Worst place I’ve stayed in my trip!! Don’t go there, staff is rude & they is no night life. They take your passport because « they is no police in Railay » ???? They is also mold everywhere
sooo much mold in my room it was so gross ): then heard a guy complaining about it to reception and the girl at reception then started making fun of him for complaining.. notttt ittt. just don’t stay in the 4 person dorm, heard the others didn’t have this problem. some of the people working were really sweet though! the view is super nice as well. Bathroom was nastyyyyy
I have been to many hostels and dorms. However, this was the worst. The staffs are rude and does not even show the slights empathy. There was someone in my bed and when I asked staff on this they just brushed it off and said that it was not their problem at all. The location is terrible and the flights of staircase up is not convenient at all.
The property was filthy from the bathroom, to pool, to my room. There were unused beds that hadn’t even been remade, mould all in the bathroom, the room smelt, and so much dirt in the pool. They shut the bar and turned off all the lights by 9pm which felt so unwelcoming to people that were just chilling. A cat then came in my room and the staff were so unbothered, saying it will just come out, when it’s jumping from beds and hiding in the lockers. The locker for my bed was also broken.
Blanco has great views but that’s the only positive! The facilities are dirty, the pool had pubes floating in it and all the pool furniture is dirty with red ants that will bite crawling everywhere! The bathroom smelt bad and my bedding was not freshly clean, the towel they provided me was also covered in stains. We had no control of the aircon which meant the room was consistently freezing and the unit was also dripping. Staff were ok but the whole place felt very cliquey and not welcoming.
Only good thing about this hostel was Maria, a rep.
DO NOT STAY-SCAMMY hostel. I couldn't arrive on the day I booked via HostelWorld due to the boat schedule. I immediately emailed, called, and WhatsApped to inform them of this, but all went unanswered. Upon my arrival, a rude volunteer confirmed he saw my email within operating reception hours, yet ignored it. They did not apply my deposit to my stay :( but agreed to waive the first night fee. They wrongfully charged my credit card 24 hours after checkout and refused to refund. Also boring stay
Most expensive hostel I booked in Thailand (because only one available in Railay for this night) but also the dirtiest + least comfort and privacy of all. Beds are super uncomfortable and no curtains. Also quite weird how they won’t let you stay unless you give them your passport to keep for the time, slightly unnerving. Male staff rude at checkout and they gave me change in Sri Lanka currency instead of Thai currency and then refused to swap it saying it was not them
Do not come here. They control the ac in the rooms and they keep it of during all the day hours. The food is in a navy kitchen standard. And the policies of the hostel are not flexible for changes and early cancellation. Never the last that the shower is a joke and you get a weak stream from the shower head.
Dorm rooms are gross, the toilet is in the dorm, in a gross dirty bathroom. The beds are hard, extremely uncomfortable plastic-like mattress. Hostel is so cheap you don’t even get curtains or water 100 steep steps to climb to get there

No issues and would stay again - the stairs to get up to the hostel are a little annoying but not the end of the world! Lovely social area around the pool and bar with a nice view. Room (we had the 4 bed) was nice and decent shower. Was quiet at night to sleep but with social events in the downstairs bar to join.
Excelente estadía. El equipo es súper cálido y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. La ubicación es ideal y el lugar muy limpio, superó mis expectativas. Te hacen sentir como en casa. ¡Muy recomendable!
The Hideout is on a hill so get ready to climb stairs whenever you go to your room. But this offers you great views from the pool and public area. There is a lift for your luggage aswell, so that's a positive. I met nice people, had fun at the partner bar and was able to explore Railay beach from that spot.
It was so amazing!! Quick walk to the beach and a great atmosphere. Very social and fun!
Lovely property, great location. Beds were super uncomfortable and the food was not very good. Staff was not attentive and the receptionist was very rude when I asked if we could slightly turn down the aircon because my friend was sick and freezing in the room. Overall, not a bad experience just expect that you are getting what you pay for.
The beds were horribleeeeee and the showers were smelly, but the pool was cool and so was the rootftoo
Enjoyed my time here. Bed was a little hard but the room was clean and the air con was cranking. Food was not very good but staff were friendly and helpful.

Very social hostel! Great swimming pool and downstairs bar with free pool table. The food from the hostel was really good value
Schönes, lebendiges Hostel mit tollem Pool und Gemeinschaftsbereichen. Dorms ziemlich klein und simpel aber ausreichend. Jedoch nur ein (eher mäßig sauberes) Badezimmer pro Dorm - dafür aber eine schöne Terasse.
Toller Ausblick, schöner Pool und gute Lage. Zimmer sind modern, nur der Poolbereich müsste etwas sauberer gehalten werden.

Lovely staff, they always helped us out. We had a great view from the hostel terrace but you have to earn it by taking to many steps. The bathroom was rotting, I was afraid for my health. Never have I seen something this bad. But all in all, we had a great time there, Railay ist one of the most beautiful places we have ever experienced.
Unreal stay! Very social and party heavy but the bar is down the stairs so if you do want to sleep early you won’t be kept up. Loved the staff and did an amazing boat trip, met so many people here

So nice to have a pool, nice walk from the beach. It’s social if you make it social. Good activities on but also quiet if you want a quiet night. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed my stay. Very social, great vibes and amazing view. Highly recommend the boat party/trip. The only improvements I would suggest is curtains for the beds and hangers in the showers.
