- llegue al lugar, no estaba señalado puesto que es dentro de un pasaje comercial, no sabia donde era, llame varias veces y no contestaban, cortaban. no logre comunicarme y me fui. me explicaron que en ese momento estaban haciendo aseo, pues debe haber siempre una persona a cargo del teléfono
i can't really recommend the hostel. had some problems and when i had to pay 3500 for storing my luggage i had enough.
Para ser honestos, el Hostel estaba bien. Buenas instalaciones, equipamiento y ubicación. Sin embargo, tengo que ponerles un 1 porque cuando llegamos nos atendió un chico (que está a la mañana) muy maleducado que nos cobró ILEGALMENTE de más. En chile se devuelve POR LEY el IVA al extranjero. Me pasó en cada lugar que estuve. Sin embargo, a pesar de mostrarle el texto de la ley chilena, se reuso a descontarnos eso y nos dijo "si no les gusta pueden alquilar otro lugar". Un gil.
To be honest, the Hostel was fine. Good facilities, equipment and location. However, I have to give them a 1 because when we arrived we were served by a very rude guy (who is in the morning) who charged us ILLEGALLY over. In Chile VAT is returned by law to the foreign country. I passed it in every place I was. However, despite showing him the text of the Chilean law, he failed to discount us that and said "if you don't like it you can rent another place". A gil.
Notre séjour à Columba hostel nous a fortement déplu, le personnel ne fait pas d’efforts pour être compris et ne prends pas en compte le bien être des clients. De nombreuses personnes ne faisant pas partie de l’hôtel squattait l’hostel, nous réveillant le matin en parlant fort dans les couloirs. Le chien du personnel fais ses besoins sur un tapis posé dans le couloir. Il n’y a aucune ambiance. Je déconseille fortement l’hostel
Our stay at Columba hostel was very unpleasant, the staff did not make any effort to be understood and did not take into account the well-being of the guests. many people outside the hotel squatted in the hostel, waking us up in the morning talking loudly in the hallways. the staff dog does his toilet on a carpet set in the hallway. there is no ambiance. I strongly discourage the hostel.
Mal organizado reserve una habitación y el dia del viaje me cancelan la reserva porque no tenían disponibilidad y mo me resuelven el pago de la reserva

- El ruido, era imposible dormir.
+ La ubicación
- La atención del personal que atendía. Cuando llegamos no nos dijeron qué incluía el hostel y cdo hicimos el check out no nos permitieron dejar nuestras maletas después de las 15 h. Sinceramente, dejaron mucho que desear.
+ Ubicación queda cerca la plaza de viña para realizar trámites o tomar locomoción . Las habitaciones son cómodas los baños y duchas limpios y también los espacios comunes.
- Los locales que se encuentran afuera del alojamiento meten ruido hasta las 5 o 6 de la mañana. Para las habitaciones que dan hacia la calle es casi imposible dormir. Fines de semana viernes y sábado imposible dormir.. a no ser que tengan el sueño bien pesado o salgan también a divertirse durante la noche.
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Es war viel zu teuer. Zudem wollten wir früh schlafen gehen, was nicht möglich war, da es viel zu laut war. Morgens wurden wir ebenfalls bereits vor 7 Uhr aufgrund von Lärm geweckt.
The price-performance ratio is not right. it was much too expensive. we also wanted to go to bed early, which was not possible because it was much too loud. in the morning we were also woken before 7 am due to noise.
El propietario no quería recibir dólares para pagar la estadia y exigía pesos chilenos Y cdo fui a cambiar a la casa de cambio no tenían pesos chilenos por la demanda de billetes que hubo ese finde largo y el dueño me trató de mentirosa cdo le expliqué que no conseguí billetes chilenos No me gustó la habitación que nos dieron sin ventana y muy ruidoso el sector asignado de la habitación
The landlord didn't want to receive dollars to pay for the stay and demanded Chilean pesos And when I went to change at the exchange house they didn't have Chilean pesos because of the demand for tickets that there was that long find and the landlord called me a liar when I explained that I couldn't get Chilean tickets I didn't like the room they gave us without a window and very noisy the assigned sector of the room

Ubicación a minutos caminando de la terminal de buses. Cerca a centros comerciales, parques, restaurantes. A minutos caminando de la estación del metro Viña del Mar.
Location a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Close to shopping centers, parks, restaurants. A few minutes walk from the Viña del Mar metro station.
Muy buen lugar para pasar la noche, el staff muy amable y agradable ambiente, muy confiable y excelente ubicación. Para ir solo, pareja, familia etc. Aceptan mascotas y niñ@s en piezas privadas por seguridad. Los precios son los accesibles de la zona y relación precio-calidad muy bueno, volvería a ir. Ocupamos pieza compartida y todo bien, solo recomiendo llevar candado para asegurar tus cosas en los lockers.
Very good place to spend the night, the staff very friendly and pleasant atmosphere, very reliable and excellent location. For going solo, couple, family etc. They accept pets and children in private rooms for security. The prices are affordable in the area and price-quality ratio very good, would return to go. We occupy shared room and everything is fine, I only recommend bringing a lock to secure your things in the lockers.
Great place with plenty of seating areas, and the staff is excellent. My only complaint is about the beds—they are lumpy, and there are no curtains to provide privacy. I also wish they had female-only rooms.
Fue una bonita experiencia y Lolos chicos de recepción súper amables y dispuestos a ayudar.

WHO let the dogs out? Whoof, whoof?! The first night we were disturbed roughly by the dog barking for 30 minutes straight after midnight. No one was there to silent him. It also barked at everyone. Another night we had staff talking in the hallway loudly, walls are so thin that it was hard to sleep. Private rooms are close to the common area, so it’s hard to find any sleep before 12. The kitchen is well equipped but quite dirty. We cleaned everything before and after using.

Location is the only bad thing along with many kids in the facilities
+ Habilitar algún tendedero para colgar toallas traje baños y esas cosas
- La ubicación de esta instalación es muy céntrica, queda entre ripley y falabella, a unos 50 metros de la plaza de armas y a 2 cuadras del terminal de buses, lo malo es que está ubicado al interior de un pasaje no muy seguro, se vislumbra que fácilmente te podrían hacer una encerrona para robarte, además apenas entras el olor a pipí te lo encargo... ¡horrible!, el suelo quebradizo y embarrado, en sí este pasaje está muy descuidado. Algo positivo es que hay 3 restaurantes buenos y económicos.

only stayed for one night so i can’t form a proper opinion but it was nice enough. dorms were spacious and pretty clean :)

La pasé súper en este hostel recomendado, la limpieza es perfecta, y las voluntarias vittoria y Noe muy amables y simpáticas!!

We loved our stay at the Hostel. it was much cleaner than prior experiences, the staff was nice and welcoming and the dog was cute. we prolonged our stay. thanks a lot and take care. Best wishes Tom & Johanna
It has a nice atmosphere, the cleanliness is okay, overall i would not stay there for more than 2/3 nights.
