Puerto Nest Hostel

its a shame hostel have become such a business. you pay 32 bucks for a room full of people, 2 shower for 20 people. everything is thought to make money.

The location is perfect, you can walk easily to Puerto de la Cruz and also bus connections are good. The rooms are very small, so there is not much place to put your stuff. The communication before was poor, I’ve booked one night too much and I’ve tried to reach them through phone and email to ask if it was possible to modify the reservation. I’ve never received any answer to this, resulting in paying a night extra. Overall I think the price is pretty high for a hostel.

Das Personal war bis auf eine Person ziemlich einsilbig. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen waren eine Katastrophe. Insgesamt war alles sehr billig und zum Teil ein bisschen lieblos. Hostel-Atmosphäre kam nicht wirklich auf. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ging gar nicht.

Appena sufficiente. Degli ostelli visti finora a Tenerife è quello che giudico più tiepidamente. Servizi mediocri. No cassetta di sicurezza, spazi angusti, se finite al piano di sotto ci sono due bagni per 25 persone. Personale freddino. Scale dei lettini fatte con ferri piccolissimi che ti tagliano il piede. Scale per il secondo piano fatte con materiali non idonei. Esteticamente meno curato degli altri ostelli visti finora. Per una notte va bene. Di più non lo consiglio

Nobody clean up floor and bathroom all times when i stay three days is bad

Verglichen mit den beiden anderen Hostel s,die ich auf Teneriffa bisher kennengelernt habe,war dieses mit Abstand das Schlechteste.Ich würde nicht wieder hinfahren.

Great location and seems like a cool hostel. Unfortunately we had to leave after one night because we found bed bugs in the bed… The staff was not particularly helpful. Overall not very clean and the rooms were very very hot and there were a lot of cockroaches as well (which is probably due to the climate but still).

Pos: - the location is nice, puerto is near - nice rooftop balcony and breakfast Neg: - seems like they want to save money in a lot of areas - sinks and showers have no syphons, so it smelled awful from time to time - had some problems with service, sometimes didn't get an answer or answer was not helpful - quality of service highly depending on employee Neutral: - other guests were pretty loud and reckless, but can't blame hostel for it of course. May just have had bad luck.

Es ist absolut in Ordnung hier zu übernachten. Schöne Lage etc. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre war eher distanziert. Man hatte das Gefühl der Staff bleibt lieber in ihrer Gemeinschaft geschlossen. Es wurde außerdem nur schlecht bis gar nicht Englisch gesprochen.

Das Hostel liegt sehr gut direkt am Meer! Zum Bus kommt man auch schnell. Die Küche ist auch sehr gut ausgestattet und von der Dachterrasse hat man einen tollen Ausblick. Allerdings sind die Schließfächer klein, man kann kein Gepäck drin verstauen, die Zimmer lassen sich nicht abschließen und die Betten sind sehr unbequem und bei kleinen Bewegungen wackelt alles sodass die Person über oder unter einem das auch spürt.

Good hostel in a quieter location, but it doesn't take long to walk into Puerto De La Cruz. The staff were helpful and friendly. I rented a car and used this as my base of operations for exploring the island.

Great social place to meet people. Regularly organize activities like movie nights or bbq nights. Had an en suite bathroom with was clean and fine, except the door was crooked and made a lot of noise when opening (ie not handy in the night). Laundry facilities available. Lockers very small and my master lock did not fit. In a smaller town beside puerto de la Cruz. Was at least a 1km walk before you were in puerto for restaurants or a supermarket, so expect to be walking quite a bit.

Nice hostel at the end of the main beach area. Rooftop is nice in the evening, rooms are quite small but mine had a bathroom ensuite what I liked. Good place to stay for 1-2 nights.

Bravo. Charmant, propre, bien équipé et bien situé. Si j’ai l’occasion, j’y retournerais sans hésiter.

Whats with those garbage cans at the entrence of hostel? Funky smell upon entering the hostel (not sure from thrash or kitchen). There were no locks to keep your private stuff safe so we had to buy one. Clean sleeping area and sheets smelled good. Interior decoration should be better, feels like a wartime sometimes (that hospital green, washmachine pipe in the middle of hostel,...) Rooftop place is looking and feels really cool.

Das ist Hostel ist ganz in Ordnung. Die Terrasse oben ist sehr toll und direkt dahinter kann man den schönsten Sonnenuntergang sehen. Außerdem ist es nicht weit zum Strand. Ich haben abends auf der Terrasse bei nem Bierchen auch nette Leute getroffen. Die Mitarbeiter sind zwar sehr bemüht, die Bude sauber zu halten, sind aber sozial aber eher mit sich selbst und Dauergästen beschäftigt. Von den Bewertungen hier habe ich eher andere Erwartungen gehabt, daher war ich etwas überrascht.

J'ai passé un séjour très agréable. Les lits sont très confortables et la disposition des pièces est très pratique et agréable. Le personnel est disponible et offre de nombreux services. L'emplacement est calme et proche de toutes les commodités. Je recommande fortement cette auberge.

como siempre es un gusto quedarme en este tipo de hostel, la vez anterior que estuve en Tenerife estuve en el del Médano, y ahora he repetido experiencia

Everything was great, location a bit far from the center but not impossible. I was very comfortable there, later when I had to go to the hospital in the middle of my stay the staff kindly took care of my belongings until I was able to collect them. The hostel was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

Desde que llegué fuí muy bien recibido por Nicole que amablemente me conto todo sobre el hostel y Puerto. Ella y el staff (Ariel, Pedro y Flor) son los q me acuerdo generan junto con las actividades q proponen un gran ambiente e intercambio entre los huespedes. Fui para quedarme 1 solo dia pero entre ellos y Puerto hicieron que me quede 3 dias.

Really nice and chill hostel. Great facility’s. Quiet and out of the way. My bed was extremely comfortable. Very clean.

It was a nice and relaxed atmosphere during my stay. The staff speaks a lot of Spanish, but is open to internationals and very kind. Also I just love the view from the terrace and nearby coast.

Es un hostel donde sentirte como en casa,es pequeñito pero luminoso y acogedor.la terraza tiene unas vistas increíbles,el mejor sitio para desayunar y empezar el día. Las habitaciones están muy bien,las camas tienen cortinas que dan intimidad y hay lockers do de guardar cosas de valor. Falta cafetera, por lo demás todo genial
