Kydonia Rooms

+ Nada, no pude alojarme aquí porque al llegar habían reservado la misma habitación para otra pareja. Tuvimos que esperar a que el encargado busque otra opción, que finalmente conseguimos después de caminar (con las maletas) por distintas calles. Nos tuvimos que quedar en un hotel más alejado del que habíamos reservado, menos céntrico y totalmente distinto a lo que queríamos. La persona a cargo no tenía solución, siendo que sabía de antes que la habitación estaba siendo reservada por 2 parejas.

- Billederne under bookingen er meget misvisende. Vi ser billeder af en LEJLIGHED, med flere rum og senge placeret i de forskellige rum. Vi rejste et par + en ven, hvilket gjorde det essentielt, at vi havde en lejlighed med flere forskellige rum - som der også stod vi ville. Personalet tilbød os en nødløsning, hvor den ene ven, skulle bo i 4 forskellige rum i løbet af de 9 dage vi skulle være der, til en “tilbudspris”. Når vi meldte hvordan situationen var, og hvad vi havde booket, blev det blot fejet væk af personalet som om det var os, der havde booket det forkerte. Desuden stod der at vi ville have en balkon/terrasse. Vi havde det eneste værelse som ikke havde en balkon. Alt i alt en lidt undervældende oplevelse.

- Bed uncomfortable - a duvet with no cover is unhygenic, pillows were rock hard and bed was very soft. Bathroom is tiny - Room is small. This is not good value. There was no milk for coffee. Room itself is very small.

+ Ήταν καθαρά και όμορφο σαν δωμάτιο σε καλή τοποθεσία. Ευγενικός ο ιδιοκτήτης.

- Υπερβολικά μικρό το δωμάτιο σε σημείο που δεν χώραγες ούτε για τα βασικά (π.χ. άνοιγμα βαλίτσας, να κάνεις μπάνιο, κλπ). Η ντουλάπα υπερβολικά μικρή και έπρεπε να κουβαλήσουμε τις αποσκευές στον 1ο όροφο με σκαλιά αφού δεν υπήρχε ανελκυστήρας ίσως και λόγο του σημείου που βρισκόταν το ξενοδοχείο. Η ηχομόνωση ήταν σχεδόν ανύπαρκτη αφού όλο το βράδυ ακούγα τα πάντα από το πάνω δωμάτιο, σε σημείο που έχανες τον ύπνο σου. Για την τιμή του το θεωρώ αρκετά τσιμπημένο.

+ Situated in the middle of the old town. Very clean, fridge, waterboilder - even some cutlery is there. nice balcony with morning sun.

- Extremely small room. No space to place a bag... The double room is even for one person too small. Bathroom: Washbasin less than shoulderwith, Shower made for tiny people only. Small and steep stairs to the rooms.

+ Es war sauber und trotz centraler Lage sehr ruhig. Manolis und Yanis waren sehr zuvorkommend.

- Der Raum war extrem klein. Zu Zweit mit 2 Koffern kaum Platz. Das Bad, etwas kleineres habe ich noch nie gesehen. Aufstehen von Toilette inkl. Kopfbeule. Dusche habe ich mit 2 blauen Flecken, Dank der Armatur verlassen. Kein Kleiderschrank.Für das 65€ sind in Chania doppelt so große Räume zu mieten. Max für eine Nacht.

- Too small - we couldn’t fit to wash our face. No parking. In the heart of Chania. You need to walk through the alleys since the car cannot come there - only in the early morning. And noisy.

+ Nice welcome, very helpful and kind host. Excellent location in the middle of the old town (downside: have to walk from parking outside the old town, but not very far). Comfy bed, all expected facilities. Served us well in most respects. On paper, looks good, but you must be small and travel light to get the most from the accommodation.

- Tiny space - just about OK for two small people with two small suitcases. Bathroom was tiny, and the sink difficult to actually lean over, as it is recessed into an alcove a lot narrower than my shoulders. Also the shower was very narrow, so if you are not small (height & width!), you will struggle to actually fit into it. We are small, so it only just about worked... The balcony was in itself a decent size, but the view of the "garden" was disappointing - walls, tatty bit of earth, with bits of junk/rubbish lying around. Not sure if this area belongs to the owners of this building, so this may be unfair on them.

+ Lage in Chandia top. Mitten in der Altstadt, 5 Min zur Bus Station, 20 Min vom Flughafen

- Vielleicht höchstens die Beschreibung. Es ist kein Hotel, sondern ein paar liebevoll gestaltete Mini Apartments, wo aber alles stimmt.

+ I was very kindly greeted, and was given much attention.

+ Très bien situé, au centre du vieux port! Un établissement très sécuritaire avec un code pour y entrer. Très bien entretenu et joliment décoré. On nous reçoit avec une délicate attention dès qu'on prend possession de la chambre. Sur la commode, une petite bouteille de Raki avec deux petits verres nous attendaient pour l'apéro! En cas de pépin, le propriétaire nous dépanne immédiatement. Il est très proactif. On ne se sent pas seuls.

- Rien à redire.

+ The rooms stylishly decorated, blending old-town character with modern comfort. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom felt brand new. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes’ walk from cafes, restaurants, and small boutiques. Despite being in such a central area, the room was quiet and peaceful at night.

- Space tiny.

+ Un hotel idéalement situé, un accueil très chaleureux, un appartement très bien aménagé et très confortable. Bref, un vrai bonheur. A faire absolument !

+ Really well situated. Great size room. Awesome staff.

- Didn’t have hot water due to cloudy days and solar heated water, but they got that fixed

+ The room had more than I expected! Well equipped with everything that I could feel the hospitality very much. Very convenient location, super clean, cozy comfortable room with a small balcony where I could have a nice morning coffee. The room was quiet and no city noise bothered me. If you stay long you might need more space but for a night stay like me perfect choice!

- Nothing. Yes you might feel the bathroom is small but it didn’t bother me at all.

+ The location was good just a few metres from the harbour. Staff were very helpful and had a nice balcony at the rear of the property.

+ Da ich abends ankam, bekam ich die Angaben zum Selbst Einschecken vorher mitgeteilt. Alles klappte einwandfrei. Das Zimmer ist so klein wie beschrieben, für eine Nacht war es prima. Es war ruhig und der Balkon bot einen Blick einen verwilderten Garten. Überrascht hat mich eine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank, eine Nespresso Maschine und der Raki. Eine gute Übernachtung für einen Zwischenstopp. Die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist super.
