Oxe Hostel

+ We were in our honeymoon and arrived after a long and journey. The property is very remote and requires a drive through the mountains, so reaching it took real effort and anticipation. Initially, the owners were polite and welcoming. However, shortly after arrival, we noticed very large and visible political signs expressing support for Gaza displayed on the property. As Israelis who have lost family members and friends in this devastating war, or other daily ter*or attacks, this was deeply painful. Like most Israeli travelers, we come in peace. We travel to connect, rest, not to bring politics with us. Seeing such a sign made us feel marked, unwelcome, almost like outcasts. Many people outside Israel dont truly understand what daily life is like for us here. My partner and I have personally lived through real danger, including situations involving stabbing attacks, and bus explosions by Jih@dists. You truly wouldn't even understand how it's like for us here.. daily. Living with the constant fear of ter*or simply for being born Jewish is a reality we carry every day. No one should wave political signs at us without basic knowledge about this conflict. Because of this, we decided to leave the hotel after about an hour. We shared how hurt we felt, but received no apology. The owner said "I respect your decision".. and obviously no refund, which we believe would have been the right and humane response. The place itself is okay, but very remote and facilities are a bit outdated, but the view is beautiful. Sadly, the political messaging overshadowed everything. **We wouldnt recommend this hotel to Israeli travelers. Or anyone who believes that tourism should be a neutral and safe space, not a divisive one. It took me a month to decide if I want to write this review, I'm not here dor the "shaming", but I decided to warn other Israelis, and also to express again how we painful it was for us.

+ Le personnel de lhostel était très gentil et l’hostel est très beau !

- Ce n’était pas un hostel social du tout, c’était presque vide et les rares personnes travaillaient sur leurs ordinateurs la journée. Il est aussi un peu loin de tout

+ A vista do lugar é incrível, os anfitriões são simpáticos e atenciosos, o café da manhã é formidável e o quarto é equipado com ármarios, ar condicionado e repelente para mosquitos.

- O vão entre as camas do dormitório é baixo para minha altura. O fato do varal não ter cobertura, dificultou a secagem da toalha e roupas do dia a dia nos períodos de chuva.

+ Café da manhã é ótimo, bem servido! O local não é muito distante da vila, porém, como tem ladeira e a caminhada é na areia, acaba ficando cansativo. O trajeto é um pouco tenso devido ao caminho estreito, sem iluminação e o grande fluxo (dependendo da época) de quadriciclos, ATVs e UTVs.

- Chuveiro caindo pouca água, mas acho que uma limpeza para liberar o fluxo resolveria e o uso do ar condicionado, mas isso é um problema com algumas hóspedes, que em pleno verão,+30 C, preferem dormir no calor e desligam o ar, causando desconforto.

+ Equipe muito simpática e solicita. Café da manhã simples, mas delicioso. Uma paz incrível.

- Todo es bueno nada malo

+ Bela e toda a equipe do hostel são uns amores! Super fofos, receptivos e divertidos. O café da manhã é muuuuito delicioso e caprichado, os quartos são confortáveis e a vista do hostel é belíssima.

+ O lugar é incrível, uma vista sensacional, trazendo uma sensação de paz mesmo. O pessoal que trabalha lá, um amor, super solicitos. O café da manhã sensacional, bem caprichado. Hostel limpo, com poucas camas, sendo assim bem intimista e aconchegante pra quem busca uns dias de respiro e descanso.

- O unico ponto é a ladeira pra ir para as praias, pra descer tudo bem, mas na hora de voltar, se você tem algum problema de saúde como eu, que operei o joelho recentemente, fica meio complicado, mas lá embaixo tem os quadriciclos, onde você paga 20 reais e eles te deixam na porta do hostel, então problema solucionado.

+ Mi sono trovata molto bene in questo hostel a Morerè. Punti di forza sono il bellissimo paesaggio che si gode dalla terrazza di questo hostel situato su un' altura, la colazione superba preparata da Bruno, e la tranquillità che si respira. Le camere sono un pò piccole, ma tutto è nuovo e funzionale, pulitissimo e organizzato bene. Dal paesino di Morerè, con le sue splendide spiagge, si sale a piedi per una erta salita di sabbia, non molto comoda di notte, senza luce e con i quad che passano, però ci si abitua e diventa una piacevole passeggiata. Ci tornerei volentieri!

+ Todo es espectacular, desde las instalaciones y la vista hasta sus anfitriones. El desayuno completo y rico (no se puede elegir, es siempre el mismo y varían las frutas, pero es muy bueno), la ubicación es cómoda, a unos minutos caminando de la playa, la zona es muy tranquila. Ideal para quienes viajamos solas, me sentí muy segura todo el tiempo. Las camas tienen cortina para mejor privacidad.

- Lo único incómodo es la escalera para subir a la cama de arriba de todo, pero cero grave. Volvería a ir mil veces.

+ Bela and Bruno are wonderful and kind hosts. They welcomed me warmly, helped me with any question I would have and made me feel a bit like home on travels. The Hostel is so lovely and nicely decorated, has a stunning view over the woods and you can still get a glimps of the beach and sea from the terrace. The breakfast was wonderful every day, and the beds are comfortable and you have air con in the rooms. The bathrooms have been modern and were super clean. From the hostel it is a 15 min walk to Moreré and is easily accesible by squad taxi from Boipeba village. An overall wonderful experience, I would definitely come back, thank you Bela and Bruno!

- The third level of the bunk bed is very high and has no safety rail.
