- The photos do not match the room. Our room was tiny and lacked space for luggage. Foul drainage smell in the bathroom, cockroaches, and stray dogs roaming in and out of the rooms. The shared kitchen is extremely dirty, Very loud at night with no effort from management to resolve it. This place is overpriced, misrepresented, and unsanitary. Avoid at all costs.

+ • Limpieza impecable, ¡extremadamente limpio, eso me encantó! • Dueños muy amables que viven ahí; nos llevaron a la ciudad en coche. • Ambiente ideal con naturaleza, animales, selva hermosa y detalles pensados como té, café, repelente y desayuno básico.

- • Las fotos muestran una habitación con piscina privada, accesible solo si pagas específicamente por ella (no para todas). • Ventanas abiertas dejaban entrar bichos, preocupante en ese entorno selvático. • Nos cobraron mucho más de lo acordado (“es el cambio”) de forma muy deshonesta; me sentí estafada y nos quedamos sin saber qué hacer, estropeando toda la estancia. No repetiría pese a lo bonito del lugar.

- Pas du tout de piscine. Paiement obligatoire en cash plus élevé que le prix annoncé. Pas très aimable. Chambre bruyante

+ I liked the kitchen and Jose was very friendly. He allowed us to change room as we did not like the cottage.. molly the dog was very cute. The owner gave us good tips. He also allowed us to use the pool of the luxury cottage hichj looked lovely.. he also allowed us to change room to the aircon room. They were some monkeys in their tree which we fed.

- Our room above their house was too hot and small with no aircon and a noisy fan and a bit smelly. We did not like the fact that ir was opposite a brown field. You need a car to get to them as they are on a hill outside of quepos.

- L’hébergement ne correspond pas à la photo de profil On est attiré par une photo avec piscine alors qu’on a jamais vu une seule fois la piscine et il y a eu régulièrement des coupures de courant Dans les cabanes il manque d’espace pour les sacs de voyage et de rangement pour les vêtements

- Wir für uns können nur sagen das wir die ganzen guten Bewertungen nicht zustimmen können und etwas enttäuscht waren. Das Tiny House war nicht fertig obwohl die Anreisezeit bekannt war. Gerade wegen der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit wäre es schön gewesen wenn die Handtücher gewechselt worden wären. Im Haus riecht es deswegen dann auch sehr muffig. Das Bad ist schon sehr winzig und der Spiegel war auch ein Witz. Wir wussten das es eine einfache Unterkunft ist, bitte nicht missverstehen aber wir waren nicht zufrieden.

+ Aardige host verwelkomt je persoonlijk. Geeft suggesties wat te doen in de buurt.

- De locatie. Erg achteraf. Voordeel is dat het er snachts wel lekker rustig is. Het verblijf was echt benauwd. Ook erg gedateerde en slecht geventileerde badkamer.

+ Les espaces communs permettent de cuisiner et profiter de la terrasse. La cuisine commune est spacieuse et très bien équipée. Le parking est fermé.

- La tiny house qui nous a servi de logement était vraiment spartiate : échelles très raides pour accéder aux lits; aucune vue car trop de proximité avec les autres logements ; salle de bain microscopique et sans aération. Paiement cash uniquement ! C’est trop cher pour ces prestations !

+ The mini house we stayed in was very cute, with a nice patio area, but the inside is very small, with no space to put our suitcases but on the bed upstairs, and nowhere to sit inside.

- The owners feed the Titi monkeys, which is very detrimental to the health and saftey of this already endandered species. I will not return.

- Keine Klimaanlage, nur laute Ventilatoren; nicht alle Fenster lassen sich abdunkeln, selbst direkt neben dem Bett nicht; Bei Regen sehr laut

+ Sehr schöne Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage, ein Mietwagen ist empfehlenswert. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und geben einem Tipps und Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen, Restaurants, etc. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der Außenbereich und die offene Küche. Hervorzuheben ist noch die Sauberkeit der Unterkunft! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! :)

+ O lugar é incrível, queria ter podido ficar mais tempo! Os donos do local sao muito simpáticos, eu adorei tudo.

+ Très bon hôtel, le propriétaire et très gentil, les chambres sont confortables, un petit plus avec les parties communes qui sont très appréciable.

+ El trato de Jorge y Pamela fue expecional y al bungalow en el que nos hospedamos no le faltaba de nada. Todo estaba muy limpio. Nos arrepentimos de no habernos quedado más.

+ Beautiful and peaceful stay close enough but outside of the busy town Quepos. Jorge was super welcoming and helpful with any needs and questions. Very friendly atmosphere, nice to have a kitchen and to awake with coffee and fruit prepared! Thankyou!

+ Cómodo, limpio, y hay monos que bajan a desayunar en la mañana.

+ The hosts could not have been more hospitable. Great facilities and a short drive to Quepos. The property feels immersed in nature - the visits from squirrel monkeys each morning were amazing. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip to CR.

+ Beautiful place with a family-friendly atmosphere, surrounded by nature. We were able to see many animals such as monkeys, macaws, and iguanas. We even saw a baby snake behind our bungalow, which was very beautiful and part of the amazing natural experience.

+ My wife and I just spent 4 nights at Jorge and Pamela's guesthouse Pura Vida. Everything was really awesome! The place is very clean (including the common grounds - garden and kitchen/lounge area) and the rooms nicely decorated. Jorge is detail-oriented and very attentive to his guests, helping out to the extent possible with recommandations, helpful tips, fruits and coffee in the morning... he even gave us a ride. Really goes the extra mile to sincerely please his guests with a friendly smile. A very hospitable host who understands what hospitality really means! Well done.

+ Our room was tidy and we had our own bathroom. Jorge was an excellent host, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and provided us with great local resources that were “off the grid”. The diversity of the other guests afforded us great conversations and entertainment.

- Dislike would be an inaccurate description, however in order to prepare to make and eat breakfast be prepared to get up early.
