Zeus is Loose Hostel

A total disappointment! Was actually in shocked that I was ignored despite am emergency which led to me not being allowed to board my flight. I quickly contact my accommodation as I booked 4 nights on hostelworld and a night directly on their website which they took my money and never responded to my distress and me being unable to board which was out of my control. My flight got canceled due to a worker strike and even though I communicated that I could not make it multiple times they would not refund me at all. For something completely out of my control I would imagine that they could help me out as I communicated before my booking

Terrible atmosphere. Claim that they have activities and a WhatsApp group. On night I was there activity scheduled didn’t happen, the day trips were non existent and there was no effort to create a good atmosphere. No different to a premier inn!

Property is very well located and common rooms are great but there were BEDBUGS in the dorm I slept in. I did report it to the hostal, they changed me to another dorm were i was supposed to be alone but I wasn’t (i asked and they told me they were fully booked which they weren’t as i checked availability on the website) - they offered me 2 laundry pods to clean my bag as a compensation and that was it.

This is one of those massive commercial hostels. When I was there they had a large group booking that took over the common room day and night. The bar is not a hostel bar but full of locals going on dates. Beds a comfortable but don't expect too much sleep if staying on the 5th floor under the common room which is open til 1am without any noise restrictions. Couldn't wait to leave

Don’t even come to Thessaloniki it’s not worth it

I went to a mixed dorm of 4 and I was the only girl. I feel like the staff should be more considerate with that. No social vibe

I got bed bugs here and they told me they weren't bed bugs can't figure out how to add photos but I looked like the wiki of bed bug bites, aside from that was a good hostel

Bad choice, but fine for a night or two. Zero atmosphere without hard work. The common room looks nice but is such an echoey box that no one can speak or make a sound without everyone else hearing. There were no spoons in the kitchen and my food got stolen from the fridge. Had unnecessary problems with one receptionist which was highly annoying and despiriting. There was no water for nearly a whole day, and the wifi was offline twice. The cleaners are the only star performers here.

hostel is in a really nice area, clean, beds are very comfy and it's quiet. I felt as though there was no social aspect to this hostel- if you are looking for that maybe avoid. If you want a relaxing city break it's perfect. The roof top bar is nice with good views.

This hostel deserves all the best. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and common areas. Also Sasa is very nice person :) Overall, I appreciated for everything.

One of the best hostels, I have ever ever stayed. The location-in the heart of the downtown of Thessaloniki.

Very clean hostel and good position! It is the kind of hostel which seems more like a hotel, so don’t expect a super social environment. Staff is very welcoming, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious. The bar on the 7th was nice but it’s kinda fancy and mainly locals hanging out there, reducing the hostel vibes. Anyway I highly recommend for a chill and calm stay in Thessaloniki :)

I had a nice stay at Zeus is Loose. The location is top notch, breakie is awesome, and it’s a lovely place to relax. I didn’t find it very social, ngl! But I’d recommend it for sure.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are very well thought out and tidy. The vibe is excellent and everyone is super friendly. It even has a bar with a great view, where you can meet friendly locals or travellers. Will be recommending this to all my friends who ever come to Thessaloniki.

Super central hostel, nice rooftop bar, and it was pretty clean. For a 7 floors hostel the kitchen and common areas are a bit on the smaller size. Curtains for privacy in the bed are always great to find.

This was probably one of the best hostels’ I’ve ever stayed at super clean. Staff were super friendly and I’m going to stay again. Great atmosphere and great prices.

Amazing experience

I only stayed here one night, but I can see it's a really great hostel. The staff are super professional, the female dorm was very comfortable, with good mattresses, curtains, ensuite toilet and shower. The common room is a beautiful bright space where you can easily meet other travellers, the location is perfect too. The only (tiny) thing I had an issue with is that on the top bunk there isn't really a barrier, so it could be dangerous if you move around a lot in your sleep. If I was staying lo...

Centrally located, helpful staff, shared a 4 bed dorm, a little crowded, but that's to be expected.

During my stay, I was quite shocked by the behavior of a group of young French-speaking guests (who seemed to be mostly from Belgium). I overheard one of them openly stating — more than once — that he was antisemitic. These comments were made in the common area without much discretion.As someone who understands French, I found this deeply disturbing.
