+ the place is ok, but they gave me a room with a small locker where you can only fit a small backpack. the receptionist told me to leave my lugagge at the baggage room. so I did. I had one big luggage and one carry-on. the carry-on was stolen.
- The hostel said they are not responsible for my luggage. They did NOT help at all. I even told them that my towel was inside the luggage, and they replied that towels cost 3 dollars. My luggage was stolen from their baggage room. They claim they are not responsible for it, and they couldn’t even help by lending me a towel. The maximum they did was request the camera footage to send to the police. Not only that, but they cancelled my stay, saying I didn’t show up, and they kept my money. I was robbed inside their property, and they didn’t even refund me when I said I wouldn’t stay there anymore. After some messages, they offered me 100 euros to “help” me (as if 100 euros would cover what I had inside the luggage). I’ve been waiting for this money because I had to spend more buying new clothes and hygiene products. And then I received this cute message from them: ''We will not send you any money as long as you keep your google review online which states that we did nothing to help you. Which as I might also remind you is not true at all, as we did everything to support you and also offer you 100 € compensation as a gesture of good will, but only if you delete that google review. Since that has not happened so far we will also not transfer you the money. If you decide to delete that review and send us prove that you did so we will proceed with the transfer.'' I wonder what they mean by “we did everything to support you.” What exactly is “everything”? They didn’t care at all. I got mad because there was no manager available, and the person “in charge” had no idea what to do. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS and good luck staying there.

- 我分开订了两晚，本以为可以连续住，但工作人员说我必须换房间，让我退房后再等到15:00办理入住，我是来旅游的，怎么可能等到15:00入住？？我说我先去美景宫游览，晚上回来再办理入住，但不幸的是我晚上10点之后才回到hostel，没有人帮我办理入住，工作人员甚至没有把房间号码和密码发送给我，所以我应该睡在哪里？睡在厨房吗？你们就是这么对待每一位客人的吗？？还是种族歧视？
- Rooms unclean, damp smelling. Bad location, don't recommend it if you enjoy night life unless you're willing to get a taxi to avoid conflicts

+ We didn't receive any clean sheets, the room had no air conditioning and smelled horrible, the top bunkers were unsafe because there's no railing on protection on the sides and the metal holder of the curtain fell on my friend's head and injured her. There was no staff when we checked in and it took us an hour to figure out where our room was. During the night there was a completely naked man walking inside the hostel during night. The location and the hostel itself was very unsafe. There was someone else's hair on my bed because it wasn't cleaned when we checked in.

- Finalmente la esperoencia mala de parte de hostel que tenía que reclamar a booking y de boking que ya no me hace ni p caso con lo cual no me queda más que aguantarme y perder la reserva sin ser mi culpa pero tengo todas las pruebas

- ЖУТКИЙ И ХУДШИЙ ХОСТЕЛ! Кухонная зона: везде грязь, антисанитария, какие-то мешки и жуткие вещи. В хостеле не соблюдается тишина, на окнах вообще нет штор или тюля, в комнатах вечером горит яркий свет, посетители очень громко общаются и распивают алкоголь. Я попросила заселить меня в комнату к девушкам, но меня заселили к 6 мужчинам. Естественно в ванной комнате срач. В душевой находиться противно. Мне дали кровать с мятой простыней, как будто после предыдущего посетителя не было уборки. Постельное белье как будто у бомжей взяли, очень неприятное и старое. Я обратилась на ресепшен с вопросом почему мне дали грязную кровать, но мне девушка на ресепшен ответила что она не контролирует чистоту и готовность кровати к заезду посетителя. Ужас!!!

Good, clean, quiet,decent price and smooth. Only thing that was a bit off that it was not social. Other than that everything was perfect
Had no issues staying at this hostel. Good location close to the metro, clean beds and showers. The pub crawl event was a lot of fun.
The hostel had a few strong points but also some frustrating ones. The double-door security made me feel safe, and I liked the blackout curtain around the bed for privacy. The shower was very nice, although without a fan it got steamy fast. The mattress was very springy, and my sheets had visible stains. My biggest issue was checkout- officially it was 10 a.m., but staff came in stripping beds around 9:20, which made it feel like you had to leave early. Also, upper bunks had no railings.

Great facilities and the bed was comfortable.
This hostel was a great place as long as you’re not looking for something super social. If you’re just needing a bed and a kitchen then this place will be good but the vibes were just a bit weird and no one was talking to eachother (some music in the kitchen to break the silence would have been nice). But yea, it’s very close to a vegetable market and lots of grocery stores and the train station so very easy to get into the city center.

I had a great stay at this hostel! Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was very friendly. The staff was always helpful and gave great recommendations. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed. It was also easy to meet other travelers. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Not a lively hostel, more chill. Not the place you go to make friends. Clean and for most part private. Some odd balls we’re staying there. Get what you pay for.
This was genuinely a good hostel and I would recommend it in Vienna. Nice kitchen, friendly staff, comfortable beds with curtains and good social atmosphere
The hostel is very pretty and the rooms are very nice and everything is very confortable. Nevertheless, we had a lot of problems with the shower. There was almost no hot water and that was the only thing that i would say it's important to improve. On the other hand, the kitchen is very nice and very complete. The hostel has an inside yard that's also nice to be around. The location is a little bit far away from the center but you have a lot of options to get there easly near by. I recommend.
Very good place to stay. I'll come back because I feel safe and peaceful. I think the shower could be more hot, It's winter!!! Staff very helpull and friendly. Need more atmosphere for sure. Good value for money.
Simple but good hostel. Friendly staff, one of the few with courtains in Vienna and shower+bathroom was clean enough especially considering the great price. Would def stay there again
Staff really lovely and helpful. Located in a great area if you like to stay out of the more touristy area. Great local gems around. Relatively clean and good facilities. The bed was relatively comfy too. All in all a pleasant stay.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich sofort, wenn man einen Wunsch hat. Ich konnte überraschendenderweise gut schlafen, auch, wenn ich Bedenken hatte mit 5 wildfremden Personen in einem Raum zu schlafen. Hat sich eher angefühlt wie ein Mädelsleepover. Ich hätte mich über etwas mehr Sauberkeit in der Küche und im Bad gewünscht. Die Kommunikation per Email mit dem Hostel war super easy und schnell. Danke :)
The staff is very friendly and take care of you immediately if you have a request. I was able to sleep surprisingly well, even though I was hesitant to sleep with 5 strangers in a room. It felt more like a girls' sleepover. I would have liked a little more cleanliness in the kitchen and bathroom. The communication via email with the hostel was super easy and fast. Danke :)
Ich fand das Hostel sehr klebrig und dreckig. Die Dusche hat geschimmelt, das Waschbecken war dreckig und auf dem Vorhang von meinem Bett hatte einen Blutfleck. Ich habe gefragt ob der Vorhang ausgetauscht werden könnte. Dies wurde mir versprochen aber leider nicht umgesetzt. Der Locker unter meinem Bett war defekt. Die Küche war leider total klebrig und ekelig. Und leider hab ich mich draußen in eurem Innenhof sehr unwohl gefühlt weils total dunkel war. Ich komme nicht wieder. Leide...
I found the hostel very sticky and dirty. The shower was moldy, the sink was dirty and there was a blood stain on the curtain of my bed. I asked if the curtain could be replaced. This was promised to me but unfortunately not kept. The locker under my bed was broken. The kitchen was unfortunately totally sticky and nasty. And unfortunately I felt very uncomfortable outside in your courtyard because it was totally dark. I won't be back. Unfortunately.
Stadtaffe est un hostel très agréable. On s'y sent en sécurité. Le personnel est accueillant et disponible en cas de problème. L'établissement et les chambres ainsi que les salles de bains sont propres. Le ménage est fait tous les jours. L'hostel est un petit peu excentré du centre-ville mais il y a un arrêt de métro et de bus à 5 minutes à pied. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
Stadtaffe is a very nice hostel. you feel safe there. the staff is welcoming and available in case of a problem. the establishment and the rooms as well as the bathrooms are clean. the cleaning is done daily. the hostel is a little bit out of the city center but there is a metro and bus stop 5 minutes walk. very good value for money.
