Unfriendly and rude staff (one in particular), not so accommodating

Huge ant infestation in not only common areas but also dorms and beds. Probably needs to sorted as location is great. Common areas could also do with a deeper clean every now and again

Unfortunately, we had an issue with 2 other guests staying in our room on the first of two nights. When we spoke to the staff, they bluntly told us that the guests had already checked out and would not be returning. However that evening they were back. We spoke again to the staff and they said there is nothing they can do. The bathroom was very dirty and one shower was defect due to damage in the drain. The space in front of the sinks was 60cm which made them very hard to access! Besides that, the area around the AC and the general air quality was very bad due to mould on the walls. I would not recommend!

Wouldn’t recommend sleeping in the mixed dorm, beds are very close together and have no curtain. Really good location about 3 mins walk from the beach and right in the middle of town. Does get loud on the street during the night but it’s not too bad. No atmosphere.

Lage ist in Ordnung und an sich ist das Hostel sauber gehalten allerdings ist der Empfang eine Katastrophe. Selten so unfreundliche Menschen getroffen.

Todos os funcionários são muito amáveis, e muito disponíveis, nota 100 pra eles. Porém nos hostels existem dias temáticos pra que os hóspedes socializem. Agendamos este pelas resenhas relacionadas com um ambiente pra fazer amizades, porém parece que a administração mudou e não é a mesma proposta. Então nos decepcionamos. Não tem nenhum dia temático, evento, qualquer coisa pra socializar. Sobre serviço também achei que deixa a desejar. O hostel não vende uma água, snack, nada,...

I was surprisingly disappointed by this hostel. Their terrace is great and I met cool people, but the staff is rude and unfriendly & the common areas (kitchen, living rooms) were dirty. No activities organized by the hostel. Would not recommend - there are way cooler places to stay in Albufeira.

I had the private room, and it was nice but the bed is really hard and uncomfortable. The shower drain also flooded a bit. It was a still a clean spacious room though. The location of the hostel is excellent, but the hostel itself isn’t very social. Not really a place to make friends or meet people, more of just a place to sleep.

Great hostel and great staff! Only issue is that the showers are kinda "see through" and it is in a common bathroom. A really clean place and right next to the beach/old town!

Personnel incroyablement accueillant, attentionné et agréable. L’emplacement est parfait pour aller n’importe où : au port, à la plage, dans la vieille ville, dans les bars,…

Ostello molto carino in centro storico, lontano dalle vie molto rumorose della movida. Una piacevole terrazza, camere grandi e pulite. Lo staff è davvero gentilissimo e delizioso! Ci hanno permesso di lasciare le nostre valigie fino alla partenza del nostro bus e di poterci rilassare in terrazza in attesa della partenza nonostante il check in sia al mattino. Si respira un'aria familiare e accogliente! Tutto perfettamente pulito e in ordine! Molto consigliato

Pros : - private bathroom - small chambers (dormitory of 6) - very clean - very professional crew Cons : - No lock on the dormitory - No curtain for the beds (it could up the game a LOT)

La ubicación del hostel es excelente. Las instalaciones y la limpieza están bien. Pero fue imposible dormir hasta las 3 am porque la habitación da a una calle principal y había muchísimo ruido y el personal de la tarde no era muy simpático.

Lage Super! Schlecht: Kühlschrank dreckig/ Küche stinkt, kein Absperren im Frauenschlafsaal, andere kommen einfach ins Zimmer, zu wenige Toiletten, Bett und vor allem Handtücher dreckig, wenig Privatsphäre Der „Sicherheitsservice“ sind die Rezeptionisten, die einfach nur auf einen Bildschirm schauen und sich auch gelegentlich ablenken lassen. Ich habe mich nicht sicher gefühlt.

Très belle hostel très propre ! Belle cuisine et terrasse. Ambiance assez calme. Belle emplacement, à 2 minutes des plages et de la rue des bars mais on entend pas la musique le soir !

Good location, not any activities when I stayed there. So not very social. Close to the beach!

Private room with ensuite was large and nicely decorated and clean, freindly staff, good location in the amongst the square/restaurants etc, was off peak so very quiet and not social but same with all hostels in albufeira at this time.

Beware of the Bed bugs. Found some in the basement rooms and notified the staff, they were very apologetic and we were able to switch rooms. This has clearly been an issue for them before. The whole hostel needs to be cleaned before they should let anymore people stay there. Besides that, it was a clean and small hostel in a great location very close to the beach. Ok bathrooms and a small but tidy kitchen.

Pros: Located at the heart of the town and right by the beach, great beds and a big drawer to lock your stuff in Cons: Not safe because you could not lock the room you were sleeping in so everybody could just enter, there was no option to lock your luggage/ no luggage room and the bathroomcwas rather unclean.

Overall ok for 2 nights. We stayed in the room downstairs and there was a smell in our en-suite bathroom. I preferred the bathroom/shower upstairs. I wouldn’t say that our dorm was « deluxe » as they call it though. Beds are comfy and towels are included in the price you pay; you dont have to rend them like at other hostels. The hostel is extremely well situated!
