I really enjoyed this hostel. Fridge to place my food, meni to order food, pretty decent, varied selection, free drink included with arrival. Free WiFi. Tables to sit, ambient lighting, very calming. Facilities all clean - one toilet cubicle not working - 2 was enough. Showers clean, hot/cold water worked well. Lift. Comfy beds, great curtains, ac low, was good. Lockers need step for top shelf. This was probably one of the cleanest hostels that I've ever stayed at. The rooms are very tidy & only a few people within each room share the showers/toilets, which makes it much less crowded and very convenient. They provide sheets & a towel for yourself to put on, so everything is spotless & you have a nice bag to carry everything to the showers. The bar/cafe is very cute as well with a free welcome coffee, tea or hot chocolate that you can take anytime.

Nearly a perfect score all round. Cleanliness, security, facilities, staff etc. My only feedback is that although each bunk is quite private, there are a lot of people in one room, so it’s a bit tight for space, and it means greater chance of people coming and going all night. That said, it seems to work, and it’s worth it for the modern and clean facilities.

First time solo travelling, and as a female I felt so safe !

The elephant hostel is an absolutely amazing hostel which I highly recommend! It’s in a great area with transport super close-by. The facilities are all great (hot showers, secure lockers, clean+ comfortable beds). They also provide towels and sheets. The common area and food is amazing too, hot chocolate and ham and cheese toastie was always my go-to!! The staff are all lovely and helpful and the reception is open 24 hours a day. Overall, amazing hostel that I will definitely revisit! :)

Well located place, rooms are decently sized and so are the sleeping areas. Enough room for luggage too and staff were great. Social area was a bit on the smaller side and bathrooms were too, but everything worked like it should and no complaints there.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel. It was just as pretty in person. It was clean and the staff was great. It’s right near a bus stop that will take you anywhere. The only thing is the walkways between the beds are kind of slim so it makes getting things in and out of your luggage a little inconvenient but it is a hostel.

I thought The Elephant Hostel was incredible! Everything about it was perfect for my trip to Amsterdam! Very clean & safe facility. The front desk was phenomenal & they even went above and beyond to help print my train ticket for me! If I could give any criticism, it would be that they should add small fans in the corner of the multi bunk beds. We couldn't open any windows, so a little extra cold air option would really make it spectacular!!

Nice clan place with good privacy. Not that social for solo travellers which was ok with me, because I wanted to sleep well (which I did) after an overnight flight. Staff were super friendly and the lounge is nice to read a book and hang out in. Located just outside the tourist centre in a more quiet neighborhood which I liked, and the tram is right by the front door. Gym is small but more than enough for a trip workout. Would recommend this hostel.

Well located, about a 15-20 minute walk to centre, or tram stop nearby. Very clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Quiet and safe area. Would recommend, great for exploring the city.

Hermoso el hostel. Tiene de todo, te dan hasta toalla. Ademas muy bien equipado y muy muy limpio. El personal es divino, me ayudaron incluso a resolver problemas que tenía con mi transporte. Si o Si volveria!

Very nice hostel, the doorms are really modern and clean. In their bar they offer loads of food for good prices and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was really pleased with my stay here. The place was spotless, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially belen and felipe who were very attentive. The rooms were very clean and lockers were super secure as you needed a pass to open them, so I always felt my belongings were safe. Bathrooms were kept clean constantly and the drink/food options were really good too when you wanted to have a little more convenience. Couldn’t fault the place! Thank you!

Such a lovely hostel in a great location. The cubicle beds are very private and cosy (but clastrophobic people beware, cause it’s very tight). The only complaint i’d have is that there was a slightly musty smell in the room, but I think that’s a bit inevitable. The bathroom was convenient and clean, and the shared spaces were nice for hanging around and doing work. I definitely reccomend this hostel!
