Great location, comfortable kitchen and beautiful terrace with a view.
Dirty and begging for refurbishment. Bathrooms are dirty, showers covered in mould, and only if you’re lucky will you find toilet paper. The only hostel I have ever stayed in that has made me make my own bed. I assume this is because if they entered the dorms they’d be confronted with the persistent bad smell and general lack of cleanliness. Positives are the friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and the truly incredible views.
The owner is super nice and super helpful, talks through the things to do in Chongqing, however as a solo traveller it was not a very social hostel in terms of communal space or activities. They own a coffee shop in which you can redeem a free coffee, I would suggest perhaps organising a time for all backpackers to collect it and mingle to introduce to each other as I was alone in the female dorm here and didn’t catch many other backpackers. Location is excellent though.
Lovely guy on the desk. A good distance from key attractions and a street food lane right outside. But there is no social vibe at all because everyone is Chinese - not good for solo travellers if foreign. It is also different to what maps says location-wise and I struggled a bit when finding it. Felt weird going up the dodgy lift alone at night. The rooms were ok and the bathrooms tolerable but none of the facilities are amazing. A mediocre stay.
Nice hostel in a good location, near to metro station and a lot of the main tourist attractions. Staff were lovely, giving you lots of information about the city. Free filtered water and tea, and homemade bread. A nice rooftop terrace and small common area. Dorm room was very cramped, the mattress was the thinnest I’ve ever seen in a hostel and it’s a pet peeve of mine that you have to make your own bed on arrival.
Es muy buen hostel, lo mejor de todo creo que es la ubicacion, esta en el corazon de la ciudad y todo lo tienes cerca. Lo unico que se me fue dificil, fue dar con el hostel, la verdad que lo sufri, aunque despues de 1 semana de haberme ido, revisando mis correos, me doy con la sorpresa que mandaron un correo en donde me señalaba como dar con el hostel, solo que no revisaba mi correo debido al viaje que tenia
It's a very good hostel, the best thing of all I think is the location, it's in the heart of the city and everything is close by. the only thing that was difficult for me was finding the hostel, the truth is I suffered from it, although after 1 week of being gone, checking my mail, I am surprised that they sent me a mail pointing me to the way to find the hostel, only I was not checking my mail due to the trip I had
Hugely helpful staff and a great location within the city. Difficult to find, doesn’t come up on either Chinese or Western Map apps, see instructions in photos to find door. Beds are fine. Toilets and showers aren’t great. Unbelievable views from a top floor terrace.

The hostel is nice! only thing is that the staff came into the room regularly during our stay there which was quite disruptive at times
Amazing location! Great views as the hostel is in a skyscraper right on the top floor. Excellent security. Bedding smelt damp. Lovely hosts though, who are helpful in helping you navigate the city. Free drinking water.

The hostel is a hidden gem! The owners are really kind and nice, everywhere is super clean and the rooftop is amazing. They also have free tea and bread! The only (maybe) complicated thing is to get there, maybe a sign on the street pointing to the elevators would be helpful but apart from that 10/10

The best Hostel I have stayed in China so far. Really nothing to complain about
Great place to stay highly reconmended! It’s hard to find, would be handy to put some small signs or stickers on where to go. (Enter On the north-east side of the building and take first elevator top floor). Bathrooms are a bit old and tight but very doable. Western toilets!! Best of all is the view! Also quite a social hostel. And staff is very kind :) there is free home made bread!

Loved staying at this hostel! The staff are amazing! The little sitting room is very cozy and there’s free tea. The owner has made his own book of all the things to do in Chongqing and surrounds which is very helpful. The hostel was very clean and there’s free location is perfect.
Very nice staff who gave us great recommendations for the city. It’s also easy to meet people here, and the common area is great. Don’t even get me started on the view. It’s awesome! Definitely recommend!
Die Betten waren etwas hart aber sonst war alles bestens.
The beds were a little hard but otherwise everything was excellent.

Brilliant quirky little hostel.
Exceptionnel, ne regardez même pas les autres hostels. Le gérant est d’une rare gentillesse, tout est propre, il ne manque rien, il y a du pain fait maison chaque matin, des livres de recommandation d’adresses, un espace commun agréable et même un rooftop digne d’un véritable hôtel ! Un séjour génial, on se sent vraiment à la maison.
The manager is a rare kindness, everything is clean, there is nothing missing, there is homemade bread every morning, recommendation books from addresses, a nice common area and even a rooftop worthy of a real hotel!
Wir haben fünf Nächte dort verbracht und es war einfach wunderschön. Dank der detaillierten Beschreibung per E-Mail war die Anreise unkompliziert. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles wurde uns in Ruhe auf den vier Etagen gezeigt. Besonders toll fanden wir den eigenen Touristenguide mit hilfreichen Tipps. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist ein echtes Highlight. Es war mit Abstand ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt – absolut nur zu empfehlen.
We spent five nights there and it was simply beautiful. Thanks to the detailed description by E-Mail the journey was uncomplicated. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was shown to us in peace on the four floors. We especially liked our own tourist guide with helpful tips. The view from the roof terrace is a real highlight. It was by far a very nice stay absolutely only to recommend.
LOVED MY STAY! Felt cozy and at home ! I would definitely return again! The staff was great and hostel was very social !

Rooftop, balcony, lounge area, clean rooms, and amazing people. Overall experience was amazing; the views from the 31st floor is surreal, and the pricing is great. No complaints overall, the staff was great too.
everything about this hostel was fantastic. If i ever come back to Chongqing, this would be my first pick.
A rather small hostel to the point where it feels more like a homestay. It wasn't super social when I was there but there weren't many foreigners traveling in general at that time. The staff are great and helpful and the welcome email they send you really helps finding the place. Would stay again and from what I can tell it's the best hostel in Chongqing.
