Disorganised and staff were very unhelpful. No atmosphere or activities for guests. Plenty of other surf camps in Sagres around the same cost that are much better
I spent two nights in Sagres and I want to say that my experience does not define surfcamp:) I booked this hostel since many travelers have enjoyed their stay here. As for me, it was not the case. Wakened in the middle of the night by my roommate who vomited everywhere, for several hours, and scared by a completely drunk man, lying on the floor in the communal showers. I did not feel safe. The next day, the receptionist fired the man in question.
the kitchen and bathrooms are dirty, they need a deep clean. there are more families than solo travellers so it was difficult to meet other people up for making friends. the surfing is very expensive which we didnt want to pay €75 for. it felt like the staff didnt want to help us surf independently as we weren't paying the 75€, only €20 for rental
Nice place Also Mosquitoes even in the winter - there are no nets in the windows. big kitchen!
I was in the Hostel for only three nights, so I can not say much about the atmosphere. Maria and other staff were very friendly and helpful with all my requests. I felt comfortable and safe in this hostel especially traveling alone. The location is good, calm and everything easy reachable by foot. I will for sure come back!! Thank you for everything
The place was nice really spacious and a big area to chill with rooftop if u r surfing/do not take breakfast for 10€, the kitchen is not really well equipped there is no toaster etc. but if you going for surfing having breakfast incl. its great I believe :) however my room was on the groundfloor and I did not feel secure I felt anybody could go on the territory easily at night and I was alone in my room as female solo traveller it felt a bit weird...
I loved my stay there. Nice house, big kitchen, big common area, that's what I loved. The bathroom was not the cleanest but it was okay. I think the surf lesson is really expensive for what you get. But I would have been happy if I could stay longer.
Really liked this hostel. Rooms were airy and clean with windows, really appreciated the full size lockers with multiple shelves. The common area was well set-up and spacious, easy to meet people. Main issue was with noise and lack of airflow - a fan in each room would have made a huge difference. The noise from the staff woke us up early every morning since we were facing staff quarters - not great.
One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Staff is super friendly and vibe is great. The room and common spaces were spacious, and great to chill or meet people. Extended my stay twice while being there. Would definitely come back.
Great place, amazing vibes! Definitely recommend 🤙🏽

Chill vibes and friendly staff! I had a great time at the camp :)
So underrated. Really chill but also social and friendly, including both residents and staff. My fave hostel yet! Surf lessons are a little pricey but definitely worth doing at least once. A big bonus: there’s many cute cats that hang around the property
Great family vibe hostel. Bernardo was an amazing surf instructor. Great vibes and facilities, highly recommend
La camera era spaziosa, i letti comodi, i bagni puliti. La cucina pulita e il leaving room con molte amache per rilassarsi. Ricordava un pochino un resort caraibico.
The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, the kitchen was clean and there was room for many people to relax, which reminded me a little of a Caribbean resort.
Staff are excellent and great value for your money. Plenty of good restaurants and nice beaches nearby.

Amazing hostel with amazing staff!
Really nice hostel! Best surf lesson I ever had!
Great experience. There's a very inclusive, social atmosphere. A perfect place if you are looking to meet new people. The surf instructors are friendly, reliable and helpful. And the breakfast is delicious.
the hostel is so fun! it’s spacious, clean, walking distance from surf spots and has the best staff :) the beds are comfortable and the living room to hang out is well equipped! we loved our time here, definitely made some amazing friends and will be returning soon!
