Lobby is vibey and nice but the dorm and bathroom were not. Over priced. Good location but still over priced. The bathroom shower is set up and floods like a pond so other travellers have to get their feet soaked or wait to use the toilet. No soap. Pretty sure I got given a dirty towel. Woke up before the hostel workers so felt kinda trapped inside the hostel until 8 or 9 am every morning when they open the front doors.
L'endroit et central, très pratique pour se balader dans Galle. L'espace commun est super avec la terrasse agréable. Par contre la chambre dortoir pour femme est plutôt un placard sans fenêtre derrière la cuisine. Cela sent l'humidité et la salle de bain n'est pas propre. Je ne sais pas pour les autres dortoirs.
The place is central, very convenient to walk around Galle. the common area is great with the pleasant terrace. on the other hand the women's bedroom is more like a closet without a window behind the kitchen. it smells of humidity and the bathroom is not clean. i don't know about the other dorms.

Good hostel is located in the hostel.
It was okay for a short stay and the stuff was very friendly but the don’t have a social area because it‘s basically a restaurant that has some rooms upstairs and behind their kitchen. Not easy to socialise
Welcome drink and friendly staff. Great location inside the fort for exploring. But bathroom lock did not stay so door always popped open. Shower did not work. I booked a 4 bed female dorm and was put into a 3 bed mixed dorm which isn’t even an option on their hostel world page and the two men in my room were so loud and noisy I got little to no sleep.
The only thing going for this place is the location. Other than that, there are a litany of issues. Including mould in guest rooms, unhelpful staff and little -to- zero security measure in place. Rooms on the ground floor are always unlocked and access is basically unrestricted.

Lovely staff and great location. There are no locks on doors, no lockers provided and as it’s just at the back of a bar anyone could walk in. Booked a 6 bed but put in a very small 3 bed. No communal area.

Een fijn verblijf. Perfecte locatie in het Fort met alles in de buurt. Erg mooie kamer, de badkamer is alleen heel verouderd. Super lieve medewerkers die je met alles helpen.
A nice stay. perfect location in the fort with everything nearby. very nice rooms, only the bathroom is very mature. super nice staff who help you with everything.
War ein sehr sauberes Zimmer mit tollem Personal. der empfohlene Ausflug war super und das ganze Fort kann locker zu Fuß erkundet werden.
The recommended excursion was super and the whole Fort can be explored on foot.

Schönes Hostel inmitten des Forts, vieler Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Bars und gleichzeitig in entspannter Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war sauber, hatte Schließfächer und Klimaanlage. Ein Fenster nach draußen gab es leider nicht. Die Hosts waren unglaublich hilfsbereit, die Stimmung im Hostel familiär. Die Musik war sehr gut.
Schönes Hostel inmitten des Forts, many sights, Restaurants and Bars and at the same time in relaxing Atmosphere. Das Zimmer was clean, had Lockerboxes and Air Conditioning. Ein Fenster nach außen es leider nicht. The Hosts were incredibly helpful, the Stimmung im Hostel familiär. Die Musik was very gut.

The hostel is located close to the ocean and the town. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Sadly there was no possibility to lock the room doors.
Great location and very friendly staff, shared dorms are out the back of the restaurant with no key for the door so didn’t feel entirely safe, the bunkbeds were quite uncomfortabe and the bathroom was quite small, there are also no windows so did feel a little claustrophobic. Overall, fine for a quick stop over and good price⭐️⭐️
Nice basic hostel in old town. Location was good and staff was very friendly and helpful. There was AC in the room and also clean beds with towels. Bathroom could use a good clean otherwise it was ok.

I feel welcomed the moment I arrived in the property. The place is so easy to find inside Galle Fort. Clean room and comfortable bed. :)

Ein sehr schönes Hostel mitten in Galle Fort. Besonders hervorzuheben sind Tharindu und Ishan, welche sich immer die Zeit genommen haben mit einem zu reden und UNO zu spielen. Das Hostel ist sehr sauber und bietet auch sehr gutes Essen an.

Really nice hostel in great location inside the fort. Staff are super lovely n very helpful - arranged at late notice for me to go whale watching from Mirassa with pick up n drop off. Hostel was pretty quiet while i was there but nice chill area on the front n could meet n chat to other guests. Ate their one night n food was good, and decent morning coffee. Room was nice n big, AC quite loud n some noise from bar below until midnight but fine with ear plugs. Would definitely stay again.
