Very clean, also good recommendations for services and such. Not a very social hostel and I felt the need for selling tours a bit pushy from the staff. Also, most definetly not that quiet of a location because there is a shop right next to the hostel, where they have a boombox blasting music very loud.

The staff were lovely and the walking tour with the hostel was great! Could do with more bathrooms and the location was a bit far out.

Nice stay! The hostel is a bit old, could upgrade some small things (e.g., towels, curtains), and the area isn't the most central but the staff was absolutely outstanding and everything was always very clean and tidy! Shoutout to the receptionists, really made everything much better.

This was a nice hostel in a quieter location but still a short grab away from the centre. The breakfast was good and the tours offered through the hostel were great. I think the facilities and dorms looked better in the photos than they did in real life but overall I’d recommend.

Really good foody location. Staff couldn’t do more for you and clean rooms. Not a massive communal area but still perfect to explore the city.

Great Personal and Nice Location if you Are into Streetfood! A Bit from the City Center but easy to Go by grap or Walk 20 minutes

Buen hostel, está bien ubicado. El check in demoró un poco porque estaban reparando cosas, entonces eso se hizo un poco molesto para mi ya que venía de un viaje largo y hacía mucho calor. Pero ofrecen todo lo necesario, el desayuno es bueno y en la recepción te ayudan con todo.

The hostel is well located in District 4, quieter, yet still very central, with quick access to District 1. The dorms were clean and free breakfast was provided. The staff was generally friendly, but check-in took quite a long time, with an extended introduction and tour promotion. When I later needed to cancel a booked food tour, getting a refund was unnecessarily difficult and involved repeated attempts to persuade me otherwise. I did not appreciate this behavior.

A genuinely wonderful stay here to start my trip in vietnam. Bryan and Chloe were just the most helpful, delightful people with excellent tips to explore the surrounding area. Exploring the city at night with the walking street food tour was an awesome intro into vietnamese cuisine and also a lovely way to get to know some other travellers from the hostel. the Cu Chi tunnel tour was also fantastic if a little sweaty! Many thanks for a wonderful stay :)

One of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at so far! Really clean and nice interior. The staff was incredibly nice, always had good recommendations on where to eat. Also did two of their offered tours, which I really enjoyed. I was a bit worried about the location (because it’s not directly in the city center) but it ended up being so nice, because the area is more quiet and local!

Lovely little hotel with a friendly family atmosphere. I arrived at 3am and they were ready and waiting for me. Staff give lots of tips and info for the local area. I loved chatting with Minh about some Vietnamese history.

The owners, are amazinggggg the facility very well kept and the location is perfect. I absolutely adore everyone who works here they have been so helpful. The beds are very comfortable as well and you can book tours through the hostel! They also have events with the sister hostel that are great for meeting people. Would definitely stay here again and have extended 2 times

I had such an amazing experience at this hostel, everyone who worked there was incredibly kind and helpful and had amazing recommendations for all over Ho Chi Minh!

The neighborhood is phenomenal, so many local experiences and the owners are amazing. They gave me a crazy amount of recommendations and there was so much to do. Stayed 3 nights but wanted to stay longer🥲

The team at Saigon Authentic Alley Hostel were fantastic. In particular, thanks to Bryan for welcoming me warmly with some fruit and a drink after I'd had some trouble at the airport. I joined the walking tour through the hostel on my first morning, which was very interesting and was a good way to learn about spots worth visiting. They also booked my tour to the Cu Chi tunnels for me. They have some great recommendations for Vietnamese food. Make sure to check out the pho and banh xeo

Lovely property, great staff and super clean. 20 minute walk to the centre but only a 5 minute grab ride, would definitely recommend for those who want a quieter stay. The hostel also offers plenty of tours and opportunities to meet others. I stayed in the 4 bed dorm which was lovely and spacious.
