Milingona City Centre

We had pre-booked a private room a month in advance. When we arrived they tried to charge us the same amount for a much lower quality room. We pointed out the error and they gave us a partial refund for the night and promised to move us to the right room the next day. The next day when we went to move rooms they said it was occupied. Awful service, they didn’t even provide recommendations or help finding alternate accommodations. Heard from others this happens often. Book at your own risk..

I stayed in the room with double bed and it was terrible, in general, and for the price which is of a good hotel room. The toilet, shower and bed were filthy as if few people were stayed there before and it was not cleaned. There were additional issues but this was enough to make the stay terrible.

The staff were really really nice and friendly. But the room itself was below my expectations. There was no aircon, which is far enough, but they provided us with an old rusty fan which did not even turn. So only half of the people in the dorm got the benefit of it, yet the noice prevented me from sleeping all night long. No traditional lockers in the room that are available for each person (there were 3 in a 6 pax dorm). Location - at night it was no comfortable for me to walk by myself.

Despite not being mentioned, the rooms on the lower floor are dirty, the beds are old and unsafe, and there are no windows in the room. The Wi-Fi doesn't work. When I said I wanted to change the hostel because of these issues, their response was that I still had to pay. After arguing , they gave me a room on the upper floor. Money oriented …

Had bites on my legs and found a bed bug in my mattress after one night. The owner did not take it seriously. At my repeated insistence he gave me a cash refund, but told me that I complained too much and compared my situation to a girl who had complained because an older man in the room had tried to kiss her (he gave that man a fist bump in front of me). Visibly dirty rooms and bathrooms, dirt on the walls and mold in the showers. Volunteers were nice but staff/owner was beyond rude and unsafe.

bad smell, no clean room

I was given a cut in half sheet for a blanket (was about the width of my body) & had to have cold showers as they run off solar power. Went to check out & was charged a late check in fee and an “inconvenience” fee… when questioning these we were told it’s bc of the late check in (11pm) & staff had to stay up especially for us, however they all went to bed at around 1am… the owner rudely told us we could find the info on the website which it wasn’t.

i'm honestly not sure how this place got such good reviews, i assume from the social environment and friendly staff. the rooms were muggy and gross, our room did not have AC as stated either. bathrooms are... they are functioning. i also paid $7 for laundry and my clothes came out smelling moldy and gross. i also left 1 day early because the property was so bad.

Warning!! Im sure how this hostel has such a high rating. Very disappointed with the overall cleanliness and facilities. Most of the time there is no water available at all. The showers often cut out after 30 seconds. The 12 bed mixed dorm is much worse than then other rooms, feeling like a dungeon. The mattresses are arranged head to toe with no separation. There is also no lockable storage!! The room doors also do not have locks so anyone is able to access the rooms.

Great stay overall - very helpful staff and beautifully decorated place with a nice atmosphere. A few improvements: add a floor wiper in the bathrooms, more hooks for clothes/towels, and a holder for the shower head. A bonfire area and a small quiet prayer/meditation corner would also be a nice touch. Slightly pricey, but overall a lovely stay.

A Perfect 10/10 Stay! My stay here was absolutely flawless. This hostel excels in every area that matters: · Comfortable Bed: I slept amazingly well in a clean and cozy bed. · Impeccably Clean: The entire hostel, from the dorms to the bathrooms, was spotless. · Ideal Location: It's perfectly situated in a safe and convenient area. · Wonderful Staff: The team was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help. I will 100% be staying here again and would recommend it to any traveler.

Esta hostal estaba muy buena..estuvimos solo 1 noche, pero fueron todos amables, salía aguita calentita de la ducha, el desayuno bueno, y en general había un ambiente muy tranquilo. Perfecto

I wasn’t a fan of this hostel. The room smelt funny and the bathroom felt dirty. The kitchen was well equipped. Vibe of the hostel was very free spirited / bohemian.

The place is really good located, inside is really cool, but what makes the difference is the staff. 10/10

The dorms were generally okay, but the smell was noticeable. We were aware beforehand that there was no air conditioning, but the air felt very stagnant. Providing a fan would have greatly improved the ventilation and overall comfort of the space.

Staff were inattentive/ unbothered and rarely at or around reception despite it being 24 hours. There was no breakfast ready at 8:30 which meant I couldn’t have breakfast because I had to catch a flight. Top bunk could have done with curtains. Bathrooms weren’t very clean and smelt like wee. (I was only there for a night tho so may have just gone on a bad day).

I got more than expected.

Está bien, pero lejos de la puntuación de 9,6 que tiene. Las camas son de espuma (se siente la madera), hay olor a humedad, no hay tantos baños. El personal es muy buena onda eso sí, buen ambiente, está bueno si viajas solo.

Messaged the hostel that my bus was delayed but I was still going to be checking in. When I arrived no one answered the door to let me in. I was greeted by a guest who saw me stranded outside and then checked in by a member of staff who was not supposed to be on shift. My private ensuite room was double booked and given to someone else even though I confirmed was arriving later. When paying the staff member was going to charge me the price of my private room even though I ended up in a dorm.

Here you will feel completly relax and quiet, the perfect atmosphere for travellers, the staff is very friendly, they treat to you like in your home, breakfast is very varied and healthy, everything is clean and tidy, this is a real hostel believe me almost 10 points x me
