Absolutely awful hostel. Dirty kitchen, dirty showers, dirty room. Nothing here is clean and the staff weren’t helpful or friendly
Sobrevivir en este hostal ha sido todo un reto. Totalmente inhumano dormir a 47 grados, además es injusto que por un mismo precio unos tengan ventiladores y otros no. La limpieza no brilla por su presencia ya que he visto baños de discotecas más limpios. La cocina tenia hormigas igual de grandes que elefantes y todo pegajoso.
Surviving in this hostel has been quite a challenge. Totally inhuman to sleep at 47 degrees, plus it's unfair that for the same price some have fans and others don't. The cleanliness doesn't shine through their presence as I've seen cleaner discos' bathrooms. The kitchen had ants as big as elephants and everything was sticky.
BED BUGS !!!! My bed was full of bed bugs. The receptionist confirmed and called her boss who denied and refused to find any solution. I even found a nail on my mattress. The kitchen was also very dirty, with cockroaches… Even after we found the bed bugs, they refused to refund us. We left at 11pm as we didn’t want to sleep with bed bugs….. Strange vibe in the hostel anyway…. even though the swimming pool was ok. It’s also quite far from the city center. DONT GO !!!!!
I really tried to give this place a chance but it's not worth the stress in my experience. Rooms weren't ready when we arrived at 3 so we had to leave our stuff in the communal locked storage as the lockers are small. In one night my jacket was stolen and there were no cameras ect... On top of this the bathrooms and showers are filthy. Location is very far from the beach/strip so you need Uber each time. Staff were nice and rooms were ok, just make sure to bring many locks.

The worst hostel in 6 years of travels !!!!!! No fan in the room Only 2 plugs in the room and we are 4 people Swimming pool, disgusting, you have all the people from the next suburb who get inside Showers and toilets disgusting Breakfast disgusting as well Atmosphere weird The loaner, horrible Don’t go there ! Believe me !
Strange vibe, horrible bed bugs, far away in a non-safe neighbourhood ( personally I wouldn't have been safe there as a woman)
Lugar lejos , atmosfera fea , mucho ruidoo , muchos jovenes y feo olor. No hay cargadores en las habitaciones y esta muy mal organizado.
The place was disgusting. I know there were people there cleaning rooms but not the kitchens or the bathrooms. It was so hot without the air conditioning so if you go there, go during cooler months. Also the main balcony connects all the rooms so everyone having even a quiet conversation can be heard by all, at all hours of the night. This place isn’t the worst but it’s definitely not worth 18 per night. Also check in is at 6 pm so you don’t get to come at a reasonable time of day for sett...

As únicas coisas que faltam: - Uma tomada por cama (inexistente), já que só existe uma por quarto. - Cortinas individuais em cada cama.
The only things missing: - A bedside table (non-existent), as there is only one per room. - Individual curtains on each bed.

Ubicación muy alejada. Ambiente un poco hostil, los espacios comunes y baños dan la sensación de estar en un colegio. La luz del baño tiene sensor de movimiento por lo que al entrar al baño o a las duchas terminas a oscuras. En la pieza de 4 personas había solo un enchufe (yo estaba sola en la pieza y aún así era incómodo porque estaba lejos de la cama). La primera mañana abro la cortina y veo a alguien meando desde el balcon. Me sentía insegura. Lo mejor: tienen un gato gordo.
Very remote location. ambience a little hostile, common areas and bathrooms and the feeling of being in a college. the bathroom light has a motion sensor so when entering the bathroom or the showers ends up dark. in the room for 4 people there was only one plug (i was alone in the room and still it was uncomfortable because i was far from the bed). first morning i open the curtain and see someone meowing from the balcony. i felt insecure. the best thing: they have a fat cat.

This hostel has good and bad aspects. There was only one socket per room to be shared between 4 people, lockers in the rooms did not close properly and therefore couldn’t actually be locked, the kitchen smelt awful and the facilities were filthy. Shower areas were unclean and hot water was only available half of the time. However the pool area and the view from the outside terrace was lovely as well as the free breakfast included. Hostel was in a dodgy area within portimao so felt unsafe.
L'ensemble du bâtiment a besoin de renovation. Les douches sont à refaire : pas de pommeaux, fuites, grilles d'évacuation cassées et pleines de cheveux. De quand datent les chaises du réfectoire ? Le personnel est très agréable et l'emplacement est calme.
The whole building needs renovation. the showers are to be repaired : no apples, leaks, broken and full of hair evacuation grilles. how old are the chairs in the refectory? the staff is very nice and the location is quiet.
Este Hostel está quase ao abandono... Manutenção inexistente. Mas boa relação qualidade preço.

Ik kwam hier voor de 3e keer. Helaas ook de laatste keer. Pand zelf is verloederd/verouderd. Het schoonmaakpersoneel doet er alles aan om het ontbijt en de schoonmaak in goede banen te leiden. Maar tijdens mijn verblijf werden er dingen ontvreemd, na meermaals het personeel te hebben gecontacteerd, werd ik telkens van het kastje naar de muur gestuurd. Ook de meneer (soort 'security') was niet opgeleid om tot oplossingen te komen indien er problemen voordeden in de nacht.
I came here for the 3rd time. unfortunately also the last time. pand himself is lost/mature. the cleaning staff does everything to run the breakfast and the cleaning in a good way. but during my stay things got out of hand, after several times contacting the staff, i was always sent from the box to the wall. also de meneer (kind of 'security') was not trained to come to solutions to problems that occurred at night.
I would recommend as just a place to sleep. The beds and rooms were very clean. The hostel was almost empty, a little unfortunate as I was hoping to meet others. Staff was friendly and gave good directions because this hostel is definitely far from a lot, but worth the price.
A swimming pool is definitely the best feature of this place. Common areas are nice in general (kitchen and bathrooms were dirty) there is also a pool table but it was not possible to use it. Tasty breakfast and cozy beds. if not for lack of cleanliness and localisation it would be 10/10.

Very nice size hostel. Good breakfast and kitchen to use. Bed was comfortable. Location wasn't too far of a walk from the mall, but a good half hour from the beach. No complaints though, as the price was very fair.

It's a nice place to spend your stay. it has almost everything.
Il faisait très chaud, sans air climatisé. Nous avions demandé deux lits dans le même dortoir mixte, quand nous avons effectué notre check-in, nous avons été séparés. Nos lits n'ont pas été changé de draps, les toilettes étaient sales et c'était très bruyant. Je ne recommande pas. Les deux seuls points positifs : il y avait une piscine et le petit déjeuner est inclus.
It was very hot, no air conditioning. We had requested two beds in the same mixed dormitory, when we made our check-in, we were separated. Our beds were not changed sheets, the toilets were dirty and it was very noisy. I don't recommend. The only two positive points was there was a pool and breakfast is included.

It was good value for money but the property needs some improvements and also the room had no bed socket at bed but with free breakfast this was value for money just in need of improvement
Meer een hotel dan een hostel! Heel grote accomodatie waar ook grote groepen kunnen logeren (kampen). Voor 18 euro per nacht kreeg je best veel. Goed zwembad en oke ontbijt. Slaapkamer was enorm warm wel.
More than a hotel than a hostel! very large accommodation where even large groups can stay (camping). for 18 euros a night you got the best deal. good swimming pool and great breakfast. sleeping room was enormously warm well.
A localização fica um pouco afastado, em cima de um morro, o que dificulta se você não tem um carro. Quando estive lá algumas coisas sumiram, não é culpa do local mas não transmite segurança. Poderia ter mais tomadas no quarto e maior qualidade no chuveiro, você tem que ficar apertando o tempo todo pra sair água.
The location gets a little remote, on top of a hill, or that makes it difficult if you don't have a car. when i was there some things went wrong, it's not the local's fault but it doesn't convey security. you could have more sockets in the bedroom and higher quality in the shower, you have to keep it on all the time to get water out.
