Tam Coc lake view Homestay

+ It’s close to the centre

- We had room 110, it smelled of humidity when entering. Lower part of the walls the paint was puffy. Bed was uncomfortable. The duvet was ripped. Room generally not prepared, had only one towel and no soap no shampoo. The curtains do not block the light. There is a glass above the room door that lets all the light in from the corridor, if you need a dark room to sleep, good luck. Zero sound insulation. Could hear everything from corrido to the lobby to the car passing the street. Wifi really bad. Why on earth does this place have such a high rating?

+ The location is close to downtown of Tam CoIc and we can rent bikes or 10 minutes walk. It is very close to Tam Coc boat ride.

- The road is quite small, only one car street. It's hard for our 16-seat car to maneuver in this alley. Rooms are not clean, especially the bathrooms. Rooms are not insulated, and the blankets are very thin for winter. Duvets are not clean, and beds are very hard. I felt like sleeping on the boxspring instead of a regular bed. I would not sleep all night on this bed. Breakfast is not good. I'll not stay here again unless there are big improvements.

- Номер был не готов к нашему приезду.Заехали мы в 11 вечера. Пришлось уставшим сидеть ждать Уборка в номере оставляет желать лучшего

+ Ubicación perfecta y bungalow con mucho espacio.

- El personal tiene todo muy desorganizado y da la sensación de suciedad, van un poco a su bola y muchas veces no están en la recepción, haciendo que no encuentres a quien hacerle preguntas. Al llegar pedimos si tenían bicis para dejarnos, nos comentaron que si, que podíamos usarlas cuando necesitáramos (tenían muchas aparcadas a disposición de los clientes). Sorpresa la nuestra que al hacer el check out nos comentó que había que pagar el alquiler de las bicis, nos cobró 100.000 dongs por usarlas 2 veces, y eso que según ella nos hizo un descuento…. No me quejo del precio, me quejo de que no te informan y luego te cobran extras. Teniendo en cuenta que las bicis no se encuentran en el mejor estado, y que en Tam Coc necesitas bici para desplazarte a muchos sitios, no nos gustó que nos cobrara sin previo aviso.

+ La cercanía, la posibilidad de alquilar la moto en el negocio de al lado y el desayuno estaba bueno. La encargada nos dejó dejar las maletas durante el día.

- La limpieza deja mucho que desear, sobre todo en el baño. Nos encontramos un par de cucarachas en la habitación. La limpieza en general del hotel tanto fuera de la habitación como dentro es bastante mejorable

+ La vista sul lago è molto bella, soprattutto la sera quando non ti passano tutti davanti. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile.

- La pulizia, la camera era molto sporca, ragnatele ovunque anche in bagno con ragni annessi. Lenzuola e asciugamani davano la sensazione di non essere puliti. Spostando un tavolino abbiamo trovato di tutto. Nel frigo, spento, c’era una busta con del prosciutto andato male che puzzava. Zona colazione, il tavolo era sporco dai clienti prima e per terra non veniva pulito da non so quanto. Peccato perché la struttura in sé è molto bella.

- -the bathroom was not cleaned -we had a cockroach in the bad on the secound day -in the fridge was mold -the rice lamps on the roof were coverd with mold -the towel in front of the shower had also mold

+ This family run Homestay is located on the shores of the lake. It has a small pool and bicycles are available to explore the area.

- Cleaning doesn’t seem to take a priority.

+ La localisation au bord du lac et le calme sont deux beaux atouts, la taille des bungalows aussi. Clim non bruyante , douche bien chaude. Gentillesse de l’hôte.

- Le petit dej - pas très clair de savoir ce qu’on va avoir exactement / tout ce qui est indiqué n’est pas dans l’assiette) - qq détails dans le bungalow aussi : les shampoing et gel douche étaient vides ( on a demandé et on a eu) et le réfrigérateur ne marchait pas.

+ Sehr liebe Besitzer. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Unkompliziertheit und Grosszügigkeit haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön, hat alles was man braucht und die Leute hier sind sehr sympathisch. Der Gastgeber Toni hat uns sofort Empfehlungen gegeben und uns seine Hilfe angeboten. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

+ Direkt am schönen See, ruhig und dennoch schnell im Zentrum. Freundliches Personal.

+ Great location, 2min walk into town but away from all husle and great value. Very peaceful and sitting out by the water for breakfast was so chilled. Would recommend. Family very friendly.

- Not really a dislike but it took a long time to respond to emails.

+ Logement autour du lac, à l'opposé du centre-ville quasiment (8 minutes de marche à peine). Donc calme assuré. Quiétude aussi car très reposant et moins de passage qu'ailleurs. Chambre spacieuse et glablement propre (dommage pour le lait moisi resté au frigo et passé sous le radar du personnel je présume). Personnel très avenant et sympa. Prêt gratuit de vélo. Piscine un peu houleuse et n'invitant pas à la baignade. Petit déjeuner très correct.

+ Die Lage direkt am See war traumhaft. Frühstück gibt es direkt am See. Die Stimmung am Morgen ist idyllisch.

- Mein Zimmer wurde leider tagsüber nicht gemacht. Das war schade. Der Pool war etwas grünlich, so dass ich mich nicht traute ihn zu nutzen.

+ Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft in einer Top Lage. Personal sehr freundlich.

+ Great staff very friendly. Accommodation was very nice and nice bathroom. Breakfast very good too!

+ Room was really nice and clean. Really modern facilities with good hot shower. The pool outside was nice, although we didnt end up using it as we were busy exploring Tam Coc/Ninh Binh. The family were lovely and so welcoming. Always wanted to help. We hired bicycles for 50k for a day, and we hired a moped for 120k per day. We ate dinner on our first night which was nice and they had cheap beers too! The lake view is very beautiful and you're in walking distance of tam coc village. I would recommend hiring a moped to explore past that as getting taxis everywhere can get expensive as everything is 20-30mins drive from tam coc like trang an boat cruise, bai dinh pagoda, ninh binh city etc. The hosts also offer to clean the room daily if you like. The breakfast included was also a great way to start the day. Coffee each or some freshly squeezed orange juice, and we had egg banh mi most mornings. The bread was lovely and warm/crispy. This homestay is excellent value for money! Highly recommend

+ Perfect location, friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast

+ This homestay was perfect! The location was amazing, right on the lake but a bit out of the chaos of the centre of Tam Coc. The host was very helpful with everything and available when we had questions. The bungalows are super cute, spacious and comfy. Breakfast was nice, you can have it right on the side of the lake and relax while enjoying the view of the small boats passing by. Overall, it was an amazing stay!
