Hanoi Little Town Hotel

+ The staff were very nice and helpful, and the location was great, walking distance to everything in the old quarter.

- The room was very small, and we could hear everything that was happening in the hallway and in other rooms. The walls were very thin and not soundproof at all. The room had no ventilation and there was mold in the bathroom. The shower drained so slowly that the whole bathroom floor flooded every time we showered.

- L'odeur dans l'hôtel Forcément proche de la ville donc assez bruyant (à 7h du matin il y a les hauts parleurs avec les infos locales ce qui est normal au vietnam mais c'est bon à savoir) Pas d'aération dans la salle de bain.

+ נהנתי משישה לילות במקום בטוח, נקי ונעים, במרכז הרובע העתיק. הצוות והמנהל היו נהדרים. האירוח היה ברמה גבוהה.

+ הכל מאוד מקצועי וברמה טובה.

+ Staff were amazing, good location and close to amenities. Would come back here again, served its purpose and was comfortable.

+ Hotel had a lot of old charm. It was a good location for walking around the old town. The stuff were helpful answering questions and provided extra pillows when I asked for with no problem.

- The carpet is a bit old and dirty looking would be nice to have that replaced and the couch also was a bit stained

+ Location was good not far from all main areas and wasn’t loud from main road either. Clean comfortable hotel and staff were really kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

- If I have to pick on something the balcony wasn’t too big but was not a problem for us.

+ Personalen var supertrevlig. Kunde bra engelska och alltid hjälpsamma. Vi utökade 2 nätter och bokade även en till natt efter vår loop. Man kan lämna in tvätt för 40K/kg. Levererades samma dag. Städarna gjorde ett otroligt jobb varje dag också. Vi lämnade ganska stökigt någon dag men det ordnade allt ändå.

- Det var lite fuktigt i rummet då det inte är något fönster att öppna utåt. Lite mögel på badrummet men inget som störde oss. Bra boende för det priset.

+ Good value for money in old Hanoi

+ We stayed here 3 times for a total of 6 nights while exploring Northern Vietnam, and were impressed with the excellent customer service from Ken and his colleagues. Not only did they store our bag for over a week, but delivered it straight to our room when we returned. They also accepted Grab Food deliveries for us while we were out. Ken made helpful suggestions for our DIY planning, and arranged our transportation to Mai Chau and Ha Long Bay at a fraction of what the cruise company charges. It was charming how the staff opened the lobby door for us every time - a nice personal touch. When we returned, they even remembered our names! Each time we stayed in a different room type based on the availability of complimentary upgrades. Standard double room 302 is quieter as it's at the back away from the street, and best for a single guest or a cozy couple as the bed occupies most of the room, with a narrow passage to walk around it. Family room 101 has good views of the street below from the small balcony (standing room only) and the adjacent desk; however, being closer to the action means more of the street noise carries in. The mattress on the single bed was softer and more comfortable than the firm large one, both of which leave a narrow passage to get around. Executive room 501 doesn't have a balcony and the street noise is audible through the window, but it was our favourite because of the spacious sitting area with a very firm love seat and coffee table. All the bathrooms were similar in size and design, with plenty of toiletries, hot water and good drainage on the floor for the shower. It's a wet bath (without partition), but there's nice slider shoes and a extra towel to wipe down the surfaces after you dry yourself. As with many buildings in the Old Quarter, the elevator starts after an initial flight of stairs from the lobby, which may not be ideal for persons with limited mobility.

+ The best thing for me , was the helpfulness of the staff, they spoke excellent English and nothing was too much trouble. It sits in a very handy location too.

- For an older person like me , it was a bit noisy from motorcycles tooting and general noise from a busy area
