Really nice view from the location. The location itself is nice as you can go see other parts of the center of Rio. Apart from that the place only has 1 shower! And from my experience the staff are rude when I visited

Infelizmente o local deixou a desejar, em quesito de limpeza e segurança, achamos uma barata no quarto, banheiros compartilhados muito insalubres. O banheiro feminino não tem tranca, e tinha um homem tomando banho dentro dele. Não me senti nenhum pouco segura. O único ponto positivo é a equipe do local, muito atenciosos e prestativos.

Nice place to stay but was very quiet. Good location as close to lapa and santa teresa and felt quite safe

A segurança foi ok, local todo protegido. Porém, a localização não é muito longe do centro, mas para mim já meio que sobe um morro e fica meio isolado de lugares onde tem maiores movimentos, então para sair a noite sozinha já penso mais e acho mais perigoso. O pessoal eu gostei demais, Leandro me atendeu muito bem, fui bem recepcionada por ele. O ambiente é legal, as pinturas na parede e o casarão, mas ele está precisando de uma melhorada. A limpeza principalmente da cozinha não ach...

La estancia allí fue agradable y el desayuno estaba muy bueno. Los empleados muy majos y disponibles en todo momento. Lo único negativo que tenemos para mencionar eran las muchísimas escaleras que hay que subir para llegar al hostal.

The hostel itself is beautiful but for the price you’re paying, the dorms are quite grimey, not enough power outlets and the bathrooms aren’t cleaned thoroughly. At least from what I saw. Staff are super kind and the pool/bar area is gorgeous

Overall a great hostel, where there are free drinks at the bar each night, so you will meet a lot of people. The free breakfast is just bread, fruit, juice and coffee, so nothing fancy. We found the area pretty safe, but maybe we’re just lucky, as we have heard, it can be quite sketchy. But we walked home during the night, and didn’t experienced anything. The rooms could use a deep cleaning, and if you choose the 8 dorm, there is no space at all. So would go for one of the others for sure!

very nice hostel with a very nice staff the location is over the top for carnival and touristy places but very annoying if you wanna grab a uber moto. The room are very small but honestly it does the job ! the breakfast and hostel are very nice overall

Excellent location! Close to the lapa area and walking distance to the most popular sights in rio. The staff very helpful on booking tours and recommendations where and how to go to other areas of Rio !

Staircase sucks but can’t do anything about that. Great people. AC was a godsend.

J'y ai passé 9 jours, 9 jours de bonheur ! Le seul point noir, mais qui est inévitable, sont les interminables escaliers qu'il faut gravir et nous laisse en sueur. Mais en sueur devant une vue magnifique sur Rio, un staff toujours aidant et une ville entière à conquérir Allez à Santa Teresa, tout comme on conseille de ne pas dormir là où on fait la fête, le fait que ce quartier soit excentré est un vrai plaisir. Un plaisir décuplé par le street art, la végétation et un quartier ...
