Hostel très calme, bien placé, propre et confortable

Turned uo at the property only to be told that they had cancelled my booking without informing me. From other reviews seems it isnt a one-off. Suggest staying somewhere else if you want to avoid the hassle of scrambling to find last minute accommodation in Pana.

only stayed for one night but i loved my stay! i arrived super late & the owner waited up for me. this hostel felt super safe & welcoming, i felt right at home. property is clean & in a great location for food & other events. please don’t skip over this cute little place!

Cheap and cheerful place to stay especially if passing through. Everyone is lovely but not a hugely social vibe - perfect for recovering / a chill night before your early shuttle

Our stay at Hostal The Friends was an amazing stay to say the least. Manolo, the man who is in in charge of the hostel, was very kind and gave us a ride from the airport for a very good price. He was a sweet and delightful man who clearly cared about the people occupying his rooms. The location was also very convenient as it was quiet, but very close to everything in panajachel. Overall a very good experience and it allowed us to have the best time in panajachel.

They cancel our reservation my a personal email!!! Last minute! At NYE

We arrived at 18:00 after booking a room in a dorm for two nights. Upon arrival we were told they did not have room for us for two nights, as their accommodation is on both airbnb and hostelworld and they were doubly booked. Luckily we were able to stay there for one night at least, however this was a private room and thereby more expensive than the room we originally booked. The accommodation was fine, but the organization definitely needs some improvement as this was very inconvenient for us.

Todo bien, cumple con su función a buen precio. Manolo muy amable.

La ubicación es cerca de la calle principal es en un callejón pero bastante seguro tiene cámaras por todas partes, el lugar muy seguro y tranquilo la señora Rosy muy amable y linda de comparte de sus alimentos. Lo único el papel es demasiado delgado de ahí en fuera todo excelente
