The Beehive

I booked to stay at the Beehive on Hostelworld. The next day they emailed to say that I must cancel my own booking as I was booking for a group of three, which for some reason is forbidden. They also said that I will not be getting a refund as my booking was 'non-refundable'. Extremely poor customer service, do not book here.

Be aware of policy, I booked and paid for 2 nights, wasn't aware about the check in time, and my second night was canceled and booked for another customer, because I couldn't check in on time. No refund, I feel like I was robbed. Stupid policy, terrible customer service.

I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm on the second floor of an annex. However, the annex was mixed-gender, and common areas were shared. That wasn’t a big issue, but there were serious security concerns—no staff was present or checking in, and our room door was broken and wouldn’t lock properly. Been traveling for over 10 years in 35 years of my life. Been to so many hostels, hotels, and airbnbs and I can guarantee this is the worst hostel I’ve been in my entire life. DON’T BOOK HERE! 0/10 in customer service, if you arrive after 10 pm you lose your money and they will literally tell you that it is your problem and figure it out yourself. 0 sense of hospitality for being in the hospitality industry. (In case you book here and have a flight delay and get thrown to the streets like my case, I recommend the Mc Donald’s that is crossing Rome Termini)

Proximity to station. Cute rooms. Friendly hosts. Happy hours (Apertivo) on weekdays. Well-worth a stay.

Nice hotel with Kitchen, near Termini station. Also there is Conad grocery market in Terminal so you can cook.

Management would rather keep your money than keep you safe and keep contagious diseases from spreading. Staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, sheets blankets are clean. Place is quiet at night. And this place is very close to the terminal and to a lot of places. Worth every penny.

I wasn't there for long on a very short trip, but I feel comfortable enough to book them again.

I genuinely enjoyed every aspect of this hostel. The service was excellent, especially at reception, the staff member who assisted us was extremely kind, helpful, and professional. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We also had access to a shared kitchen, along with free tap water, tea, and basic ingredients for anyone who wanted to cook, which made the stay even more convenient. We stayed in the women's wing. We found it clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again when visiting Rome

Perfect place for a perfect trip

I had a great time staying at The Beehive Hostel, the staff there were very welcoming and accommodating, Daisy and Holly were both lovely and knowledgeable for things to do and places to eat in the area! Aperitivo time in the garden was a great way to connect with other travellers and share what you did during the day or make plans with for the evening, or days ahead. I made many friends that I hope to stay in touch with in the future.

Ein sehr gutes ruhiges aber soziales Hostel in der Nähe des Bahnhofes! Man wurde direkt freundlich empfangen und es wurde sofort eine familiäre Atmosphäre ermöglicht. Die 4 Bett Zimmer bieten genug Ruhe, aber auch trotzdem soziale Interaktion! Einfach ein perfektes Mittelding, um auch mal runterzukommen. Es gab gratis Pizza im Garten und auch günstigen Aperitif dazu. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Das Check In und Out ging auch sehr schnell.

Very clean and I never had to wait for a bathroom. Bed was also long enough for me which was great. Also the 2 front desk workers Maribel and Daisy really made the stay social and engaging.

Super clean everywhere, well equipped kitchen, and really safe rooms! Beds were comfy and the lockers (they provide a key) were spacious. The outside area is very pretty and we ate there regularly. The sockets were universal so we didn’t even have to use our adaptors! The staff are all lovely, welcoming, and helpful - especially Mirabel, who sorted out an issue very quickly. The only thing to improve would be more toilets and shower rooms. Highly recommend :)

I paid around €30 for one night, plus city tax.The hostel provided lockers with locks, and the storage space was enough to fit a small cabin bag plus a backpack. Linda let me borrow an Adaptor form the hostel ,I forgot mine at home until I got another one which was great. Maribel and a daisy were great, friendly and resourceful- they let us know about food and things to do. Beds decent& room space good. Female dorms in another building which wasn’t ideal had to cook in the other building around teh corner & had to pay more city taxes. checkout day I was going to cook my eggs after but I was told taht I couldn’t but could set and charge up my phone

Enjoyed the staff & other clients staying at the beehive. Will come again. Great value.
