Koru Bio Hostel

The hostel itself looks nice and new. But there were no other backpackers. Sad, because we were hoping for a social place. Besides that the staff was very unfriendly. We arrived at 1pm and were not allowed to enter the hostel terrain because check in was at 3pm. So we stood there in the heat with all our bags. When we asked about this later they said it was only possible when we had told them before. But we already put in the hostelword app when we would arrive. Really felt not welcoming.

a lovely and unique hotel! amazing places to chill out (pool and plenty of hammocks/deck chairs). we had lots of ants in our dome but they let us move no problem. check in was tricky as we didn't receive any check in information beforehand (like the code to get in) and they tried charging us full price as didn't understand we had already paid the deposit on Hostelworld (check in needs improving). other than this we had an amazing stay and loved relaxing there. would highly recommend!
