60$ for a 10bed dorm is a little unreasonable. Biggest downside are the showers, they would randomly turn boiling hot or ice cold with no warning - no one was flushing toilet in bathroom. Rooftop deck was the highlight
The place is awful, everything is dirty, the kitchen floor is a mess as well as the tables People has food on the lockers of the rooms, at night people shoot the doors is so noisy, my bad was smelling as pee 🤢 The don’t have A/C, no showers

They say the have a n age range. Not true. There were old people in the room and a crying baby next to us
We booked a shared 4 bed dorm and when we arrived she said it's all booked out and she put me and my gf to a male room with 2 65 years old alcoholic and noice dudes that don't even wanted to Close Windows or curtains at night time because otherwise they don't feel Like getting air. Wtf are they even doing in a youth hostel ? The house rules says you have to ve 18-35yo for dorm rooms -????? So Bad
The staff were amazing , otherwise the hostel is full of weird old people only few backpackers who were here for short term and I actually didn’t feel very comfortable.
toilet seat has a build up of dirtiness the shower grout is discusting carpet dusty and old I was scared to touch any door handle the main entrance glass door was full of finger prints and very smudgy I would not come back again to stay at Village hostel
This is the only hostel in Canberra so they can charge whatever they want and rip you off. The kitchen was big but had disgusting fruit flies everywhere and hardly any cooking equipment. Rooms were large but so dirty- despite cleaners there was mouldy food on the table and it looked a mess. Some staff were patronising and obnoxious and tried to enforce rules which not documented or advised upon check in. The only saving Grace for this hostel is there is a large common room however, the tv didn�...

Dorm room extremely frugal. No furniture except coat hooks. Beds very clean, fresh and comfortable with USB port, power points and reading light. Had to make a lift journey to get a cup of tea - could easily be improved with a hot water dispenser on each level. Pleasant outdoor area.
Booked myself a private room for 3 nights. Room, facilities and staff were fantastic. If all "backpackers" accommodations were like this place, it would be great!
Kleines Hostel, hat alles was man braucht. Zimmer waren sauber, Betten hatten Vorhänge. Im Bad fehlen nochmal Aufhänger um Sachen abzuhängen und das Geschirr in der Küche war nicht immer sauber (liegt aber an den anderen Hostelgästen). Dort sind vor allem Menschen die in der Gegend arbeiten und weniger Backpacker. Aber es ist gut gelegen und ruhig
Small hostel, has everything you need. rooms were clean, beds had curtains. the bathroom still lacks hangers to hang things in and the dishes in the kitchen were not always clean (but it is on the other hostelgästen). there are mainly people who work in the area and fewer backpackers. but it is well located and quiet.

Die Badezimmer und die Küche waren eckelhaft zu betreten und haben sehr überl gerochen. Dafür waren jedoch die Lage und die Zimmer sehr schön
The bathroom and kitchen were disgusting to enter and smelled very bad, but for that the location and rooms were very nice.

A lovely clean & modern hostel. Not great for solo travelling though - not social at all and a lot of older men staying there. The staff are super helpful though and will do anything to make sure you’re comfortable. Nice kitchen area too
Was a bit hard to socialize there, in general was really clean- just the kitchen area had a weird smell, I couldn‘t enjoy my food. Anything else was completely fine!!!!
We had a private room, so I can‘t really speak for the dorms, but the private room was basically like a hotel room, very clean and nice staff.
Not clean! Someone throw up in our room some time ago and no one cleaned it. I told them two times and still no one did it. The floor is so dirty. The Bed was full of stains and hairs. Kitchen is also not clean. The Bathrooms dont have Toiletpaper or Soup. Disappointing all the way. Woule be a nice Hostel if it would be clean.
Super comfortable beds, relatively spacious. Kitchen big and clean. The staff were amazing and helpful. Only minus is that the shared bathrooms and private ensuite weren't super clean. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Stayed here for 3 nights while in Canberra. Nice clean and modern hostel. Not too many people staying so it was nice and quiet in the common areas. Good value for the price. Staff are attentive and helpful

Sehr schöne und große Zimmer! Habe ein kostenloses Upgrade vom 8er Zimmer ins 4 er Zimmer bekommen was nicht voll belegt war. Jedoch fand ich die Atmosphäre etwas seltsam und auch die Leute die da waren haben mich nicht 100% sicher fühlen lassen. Aber ansonsten ein schönes Hostel. Badezimmer können sauberer sein
Very nice and large room! got a free upgrade from 8th room into 4th room which was not fully occupied. however i found the atmosphere a bit strange and also the people who were there did not make me feel 100% safe. but otherwise a nice hostel. bathrooms can be cleaner
