Bij check in kon ik alleen met contant en met transfer betalen, geen pin. Ik betaalde contant maar ze hadden geen wisselgeld, de medegewerkt zei dat hij het klaar zou leggen en ik er later om kon vragen, maar heb die avond en volgende ochtend geen medewerkers meer gezien. de kamers, bedden en badkamer waren best wel vies. Als deken kreeg ik een hele dunne hoeslaken, zonder echt deken, en de kamers waren erg koud ‘s nachts, ik heb met al mijn kleren aan geslapen. Ben hier snel weer wegegaan
At check in I could only pay with cash and with transfer, no pin. I paid cash but they had no change, the co-worker said he would put the change and I could ask for it later, but I saw no more staff that evening and the next morning. the rooms, bed and bathroom were best wel vibes. as a blanket I got a very thin hoeslaken, zonder echt deken, and the rooms were very cold s nights, I slept with all my clothes on.

Chambres minimalistes, pas de petites lampes pour lire ou autre, pas de prises de courant individuelles … ne pensez pas à dormir là bas c’est le bordel de 20h à … 6h30 du matin !! Après c’est plus calme 🤣 Non franchement à éviter c’est du n’importe quoi personne ne contrôle les va et vient, personne ne calme les hôtes qui rentrent bourrés … nous sommes partis a 7h du matin après avoir subi toute la nuit !! It's expensive for what it is ! minimalist rooms, no little lamps to read or anything, no individual electrical outlets ... don't even think about sleeping down there it's the brothel from 8pm to ... 6:30am !! afterwards it's quieter 🤣 Not frankly to avoid it's from anything nobody controls the comings and goings, nobody calms the hosts who come home drunk ... we left at 7am after suffering all night !! the commodities are summarised, sales...
Buenos días! Les llamé por teléfono por un problema y me dijeron que se lo comentara a través de correo electrónico. Les escribí y aún estoy esperando la respuesta después de dos semanas. Son un auténtico desastre.
Good morning! i called them on the phone about a problem and they told me to comment on it via e-mail. i wrote them and i am still waiting for the answer after two weeks. they are a real disaster.
Low rating due to the property being closed on arrival, no one to answer the phone and some two week later no one has responded to my email. Still haven’t received a refund for my pre payed deposit and I had to book last minute alternative accommodation.
It was closed… still got charged. Not happy at all.
BED BUGS in this hostel!!!! The vibe is off only volunteers!! Nobody is staying during the night, it’s not secure!! The volunteers invite people over and drink and play loud music!! Recommand any other hostel
when we arrived at the hostel it looked quite nice, but then the room we were assigned was the same as a warehouse and smelled musty, we had to air the room for many hours, we couldn't stay! The following morning we also found ourselves without water on our floor due to a fault and the staff did not show the least bit available to solve the problem, nor did they apologize for the inconvenience. We are not fussy people and adapt easily but this was absolutely the worst hostel ever!
Dirty room, found nail clippings on the shelf beside the bed, plus sand on the floor, used sheets still on other beds although it was single occupancy booked. Mattress had a rubber cover, uncomfortable. No reading lamp. no hot shower- by default. Bathrooms were dirty. Kitchen was a big mess, dishes, rubbish and stuff everywhere, really wasn't usable. Location is out of the way in a shopping centre. No atmosphere.
Koud water, hostel werkt met vrijwilligers dus niemand kan je helpen, bedden zijn slecht, weinig privacy, keuken is vies.
Bed bugs!!!! I had a room with bed bugs in the wall, on the floor and some where hidden in the bed frame. I got another room but there where still littel eggs at the bed frame!! This hostel should be closed! I asked if I could get my money back but they didn’t want to.

After being told it was cash only, he gave me my change back in 1cent coins only because that was “all they had”. The boss seemed annoyed that i even asked for my change back. Hostel is pretty far from the town and the vibes were just bad. Bathrooms were dirty and falling apart. I assume i was there during the off season, but by far the worst hostel of my trip so far. I would look elsewhere.
great place to stay! very chill and happy place, good atmosphere and social vibe - the volunteers are fantastic; even when we don't speak the same language! Also really good to work remotely here as well, pretty good place! :)
Tenía una habitación privada (una común reconvertida por la temporada baja). Me quedé dos noches y la cerré cuando me fui durante el día, pero cuando volví encontré la puerta abierta del todo. Por suerte no había dejado cosas de valor. El personal muy bien, pero la limpieza de la cocina baja por la poca gente que había. En temporada alta seguro que es todo mejor!
I had a private room (a common converted for the off season). i stayed two nights and locked it when i left during the day, but when i came back i found the door completely open. luckily i hadn't left anything of value. the staff very good, but the cleanliness of the kitchen is low because of the few people there were. in high season sure everything is better!
Los recepcionistas (voluntarios, imagino) bastante mirones cuando llegamos, nos hicieron sentir incómodas.Pasamos dos noches escuchando a gente pegar golpes por no poder entrar con la llave de la puerta de atrás (justamente esta semana no hay recepcionista 24h, pero es mentira, llevan así años). Nadie cogerá el teléfono si tienes algún problema por la noche, incluído salir o entrar del hostel; me pareció peligroso. Les pedí factura y se hicieron los tontos, tuve que insistir semanas de...
We spent two nights listening to people banging on doors because they couldn't get in with the key from the back door (just this week there is no 24-hour receptionist, but it's a lie, they've been like this for years).No one will pick up the phone if you have any problems at night, including getting in or out of the hostel; I thought it was dangerous. I asked them for the bill and they made the idiots insist, which I had to do weeks later.
Very nice hostel! Roberta, the receptionist, was very welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better

Lindo hostel, pero muy flojo el aire acondicionado. Si mejoraran eso seria un exito

Reservé una litera en habitación x4 y la confirmación me llega para habitación x6. La recepcionista me dice que no, que la de 4 camas cuesta 50eur... Me pone en una litera superior en una habitación cero cómoda, con 3 chicos que lo tenían todo tirado por el suelo... Parecía un campamento militar. Le pedí cambio de habitación y resulta que hay otra x6 totalmente vacía... Dice en recepción que hay desayuno gratis (es mentira). Lo que hubo fue una cucaracha paseando por el suelo de la c...
I booked a bunk in room x4 and the confirmation comes for room x6. the receptionist says no, that the 4-bed costs 50€... she puts me in a higher bunk in a comfortable room zero, with 3 guys who had everything thrown on the floor... it looked like a military camp. i asked for a change of room and it turns out there is another x6 totally empty... it says at the reception that there is free breakfast (it's a lie). what there was was a cockroach walking on the kitchen floor...
I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to say something. The staff is really friendly and the common areas are nice, but the rooms have absolutely no air circulation. No air conditioning and no ventilation and only a small window opening…, honestly, it felt like 45°C in the rooms. I had originally booked for 3 nights, but after spending one night barely sleeping for an hour, I decided to leave for another city…
Un cadre sympa et un personnel avenant mais .. aucune ventilation dans un dortoir de 8 personnes sans aération , on aurais mieux dormis dans la voiture
A nice setting and a good staff but .. no ventilation in a dorm of 8 people without ventilation, we would have slept better in the car
Accueil au top avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Les espaces communs donnent envie de rester encore plus longtemps. On recommande!

Un hostel en el que puedes disfrutar de una estancia tanto para familia como amigos. Ubicación genial para descansar y salida cercana a las playas. Además cuentan con una escuela de Kite en la que puedes dar clases.
A hostel where you can enjoy a stay for both family and friends. great location for rest and outing close to the beaches. plus they have a kite school where you can teach.

Cada vez que voy a Tarifa me quedo en South Hostel donde me tratan de 10, me siento como en casa. Esta vez estaba Pablo en recepción y me facilitó todo para mi estancia. Además el ambiente es muy bueno y conoces gente de todos sitios. Puedes tomarte algo y si quieres cocinar tienes todo a mano. Habitaciones y baños siempre limpias. Recomendable 100%. Además si te gusta el kite tienes allí mismo la escuela de Juan (kite passion) para aprender o mejorar.
Every time I go to Tarifa I stay in South Hostel where they treat me like 10, I feel at home. This time Pablo was at the reception and facilitated everything for my stay. Plus the atmosphere is very good and you meet people from all over. You can have something and if you want to cook you have everything at hand. Rooms and bathrooms always clean. 100% recommended. Plus if you like kite you have right there Juan's school (kite passion) to learn or improve.

El personal, sobre todo Hector, super amable! Tuve una excelente estadía (y eso que en el medio me enfermé). Lo unico que quizas si cambiaría es el sistema de duchas ya que hay que mantener presionado un boton para que salga el agua
The only thing I would change is the shower system as you have to keep a button pressed to get the water out
Nice place to stay. Staffs are nice, location is okay. Kitchen is well equipped. The only thing I don’t like is the bed, the mattress is very uncomfortable, even worse. it is covered by plastic.
