Antarctica Hostel

Hostel ist ganz ok aber teuer. Bis auf den Mitarbeiter Bryan waren die Mitarbeiter recht freundlich.- Regeln sind etwas zu streng für ein Hostel.- Keine Möglichkeit seine Schuhe oder Kleidung zu trocknen.- zum Duschen müssen Männer durch das ganze Haus und durch die Waschküche laufen.- Dorms sind sehr hellhörig- wenn gekocht wird, riecht man es im ganzen Hostel- kein Sozialraum oder Rückzugsmöglichkeit- keine Touren oder Events

Nice and kind staff. Dorms are situated at an alleyway which meant having to walk through the cold to go the the bathroom. Also had a cold shower twice. Breakfast is good and kitchen well equipped. Dorms cannot be locked, there is a locker though. Overall had a good stay but for the price I’d expect a bit more.

Staff is freindly, but DON’T STAY HERE IN WINTER!!!. No bathrooms, neither sink in the room. You have to go outside at night, dress up with shoes and winterjacket at - degrees. Showers are downstairs, you have to walk through the entire hostel with your towel… Not a good experience.

The Hostel is just OK. Rooms are VERY BASIC. You need to make your own bed when you arrive. No curtains… beds are old and not comfortable.

The biggest thing people should know about this hostel is that the rooms do not lock and they all open up to an alley. I didn’t even stay the night due to feeling sketchy about that situation. If you’re comfortable with that, it has a nice atmosphere and is good for working from home. The showers are on a completely different level than the rooms though which was inconvenient

amazing stay in ushuaia

Stayed here before and after an Antarctica trip. They are stingy about breakfast and the spread is a bit unappetizing. The kitchen is clean and well stocked, though. I think it's a bit weird that the first room I was in only ever seemed to have solo female travelers in it, aside from the man who works the front desk overnight who insisted on following me on instagram. After 3 days of only seeing other girls, it started to look calculated. Plausible deniability, but 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hostel très sympa et bien fourni pour profiter d’Ushuaia et de ses alentours ! Juste petit point faible sur le petit déjeuner, mais comme souvent en Argentine Je recommande !

Very nice hostel. comfortable beds and great breakfast. The showers are also good.

Overall really enjoyed my stay here the common areas are really nice for chilling and the kitchen is great and well equipped . The rooms themselves were a bit run down however the beds were super comfy and a warm cover,and also had big storage spaces for bags . Toilets and showers were not great half the time there was no toilet paper but not dirty. The staff were really friendly and made a great breakfast included eggs,bread,cereal,like one of the best hostel breakfasts ever had .

Ostello pulito, personale cordiale, posizione molto buona (10 minuti a piedi e raggiungi il centro). Zona comune spaziosa, lo consiglio :)

Clean rooms, clean bathroom. A very good kitchen which allows everyone in the hostel to use. Loved the breakfast.

J’ai passé un super séjour dans cette auberge ! Elle est très bien placée, le personnel est super et elle a tout ce qu’on attend d’une auberge ! La pièce commune est propice aux rencontres !

IMO, it's the best hostel in Ushuaia. It's clean, modern, and friendly.

The hotel is nice located in the center and it’s quite sociable with a big kitchen and a nice free breakfast (I just don’t get it why they put peas in the eggs as most people didn’t like it). Rooms are spacious and clean. It was just a bit annoying that they had in the middle of the week a super load karaoke night which started from 10:30pm-1am. Would be much better to have that from 8-10:30pm so that everyone can have a nice sleep.

My only complaint is that the dorm rooms don’t lock. You need a code to get into the hostel at night, but once you’re inside, anyone can walk into any room…

Great Hostel to meet other people. Nice kitchen and common area. Minus point for the outdoor toilette.

Can only say positive things about this hostel, the staff has been amazing and super helpful with everything. Rooms and bathrooms clean, wifi working great and very good included breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

just great, bery clean, great facilities and location. very good breakfast with eggs and cornflakes. good kitchen and comfy rooms with heaters. they play great music and the atmosphere is the best, met lots of friends to hike with.

Good hostel to stay in. Good breakfast provided each day, better than I’ve had at some other Argentine hostels in my trip. Bed was comfortable enough, but was top bunk and not much for privacy. The bedroom was absolutely boiling, however did seem to be slightly cooler the next couple of nights. Staff all really helpful in giving advice and recommendations of places to see, visit and eat at(and not).

Great place to stay. The shower area was the cleanest hostel bathroom I've ever seen. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there was plenty of space in the common area. The only negative I have its that the rooms can get really warm and musty. I visited in the spring so it wasn't super cold, we kept our window open the whole time to get some airflow. I would suggest adding a fan to keep the air feeling fresh. Other than that, great place to stay!
