Horrible experience. We meant to stay for four days and left after one. A guy was throwing up in the dorm the whole night, security did nothing. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for women. Very sketchy area and not the cleanest. Would give zero stars if possible. We happily stepped out!

There were many old people, the Bad was very dirty and the Schlafaal very dark.
Worst hostel I have stayed in and I have been travelling for 20 years. No plug socket next to your bed so you have to use one on other side of the where my charger got stolen. No WiFi in dorm, itchy bed, no ventilation in hot rooms, broken toilet seat and extremely loud in the morning from 6am.

DO NOT STEP INN, weird people in the dorms and staff is kinda passive aggressive. Laundry was also 17 euro and they took it for a whole day??

BED BUGS!!!!!! Made my bed and was in it for 20mins and saw one on my duvet and took a pic. Look under the mattress and its dusty, same with the walls. Staff changed my room but I couldn't stop thinking ab it. I got a refund but I had to spend more on a new hostel for the night as I just couldn't sleep there. Staff were lovely to me but shocked they didn't tell the others in my room or check their beds. Roomates didn't speak English and didn't understand the severity. Very bad start to Austria.
Warning: Bed bugs! All hostel can get them, it happens. Problem is here they did not care. For two days they knew about the problem without even cleaning or telling us in the room about it. Disgusting. Also apart from the bugs the hostel is bad, the dorm is badly ventilated, the toilet door has ventilation holes out to the room so you hear everything, and staff is unfriendly. No one seems to care about the place or trying to make it a good one. Can't recommend it less
Don't book. I got off a 20hr train just to be woken up at 1am by the receptionist to a very rude "YOU ARE IN THE WRONG BED". When I showed her my key card it proved I was in the right place, but she still made me go down exhausted af to reception only to find out they had double booked my bed. They forced me into another room the next day, where I found out that the same thing happened to the person under me. I demanded a free breakfast and did get it. eggs are served 8.30 only, not 7.30...
- There are no lockers, and the beds are not lockable as was advertised. Although they have a passcode system on them, when we asked at the reception how to lock the beds, the response was disinterested and we were essentially told they don't work. It appears that they were for show. The hostel did not feel safe at all. During the day we had to use a bicycle lock to chain the handle of the privacy door to the ladder, which still wasn't a perfect fix as the beds are open from the top. During the ...

Good Price but if you want a social hostel this is not it.
No plates, no cutlery. Otherwise great place to stay. Some staff very nice. Some other not enough.

Schlechte Hostel Erfahrung, war wie Obdachlosenunterkunft. Haben zwei mal das Zimmer gewechselt, die Mitarbeiter wirkten genervt. Das Team war sehr jung und wirkte super planlos. Wir haben ein gemischtes Zimmer gebucht, hatten zuvor aber nie schlechte Erfahrung. Im ersten Zimmer war ein Mann mit sehr starkem Körpergeruch. Hatte seine Klamotten in Tüten, die dreckig waren. Hat im Bad seine Wäsche gewaschen und im Zimmer aufgehangen. Dann ein Betrunkener der in der Nacht geschrieben hat.
Bad hostel experience, was like homeless accommodation. Have changed the room twice, the staff are annoying. The team was very young and seemed super planless. We have booked a mixed room, had before but not a bad experience. In the first room was a man with a very strong body odor. Had his clothes in bags, which were dirty. Had his clothes washed in the bathroom and hung in the room. Then a Bedrunkener who wrote in the night.
A pleasant place to stay. The pricing seems a bit high for a hostel, as you could find a reasonably priced hotel with a private room in the same range. That said, the place is very clean and has a well-equipped kitchen for a hostel. The room was nice and comfortable.
Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, Atmosphäre aber komisch. Keine Möglichkeit mit anderen Reisenden ins Gespräch zu kommen und viele Check-ins mitten in der Nacht. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht empfehlen
The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, the atmosphere but funny. no way to talk to other travelers and many check-ins in the middle of the night. breakfast i can not recommend
Les + : auberge excentrée mais proche de tous les transports (train métro tramways). Bon emplacement pour se déplacer dans la ville. 15 min à pied du quartier de Neubau. Des commerces proches. Chambres individue petites mais confortables avec 1 literie au top. Auberge très propre bravo ! Cuisine grande, très bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Les - : couloirs assez sonores donc prévoir des bouchons d'oreilles. Personnel fait bien son travail mais pas très accueillant et chaleureux. Bonn...
+ Les: hostel excentric but close to all transport (train, metro, trams). Good location to get around the city. 15 minutes walk from Neubau district. Shops nearby. Small but comfortable single rooms with 1 bunk on top. Very clean hostel bravo ! Large kitchen, very well equipped and functional. Les - : corridors quite noisy so provide earplugs. Staff does their job well but not very welcoming and warm. Good address

Ostello perfetto, stanze pulite e comode. La cucina perfetta, ordinata, pulita e attrezzatissima. Posizione poco fuori dal centro,raggiungibile velocemente con i mezzi o a piedi. Vicino a Lidl, stazione e fermata bus per aeroporto.
Perfect hostel, clean and comfortable rooms. The perfect kitchen, neat, clean and equipped. Location just outside the center, easily reached by means of transport or on foot. Close to Lidl, bus station and airport stop.

good hostel if just looking for a bed, 2/8 hot plates worked, no power points near beds, showers don’t have brackets in the name of saving water?? (even though the water pressure was very good)
Allgemein sehr solide. Dass Zimmer war etwas sehr dunkel, aber sonst war alles okay.
Dass Zimmer was a little bit very dark, but otherwise everything was fine.
Location is great and super close to the train station. The lockers didn’t work so we had to store our stuff in a different room and there are no outlets near the beds.
Clean and comfortable, but the room was missing a bit of privacy. No wall sockets near every bed. Also, a bit far from the city center.
The rooms have 0 air flow, there was a fan in the room but it was broken I asked 3 times for a new one and no one did anything about it.. in the middle of a heat wave. Didn’t find the staff overly friendly. I also had issues with my card not working everyday. It’s also far away from everything. I personally wouldn’t recommend this place

Sensational hostel great rooms, service and staff
Staff were unfriendly, beds were uncomfortable and noisy, weird smell, near a metro station, free pool table, okay kitchen.
Auberge très accueillante, propre. Je recommande !
