+ We have been asked thousands of questions about our private life, couldn't eat anywhere in the neighbourhood, couldnt move without booking a tuk tuk previously booked by the owner... We decided to leave and booked another hotel. The owner threatened us and charged us 4 nights, under pressure. It's been a total nightmare .
+ I just cannot undestand the good reviews.
- Many things about my experience here made it a non pleasant stay: -I stayed at the "deluxe" double room in January 2024, the only one with it's own bathroom, and the room was not clean at all. Water from the sink was non existant, so I had to brush my teeth in the shower. Hot shower is not working as such, is just a hoze and a bucket you have to use. Ok this is common in India, but it was cold in Bikaner and at least you should let the guests know this situation, not trick them saying the room has hot shower. IT DOESNT. -The walls had big holes so no cold insulation at night and you can hear everything that is going on in the garden. - Breakfast was simply tasteless and overpriced. The morning I was having breakfast next to the owner, found hairs in the food. He saw that on my plate and say: "it's from the cat you know, they are everywhere" (clearly they were human hairs). -I did not find the owner a pleasant person to be around. He doesnt exactly push you to book tours with him, but tries to talk to you and sell you overpriced things. He wanted to charge 6000 rp (like 60/70 euros) for a night on a desert safari, when I found out by myself other places where charging. 3500 rp. - I do not recommend the neighbourhood. The place is located in a rather difficult to find and dark street. For what I payed for this room, there's much cheaper and better In Bikaner

- Rudimentaire. Nous avons regretté de ne pas partager le repas avec la famille (cf. Photos présentées sur booking)
- À l'arrivée l'hôte nous présente la chambre louée : juste un lit de 120-130cm de large et les murs autour, donc il nous propose un plus grand lit mais la chambre est toute petite pour un prix de la moitié en plus. Vu l'heure tardive, on accepte la deuxième chambre. Pas un placard, ni un porte manteau. Toilettes et douche dans le patio où le gérant est en permanence avec ses amis donc pas d'intimité : on s'est passé de douche... Bon repas le soir. Beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à minuit et ça reprend à 5h du matin (klaxons des trains et chants de la mosquée)

- Chambre minuscule attenante à celle de la famille donc très bruyante. Je n'ai quasiment pas fermé l'oeil de la nuit avec Diwali. C'était plutôt désagréable. Le propriétaire est très sympathique mais mes prix des repas sont sur évalués...

+ The owner of the guest house 🏠 is a humble guy.hardworking and good 💯 He arranged my late night pick-up also. For an emergency situation; when prices r sky rocking,this place was handy for non luxury stay as a solo traveller.

The food was especially good and they were very good at catering to a gluten free diet - including one night where they even made us a Bajra Roti. They also organised a tuk tuk driver (Lucky) who lives on the property which was helpful for a train station pickup and tours around the city.
- We couldn't get the hot water from the shower to work so we just ended up having cold showers - the owner said we just had to turn a switch on and wait five minutes, but that didn't seem to work for us. + An amazing home stay with a lovely family. Ahmed is a lovely gentleman who is extremely kind and giving with only the guests health and wellbeing in mind. The property is a lovely home courtyard with homely rooms and a great seating area to chat throughout the day.

+ Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Little Prince homestay. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gepflegt und die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Ausstattung entspricht genau den Bildern. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Gastgeber Ahmed und Lucky. Beide sorgen dafür, dass man sich direkt willkommen und Zuhause fühlt. Ein echtes Highlight ist auch das Essen von Ahmeds Frau. Es ist super lecker und wird immer frisch gekocht. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

+ Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit Familienanschluss. Ein großes Zimmer im indischen Stil und guten sanitären Einrichtungen. Alle gewünschten Informationen gibt es vom Gastgeber. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut Ich kann einen Aufenthalt empfehlen.
No words to describe. Best hospitality ever, the owner is so kind, so helpful and attentive. The food is amazing, his family is lovely. I had a great time there.
+ C'est un petit paradis dans la ville de Bikaner. Ahmed et sa famille sont incroyables ! Les chambres sont bien, la nourriture est excellente, et ils ont un guide disponible pour toutes les activités intéressantes dans la ville. Ils sont venus me chercher à la gare de bus tôt le matin et c'est un plus. Merci à eux je reviendrai avec plaisir et je recommande à tout le monde 🙂
+ Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Ahmed, les repas étaient délicieux. Lucky son employé nous a fait une visite guidée de la vieille ville, il était toujours à nos petits soins
- Environnement bruyant la nuit, de nombreux chiens se chamaillent et aboient toute la nuit
+ AHMED est tres avenant avec ses hôtes. La cuisine est tres bonne en respectant les épices. Tu peux te faire accompagné pour aller faire la visite du quartier ou aller au ATM La chambre est de bonne taille et la salle de bain tres fonctionnel Climatisation ok

+ Ho soggiornato in questa homestay per una notte e nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva. La struttura è semplice, ma accogliente e adatta a chi cerca un ambiente familiare. Il punto di forza è il personale: cordiale, sorridente e sempre disponibile ad aiutare per qualsiasi esigenza. Ci siamo sentiti ben accolti fin dal primo momento. Anche la cena e la colazione sono state buone, con piatti gustosi, preparati dalla moglie del titolare. Un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.
- La stanza era un po’ rumorosa: si sentivano chiaramente le persone parlare fuori, soprattutto la sera. Il materasso un po’ troppo rigido per i miei gusti.

+ 25. FEB.2026 Im kleinen Prinz bei Ahmed und Lack hatten wir eine perfekte Zeit. Schon wenn man von der Straße in den kleinen Innenhof tritt ist klar dass man eine perfekte Oase gefunden hat und die Zimmer haben auch unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Auch das Essen ist gut. Aber das beste ist die Filfsbereitschaft und Herzlichkeit wie in der eigenen Familie. Mein Ladegerät von Cochlear Implantat ging in der Nacht kaputt womit ich taub war. Noch in der Nacht sind sie los und haben tatsächlich Ersatz aufgetrieben, weil Handy Ladegeräte nicht funktionieren. 10 Sterne von uns 3. Robert, Rosi, u. Brigitte.

+ I had a really good relaxing time at Little Prince - it is run by a local family, very friendly and helpful; it is in a quiet spot in the old city, plenty of little markets around the area and walking distance to main attractions. I ate at the guesthouse most times and the food was excellent - fresh and light (even the Indian classics). Decor was mostly brand new and the inner court had a nice area to relax. Bikaner itself was a great place to spend a few days in between trips - it is quiet but has plenty to offer
