Really nice place. Stayed in a private room, bed and pillows were sooooo comfortable. My room had a smart tv also. Location is really nice near parks and attractions.

Great Hostel with the best staff I had so far! Super friendly and helpful! Especially Christian and the German Guy!!!

Did not spend much time in the hostel so unsure of atmosphere. Bathrooms were kept clean and good showers. Dorm bed (8-bed room) was comfortable. Rooftop bar/parties open until 11pm each night so expect noise until then. All the front desk staff were super friendly and willing to help. Overall a great hostel. Special shoutout to Benjamin!!

Great place to stay in Santiago!

The staff here have been amazing! The friendliest and most charismatic people. Huge shoutout to Alejandro, made the stay so welcoming. The hostel is clean and has a lot of amenities to use. Would recommend this place for your travels

The staff were all very friendly, neighbourhood was safe and enjoyable, building and facility was beautiful with many great things on offer. A great short stay in this wonderful town.

Great Hostel with great value! It's located super conveniently in a beautiful old house and the facilities and atmosphere are nice. We stayed there twice and both times the rooms and bathrooms were clean and other guests were friendly and considerate. BUT the highlight are the staff!! Especially Malik and Christian helped us so much by providing advice which really made our time in and around Santiago so much better. Thanks guys and see you again!

Chouette hostel avec tout ce qu’il faut ! Petit dej sur place à payer en plus si besoin, super emplacement ! Très bonnes recommandations pour les restos et activités !

Overall pretty great hostel. Only downsides were that the shower room was flooded constantly and that the supposed drinks events on the terrace didn’t happen a single night we were there, and the lights didn’t even work on the terrace so you can’t hang out there. Otherwise, big rooms and nice staff

This hostel is incredibly well located. It’s very affordable and the staff is excellent. Even has a gym. Unfortunately, The common spaces are designed to avoid casual conversation. The opposite of cozy and welcoming. It’s very sad as the place has great facility and potential; just poorly placed furnature that limits the opportunities to meet new people or strike casual conversation with fellow travelers. Dorms are stuffy crammed and noisy and lack aircon. The toilets and showers are not gre...

I had a very positive experience. Even though I arrived well before check-in time (around 5 AM), I was warmly welcomed — the receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful, allowing me to store my belongings, giving me a quick tour of the hostel, and letting me relax in the common areas until sunrise. Overall, the team is very warm, attentive, and always willing to help, which truly made a difference in my stay.

This is the best hostel I have ever been to. From the minute we walked in the door Christian made us feel welcomed and acknowledged us despite him being super busy. He knows how to do his job very well and is great at English. The amenities and quality showers are what puts this place above the mark. Great location as well. You should definitely stay here if you are in Santiago.

Merced 88 is a really good hostel. It’s in a perfect location for exploring Santiago as it’s near some really good neighbourhoods and the historic centre. The hostel is super clean and the beds are comfortable. The best thing about this hostel though is the staff! They are all so so kind and can’t do enough to help you out. In particular, Alejandro and Kristen really helped us out when we needed to make changes to our reservations, and were both so helpful and kind. Thank you!
