Es ist schon ein wenig herunter gekommen. Ein schönes Haus, aber es muss mal dringend renoviert und aufgeräumt werden. Auch die Matratzen könnten neu gekauft werden.
It's already come down a bit. a nice house, but it needs urgently renovated and cleaned up. even the mattresses could be bought new.
Common area is nice and breakfast is ok. The floors and walls are filthy and run down and we had allergic reactions. There is no kitchen and all the faucets are really bad.
The hostel has no vibe, and the rooms seems to all be roughly converted into a hostel from what was likely a hotel, and are in dire need of proper renovation.
The staff were all very nice and the location can’t be beat. That said, it was pretty grimey inside the rooms and bathrooms, the mattress covers had old dried blood and pieces of dirt on them and the walls and floor were pretty grimey. Overall it was fine for the 12 hours I was there but probably wouldn’t return. They did have a nice bar area and it was nice breakfast was included.
Was ok overall. Fridge and microwave to cook, but didnt feel overly safe as a solo female traveller. Rooms were a bit dirty, bathrooms also. And bathrooms never had toilet paper, annoying. Staff happy to restock when mentioned but shouldnt havent request it. Should just be in there. Not much of a vibe at the hostel, but the free breakfast is nice and the wifi works fine.
Basically a hotel but where else are you going to stay. Location is top tier on the main street but don’t count on meeting anyone or having the nicest of facilities. Free breakfast was nice though.
Eine Jugendherberge, wie sie im Buche steht. Sehr simpel, aber ausreichend für eine Nacht. Ein großes Manko war, dass das 4er Zimmer Damen nur 2 Schließfächer zum Abschließen seiner Gegenstände hatte. Auch wenn das Personal angeboten hat, Wertsachen an der Rezeption zu lagern, finde ich, dass ein eigenes Schließfach eine Mindestanforderung ist. Nachts ist die Straße leider sehr laut. Ansonsten alles ok.
Eine Jugendherberge, as it says in the book. Very simple, but sufficient for one night. A big drawback was that the 4th Room Ladies only had 2 lockers to lock their belongings. Even though the staff had offered to store valuables at the reception, I find that a private lockers is a minimum requirement. At night the street is very noisy. Otherwise everything is fine.
Basic functional hostel with all that you need. Free breakfast was also a very nice plus.

This hostel is in a great spot near everything, has great staff, has big storage lockers, and a nice bar area on the first floor, couldn’t ask for more when staying in Avignon

Solid hostel overall (by European standards). Everything works as needs to, the included breakfast à volontaire is a great addition and the staff seem nice and the rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Great location right in the centre. Facilities are fine, no curtains on beds sadly. Not very social.
Man könnte ein paar Stühle durch Sofas für ein Loungeeck ersetzen. Außerdem sollten die Zimmer besser gesaugt werden, an den Ecken sind überall Staubklumpen. Die Fächer unter den Betten quietschen sehr, hier vielleicht ölen oder ähnliches und die Zimmertür geht nur super laut ins Schloss, was bei einem 8-Personen-Zimmer sehr störend ist, wenn jeder wann anders aufsteht... Ansonsten tolle Leute, super Lage, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle gut!
You could replace a few Chairs with Sofas for a Loungeeck. Also the Rooms should be better sucked, in the Corner there are Dust Bumps everywhere. The Fences under the Beds quietschen very much, here maybe oils or something like that and the Zimmertür goes just super loud ins Schloss, which in an 8-Person-Room is very disturbing, if everyone gets up differently... Ansonsten great people, super Lage, Fridge and Microwave gut!
The staff is absolutely golden and the location is beautiful. One of very few hostels in France :)
Overall it was a great experience. Super friendly and open staff! I rented a bed in the women's room, which was very nice. Enough space to store my luggage and a good view with little balconies. The only thing I would recommend for everyone that comes here, is to bring earplugs since the street noises can be a little loud sometimes :)

Simple hostel, but very well located in Avignon. Very friendly staff and good breakfast, however, bathrooms are small and few facilities. All in all nice, but could be renovated in some areas.

Très bien situé, Accueil chaleureux. J’ai apprécié les valeurs humaines remarquables du personnel. J’ai apprécié le rapport qualité-prix également avec le petit déjeuner copieux, de qualité et varié inclus avec la chambre, et il n’y a pas de passage sur la route, donc c’est très silencieux. Merci
I enjoyed the outstanding human values of the staff. I enjoyed the value for money ratio also with the hearty, quality and varied breakfast included with the room, and there is no road crossing, so it is very quiet. thank you.
personale molto gentile e premuroso, posizione ottima nel centro di Avignone. Colazione abbondante. La struttura è molto bella, ma avrebbe bisogno di essere ristrutturata, porte, muri, bagni in particolare. comunque vivamente consigliato per l'ambiente e per il costo molto basso ;)

Awesome place with great location and super friendly staff!
Superbe emplacement sur une artère principale de la ville. C'était bien que le petit-déjeuner soit inclus. Par contre, il n'y avait pas de cuisine équipée, donc ce n'était pas vraiment possible de préparer à manger. Le personnel était accueillant et un agent de sécurité veillait la nuit.
It was nice that breakfast was included. however, there was no equipped kitchen, so it was not really possible to prepare food. the staff was welcoming and a security guard kept watch at night.

Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were fine and the free breakfast is useful and adequate. Maybe I didn't see it, but a water dispenser to fill up water bottles would be very useful for other travellers in the future.
