Heaven Guesthouse

+ Hele aardige mensen, goeie plek om te relaxen van je lange reis, prima ontbijt, mevrouw geeft hele goeie tips en is super aardig, kan daar een scooter huren, leuke omgeving en kamer voelt als appartement met alles included!

+ Some places the owner or staff make the place, this is definitely one of those instances. The guesthouse has everything you need, but Tina and her Aunt are so friendly, they made my stay extra special with their warmth and friendliness. Some of my best times in Laos were spent in their company, sharing Lao food and understanding more about life in Lao. Truly special travel experience.

+ Grande chambre, lit confortable, climatisation fonctionnelle. Douche grande, avec eau chaude. Bonne réactivité de l’hote par whatsapp meme si sur place nous ne l'avons pas vu seulement la famille qui ne parlait pas anglais mais ce n'était pas un soucis pour communiquer avec des gestes et sourires.

- Loin du centre ville Assez bruyant malheureusement quand les gens marchent sur la terrasse cela faisait trembler notre lit au 1er étage, mais il n'y avait pas trop de monde heureusement !

+ Very clean room. Staff were super friendly. Was really close to a lot of restaurants. Tina was super friendly and gave us good advice

+ Great location near the friendship mall. Tina (Lasavannah 😌) is super friendly and welcomed us with a smile and great English. The room was big, clean, great AC and good shower pressure. Breakfast was basic but nice too.

- Bed was a bit too firm for us but not that’s uncommon when travelling. There was a power cut during a storm after our arrival. Nobody’s fault but be aware if you’re travelling during rainy/stormy season and the whole area had a blackout 😅

+ Je recommande vraiment cet hébergement sans hésiter ! La gérante est une personne absolument adorable, qui nous a fait nous sentir à l’aise dès notre arrivée. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine période de festivités du Nouvel An, et elle n’a pas hésité à nous intégrer à ses amis et aux célébrations, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus mémorable. Elle a le cœur sur la main et fait preuve d’une générosité rare. Elle nous a également énormément aidés dans l’organisation de notre Loop des Bolaven : location de scooter, conseils précieux, et même la possibilité de laisser nos bagages en sécurité pendant deux jours. Un accueil chaleureux, humain et sincère — une adresse que je recommande les yeux fermés !

+ The owners and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. The accommodation is clean and not far from the city center. The breakfast is delicious.

+ Ich habe mehrere Tage im Heaven Guesthouse verbracht und war begeistert: Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Das Guesthouse ist liebevoll und farbenfroh eingerichtet, jedes Zimmer ist einzigartig. Im Außenbereich laden viele Pflanzen zum Verweilen ein – man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Tina, die Besitzerin, spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch, was eine angenehme Abwechslung zu anderen Unterkünften ist, wo oft kaum jemand Englisch versteht. Alle im Heaven Guesthouse sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders berührt hat mich, dass ich zum Neujahrsfest mit der Familie eingeladen wurde – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Tina hat nicht nur mehrere Ausflüge für mich organisiert, sondern mich auch noch unterstützt, als ich bereits ausgecheckt hatte. Sollte ich wieder in der Gegend sein, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten.

+ The staff here are very accommodating. We checked in early and checked out late which was kind of them.

- Unfortunately the photos did not match the actual rooms and breakfast. The first room was infested with flies and bugs so we were moved to a second room which had a broken bed. This wasn’t a new break it had been broken a while. They came up to fix it and it was partially ‘fixed’ for 24 hours before breaking again. We tried to fix ourselves and discovered cockroaches and lots of their eggs under the bed. The breakfast was very small and not like the photos on booking.com. My fruit salad was served to me and covered in ants and bugs.
