Hostel & Rooms Ana - Old Town Dubrovnik

This hostel was pretty disappointing. I arranged in advance with the hostel to arrive very early in the morning with my friends hoping to be accommodated with somewhere to rest. Instead nobody was there and I called and was yelled at to leave the hostel and just roam the streets at 5am? Then at check in we got shown our room which was the smallest hostel room I’ve ever seen. The beds were half a twin size and top bunk was very close to the ceiling. No locks on any doors so no security whatsoev...

Achei o aplicativo confuso, não muito claro em relação a forma de pagamento e as instalações da UH, o que gerou um mal entendido. Fiz uma reserva com a Ana para 3 pessoas num quarto compartilhado, fui recebida por outra pessoa quenão foi sensível a minha necessidade, eu, com 62 anos, instalada num quarto cujo acesso se deava por muitas escadas, tanto na viela quanto dentro do imóvel, sem cozinha, sem mesa, sem estrutura para ficar 5 noites como ficamos. Não volto lá de jeito nenhum.

The Location is right in the middle of the old town, which is really nice. In general the rooms are very stuffed and the overall feeling is not that comfortable. Dubrovnik is an expensive place so this Hostel is the cheapest option but in comparison what you get it was still too expensive in our opinion.

Doesn’t seem like the place is cleaned daily. Kitchen and bathroom smell so bad. No locks on main door or door to the room. But the location was great. Expensive for what we got.

I’m not one to talk poorly about a hostel but this was not a great experience. To start off I feel like I was scammed when staying here. I had booked in advance and the hostel was almost 70 euro a night. I understood that based on how busy Croatia has been this summer. But to hear the hostel worker tell one of the people in my room that an additional night would be 40 euro was unacceptable. I had already paid my hostel fees when this happened so there wasn’t anything to do. i would not recom...

Not good value for money at all. Overpriced and felt quite dodgy. The only saving grace were the fellow travellers going through the same misery. Owner/staff did not put in any effort to make guests feel welcomed and chased us away from the common area on multiple occasions. Would not recommend.

The accommodation was quite old, poor facilities, sheets and towels very hard, the bathroom too small, the air conditioning barely worked. Enough to be in trouble for a night

ZERO security. No lock to the front door or room door. Locker keys open all the lockers. Host walked in to the dorm constantly without knocking. There is not really a common space so if you want to make friends do it in the dorm. Location is perfect. But I felt very uncomfortable during my stay.

THE WORST HOSTEL I’VE EVER BEEN IN ON MY LIFE the hostel itself is untidy, there’s no space (each room has way more beds that cannot fit). you have to leave you’re belongings on the floor that also take space. you don’t have plugs in each bed, the bathroom is always dirty. the price of the hostel is too much for the services given. the only two good things are: it’s located in the middle of the old town and they give you clean towels. everything else is horrifying!! do not recommend ...

Very cute hostel in a really good location in the old town, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Security could be better as anyone can walk in as long as they can be bothered to walk up the 5 flights of stairs but there are lockers in the rooms which was good.

Hostel & Rooms Ana was perfect for my needs. Right in the heart of the old city, it is within walking distance of almost any attraction that would bring someone to Dubrovnik. It is not a luxury hotel but it does not claim to be and what it claims to be (a safe, clean, cheap and comfortable place to stay) it delivers on and then some. I am particularly grateful to the staff who were helpful, approachable and went above and beyond to see that myself and others had what they needed. Many thanks.

Generally a really good place to sleep. I was there just one night and the staff was really nice to me. They explained everything I needed to know about how to get in and out of the city, and the map was super useful

location was perfect, kasper and ignasi who work theor were bith great and very helpful! not alot of room in bedroom but didnt spend much time their so was ok !

I had a wonderful time at this hostel and I would definitely recommend but kitchen could use a bit of a deep clean.
