Endroit bruyant. Les portent sont claquées constamment, déplacement avec un pas très lourd. Mon lit vibrait à chaque coups de portes. Pas moyen de dormir correctement. Fin des claquements/ bruits vers 23h30 et reprise vers 7h30 am. J’y suis rester 3 nuits. Point positif, endroit propre et le Monsieur de l’accueil sympa. Il conseille bien pour le séjour. Bien placé.
Noisy place. The portents are constantly slammed, moving with a very heavy step. My bed vibrated at every knock on the door. No way to sleep properly. End of slamming/noises around 11:30 and resume around 7:30 am. I'm staying 3 nights. Positive point, clean place and the friendly host. He advises well for the stay. Well placed.
Very nice lady who welcomed us. Clean private room & bathrooms. Super location. Beds & pillows are extremely uncomfortable (and we have traveled for years in hostels..). Floor with rooms is very noisy too.
It was good for a last minute booking during a very busy time. Very central right over the busy pixtos street. Good for travelers who are not fussy and dont have huge suitcases.
It was quaint, but tight quarters, bathroom/ shower, 2 on our floor, very clean and uncramped, the proprietor was attentive & helpful, and the locale was great.
La chambre et les sanitaires sont très propres . La chambre est situé au dessus de bar a tapas dàs le vieux san seb d où le bruit surtout le soir du réveillon mais ceci on le savait avant de louer. Sinon les autres nuit nous avons tres bien dormi. Le propriétaire très sympathique et a pris le temps de nous recommander des endroits sympa. Je recommande vivement!
The room and the toilets are very clean. the room is located above the tapas bar in the old san seb d where the noise is mostly on new year's eve but this we knew before renting. otherwise the other nights we have slept very well. the owner is very friendly and took the time to recommend nice places. i highly recommend!
Da sottolineare la pulizia dei bagni in comune. Camere semplici ma con tutto il necessario. Molto rumore durante la notte, le finestre sono isolanti e tamponano, ma si trova in una strada super centrale quindi ci sta.
To emphasize the cleanliness of the communal bathrooms. simple cameras but with everything necessary. very noisy during the night, the windows are insulating and buffered, but it is located in a super central street so stay there.

Pasamos un excelente fin de semana. Josean es un anfitrión muy amigable y nos dio muchos consejos para descubrir la ciudad , sus bares y restaurantes. La pensión tiene una ubicación perfecta en el pleno centro histórico de la ciudad, nuestra habitación así como los espacios comunes están muy limpios y cómodos. Definitivamente volveremos ! Y muchas gracias a Josean por todos sus consejos 😉
We had an excellent weekend. Josean is a very friendly host and gave us many tips to discover the city, its bars and restaurants. the guest house has a perfect location in the heart of the historic city center, our room as well as the common areas are very clean and comfortable. we will definitely come back ! and many thanks to Josean for all his tips 😉

The location is drop dead in the center of old town, surrounded by amazing food and atmosphere. Jose is the man, who takes very good care of the people staying there. I loved my time in San Sebastián. Sincerely Torped
Jose is a true gentleman who runs a tight ship. A wonderful host. The room was a bargain, very clean. There’s two shared bathrooms that are very clean. Even though it was shared, I never had to wait to use the bathrooms. It’s very quiet, even though it’s right in the middle of the restaurant and bars. I really don’t have any complaints. Wonderful spot and I would absolutely stay there again.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway in San Sebastian. The owner was very hospitable and answered all of our questions. The price was great for the location and the spacious room. It included everything we needed and was accurate to the listing!
Very Nice location right in the center of San Sebastián. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, facilities all very clean. Only slightly negative aspect was the small room. Other than that would recommend!

Muy buen lugar para alojarse. Nos encantó, estuvimos 2 noches y nos habría gustado quedarnos más. Baños impecables, con ducha caliente y buena presión. Habitaciones limpias, con sabanas y cubre cama impecables y con opciones de frasadas para el frío. Buen espacio. Ubicación inigualable, cerca de todo. El dueño un 10, nos mostró que hacer en San Sebastian y Bilbao, muy atento y preocupado de que todo esté en orden. Volveré si o si.
Very good place to stay. we loved it, we stayed 2 nights and we would have liked to stay longer. impeccable bathrooms, with hot shower and good pressure. clean rooms, with saunas and bed covers impeccable and with options of frosting for the cold. good space. unparalleled location, close to everything. the owner a 10, showed us what to do in San Sebastian and Bilbao, very attentive and concerned that everything is in order. i will be back yes or no.

Our stay at Pension Bretxa was truly wonderful. The host was very kind, provided great recommendations, and even let us leave our bags after check out so we could explore some more before departing. Would highly recommend for location and value.

My girlfriend and I have been traveling Europe for about a month now and this is one of our favourite places. The host was very friendly and funny and everything was very clean. Location couldn't be better. Id recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time in San Sebastian.
I stayed here for ~4 nights and had a wonderful time. The staff here do an awesome job of not only keeping the facilities/rooms extremely clean, but also ensuring you have a good time in the city. In particular, Joséan deserves all the praise in the world. When I arrived, he spent over 30 minutes telling me about the city and provided numerous points of interest (e.g., restaurants, hikes). I do recommend earplugs as the stay is in one of the busiest parts of San Sebastian.
This hostel was so clean I sat on the toilet when I peed. Beds were comfortable and location was perfect. The owner Jose is great as well. Towels are provided and he even gave me a beach towel. That said, it’s more of a hotel than a hostel as there’s no common area, so I didn’t really meet anyone.
