The showers on the top floor did not lock. They claimed they were getting locks installed in the next couple of weeks, but what did they expect people to do in the meantime? In order to have a shower in a cubicle that locked, I had to ask reception to buzz me in to another floors bathroom, which meant I was limited to having a shower when reception was manned (which is only a few hours each day). The beds in my 10-person dorm were so close together, the mattresses touched.

The problem is that I didn't sleep with a tenant who got up at 5am and went to bed at 12am and the noise all night in the building is not the hotel's fault.

Die Jugendherberge ist wunderschön gelegen, direkt im Stadtzentrum, Am Fluss in der Fußgänger Zone, direkt in der Innenstadt mit Restaurants, Bars und dem Theater nur wenige Meter entfernt. Die Betten sind gemütlich das Gebäude ist wunderschön und das Personal ist absolut freundlich. Einziger Nachteil ist die Parkmöglichkeiten nur in Parkhaus was aber kostenmäßig nur ca 10 Franken sind.
The Jugendherberge is beautifully located, directly in the city center, Am Fluss in the Fußgänger Zone, directly in the Innenstadt with Restaurants, Bars and the Theater just a few meters away. The Beds are cozy the Building is beautiful and the Staff is absolutely friendly.
Modern hostel and very good location. Good value for money.
