. Here you can rest, chat, meet other travelers, eat. As in most hotels, the soundproofing and bathroom are not top notch, but are compensated by the good energy of each of the hotel members. Thank you very much for these three very pleasant days !
Pros: The hotel is very close to Pamukkale Pools. There is a restaurant at the hotel in which they give discounts to the guests. The beds were comfortable. Cons: One of the employees (the cook) made my friend super uncomfortable by asking her for her Facebook. He then proceeded to send her creepy messages. The pillows were absolutely horrible.
You can see the calcium from the balcony where breakfast is served. Ali and Ferdy were so helpful throughout my stay, giving me all the information I needed! There are nice restaurants/shops/pharmacy/transport office all really close so the location is really perfect! I didn’t meet many backpackers but I think a lot do day trips from other cities, even still it was a great place to stay!
very nice place, specially the staff, very friendly and kind. the food was delicious and the location was fantastic.
Friendliest welcome we had in Turkey. Staff ist eager to help and very obliging. They even got us our bustickets. They have a good rooftop restaurant with a great view. It is located only a few meters from the famos Pools. The bathroom could be a bit more spacious and better maintained (as usuall). Overall a pretty good place to stay.

Great location, 2 minute walk from Pamukkale. The shower did not have a shower door though and the shower head holder was broken - water goes everywhere
could not recommend this place more!! the staff are incredible, so so friendly and accomodating - wish more places were like theirs. will be back again 🫶🏼🫶🏼
We were very well looked after at the Mustafa Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They let us store our backpacks before checking in to visit Pamukkale. The food was delicious and homemade, and the meat was always grilled and very flavorful. The room was comfortable and had a good shower and air conditioning. I recommend it for a stay and a rest in the city.
Une halte sympathique à Mustafa Pension! Vous serez juste à côté d’une des deux entrées du site de Pamukkale, le soir le patron vous proposera peut-être de danser . C’est joyeux et calme avec une bonne literie. Vous y dormirez bien !
A nice stop at Mustafa Pension! you will be right next to one of the two entrances to the Pamukkale site, in the evening the boss may offer you to dance. it is cheerful and calm with a good bedding. you will sleep well there !

The kindest and most helpful staff I’ve met at a hostel! The chef is so friendly and went out of his way to make me feel welcome. The staff gave great recommendations and even picked me up from the bus stop! The onsite restaurant is great, I would eat there even without the 10% discount. And you couldn’t ask for a better location, it’s literally a 3 minute walk from the south gates and you can beat the tour bus rush if you get there early (the buses get dropped off at another gate.)

A good place in Pamukkale. You habe a discount if you eat in the same place. 100% recommended.

En Mustafá Pensión tienes todo lo necesario para pasar una noche en Pamukale. No esperes un baño con un alicatado de 10 ni un edificio nuevo. Tendrás, cama,aseo, y buena comida a 2 min de la puerta de Hierapolis. Una terraza preciosa con semi vistas a las trevertinas, y mucha amabilidad y buen servicio.
In Mustafá Pension you have everything you need to spend a night in Pamukale. Don't expect a bathroom with a 10-story gable roof or a new building. You'll have a bed, toilet, and good food 2 minutes from the gate of Hierapolis. A beautiful terrace with semi-view of the treverts, and lots of friendliness and good service.

A nice place to stay with very helpful and friendly staff. The free breakfast is very good. I had to leave early my last day and they prepared breakfast for me earlier than they normally do.
Ferdi, qui s'occupe de l'hôtel est plein de bonnes attentions. J'ai eu un problème le jour de mon arrivée,qui,pour être résolu m'a contraint dépenser une bonne partie de mon budget du voyage. Voyant la difficulté dans laquelle je me suis retrouvé, il m'a fait une réduction,m'a offert un sandwich et était aux petits soins. Je ne dis pas qu'il faut espérer une réduction ou des traitements de faveurs, mais Ferdi est plein d'humanité, de bon coeur et fait tout pour que le séjour se pas...
Ferdi, who takes care of the hotel is full of good attention. i had a problem on the day of my arrival,which,to be solved forced me to spend a good part of my budget for the trip. seeing the difficulty i found myself in, he gave me a discount,offered me a sandwich and was very caring. i am not saying that one should hope for a discount or favors, but ferdi is full of humanity, good hearted and does everything to make the stay go as smoothly as possible.

A 50m de la entrada del Castillo de Algodón Tiene restaurante, con buena comida y buenos precios, información turística, wifi y agua caliente. Pamukkale es un pueblo y el hotel está en el centro. Al ser un pueblo, viven del turismo y no hay instalaciones muy lujosas por lo que el hotel no es lujoso. Sinceramente la MEJOR OPCION de hotel que balancea precio/comfort/ubicación y excelente atención y disposición de atender. Recomiendo la comida por una salsa hecha a base de pomegranate DELI...
50m from the entrance of the Algodón Castle It has a restaurant, with good food and good prices, tourist information, wifi and hot water. Pamukkale is a pueblo and the hotel is in the center. Being a pueblo, they live from tourism and there are no very luxurious facilities so the hotel is not luxurious. Sincerely the BEST hotel option that balances price/comfort/location and excellent attention and willingness to serve. I recommend the meal for a sauce made from a delicious pomegranate.
Perfect! They were extremely patient with me checking in early and checking out late. Comfortable place and extremely well situated, with good food too :) (Early check in was especially useful because you can get trapped with people arriving in the morning otherwise)
