Like other recent reviews say…bed bugs Got absolutely feasted on over 3 nights here, staff apologised and sprayed our stuff but didn’t offer a refund or seem to care too much. Overall their attitude the entire stay in regards to bed/cleanliness/laundry was very rude. The atmosphere is good, met some cool people and the location is stunning but unfortunately bed bugs completely ruined the holiday.
The worst hostel I stayed during my whole trip. Far away from everything, the photos in the ads doesn’t show the real rooms from the hostel. The dorms are separeted from the hotel and you need to walk a bit to get there, there is no security, especially if you are a women. There is no sockets for everyone, no locker in the room and no curtains in the beds. You have no privacy in the room. A terrible experience. It’s also really hard to reach public transportation
Found bed bugs in my bed - owner told us we were making it up. Totally understand it’s not great for business however, a simple “sorry girls, we will fix this asap” would have changed the whole situation. Being called a liar wasn’t too fun. Bathrooms were also gross by the evening. Location is far from everything - you have to pay them to drop you up to the bus stop (massive walk up a hill) or you’ll need a car. I’ve stayed in so many hostels and this unfortunately was the worst by a...
Not a great experience here. Two toilets shared between many dorms, very few charging points, and no where to store/lock away any belongings. There was no place to cook/store food and hosts actively discouraged eating your own food. The beach is lovely but the accommodation is very basic for what you pay.
There were bedbugs in our 8 person dorm on multiple beds. No refund given, and the owner Madalena screamed at us. Worst hostel I’ve ever stay at. Nice views but not worth it when there’s bedbugs.
Bedbugs found and the owner refused refund. Extremely bad service. No kitchen or lockers and far away from everything. The view and beach are nice but it is not worth it.
The spot is nice, but not very accessible without a car, the balcony outside is great, and the people working there were nice. However, the rooms were crowded, with no space to put the luggage, the plugs were scarce and I could not charge my phone during the night. The bathrooms were in a really bad shape : unclean, uncomfortable : only one toilet for 5 rooms, showers without a hold for the shower head. The doors from the dorms made a really loud noise. I would advise to pay a better hostel.
Madalena is only driven by the money. The rooms and toilets are FILTHY, the doors are super noisy, some toilets and showers don’t have locks, there is no storage place in the room, you should shotgun a place (if you find any). The beds squeak when you move during the night. The breakfast is okay, but there is sooooo much wasps you can’t eat in peace. + the place is 30 mins down the hill. The view from the place is amazing, it’s a pity that it’s not well maintained and that the service i...
The hostel "shuttle" they offer is never on time and they say it is 15 euros trough email but then demand 35+ because "you came alone". I was also charged full price for a 6 bedroom even though she overbooked and put me in an 8 bedroom. The owner, Madelene, puts on an eerie act each time new guests arrive, taking them into each room asking the other guests what bed is empty and acting all stressed out. ew. No lockers, no internet in the rooms, and sometimes doesn't take card to "pay the workers"
Even though it acts as a welcoming place, nothing but the view over the sea is welcoming about this property. The room was so dark and hot it felt like a cave of some sort. Facilities were dirty, staff tired of you even existing and reluctant to ask or help with anything. Wouldn't stay again, even though I see the potential of the place.

Arrived off season, so it was super calm. Almost everything around was closed. Adivsable to have a car to get here, bus is too much of a hazle.
Stay here is you want some peace and quiet with the ocean! I was here late September and there wasn’t many people staying here to meet. The bunk rooms are a walk up the street from the main building and it’s pretty much metal bunk frames in a room. No curtains or lockers, I’m glad I had my towel to put up for some privacy since it was just me and a man in there (he turned out to be lovely but still). The owners were lovely but more or less treat the place like a personal hangout.
Location was really far away from anything but the beach is really nice at the other end. They charge a lot for facilities such as laundry. No aircon in the rooms. Nice spot looking over the ocean but really on accessible if you have a car or bike
Nice hostel. Small bit far away from everything. Quite expensive to get to and from the hostel if you don’t have a car. Beds were comfy and en suite was nice to have. Nice area outside to eat. Great views onto the water.
The family who run this are lovely and it’s a really beautiful property but it was overshadowed by issues. Many guests found bed bugs, it wasn’t very clean, they don’t have enough keys for everyone so I was locked out of my room multiple times for up to an hour, staff didn’t even have a spare key so I had to wait on other guests returning. The location is pretty inconvenient (1.7km down a steep hill from nearest bus stop) so it was hard to get into town, unless you paid €25 for them to...
Very friendly and kind staff, everyone was helping me with my foot injury, view and terrace amazing, lovely to have breakfast all together there and beach accessible even for me with one injured foot. Big recommend, we enjoyed our stay a lot!
The location is really beautiful, but if you don’t have a car it can be hard to explore much more, but if you talk to them they can drive you to a few places for a price. Everyone there is pretty nice, the food is pretty good and the closeness to the beach is 10/10

Felt like a hotel, everything was clean and I really liked the family. It was very kind that I could give my laundry to do for a fee and I would always come back to that hostel.
We stayed here for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is in a rather remote area and might not be the ideal base to explore the whole island. But for spending a few relaxing days near a beautiful beach that is just 2 minutes away, this is perfect. Our room was simple but sufficient and had air conditioning. Breakfast is simple, however the dinner is great and we had it each evening on the huge terrace with an amazing sunset view. The family that runs the place is super friendly.
I absolutely loved this place! The staff were so friendly and made us feel at home. No complaints about the rooms- they were clean. The location is excellent, the perfect beach was 300m down the hill. The food in the restaurant was delicious and it was all handmade. Thank you so much Sunrock!
It was the best hostel! There is no other way to say
Amazing family run hostel.Atmosphere was very chill and friendly. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us. I would suggest having a car as this location is abit hard to get to on foot, although the people at the hostel are more then happy to help you with transport.
Amazing environment
A very nice place to relax and unwind. The view is breathtaking. There is a bus to Corfu City. The food is very good and also the staff.
