Disgusting hotel with disgusting workers. Would not recommend to anyone who wants any sort of problem solved. Super hot in the rooms and the workers are 0 help at all. Hotel keeps taking money and not solving issue

I was surprised by the positive reviews because my experience was very different.This hotel is incredibly dirty. They gave me bed bugs. The worst part was that they knew they had the bed bugs. The staff was incredibly rude to me. I stayed at Hotel Madrigal expecting basic hospitality. I stayed at Hotel Madrigal expecting basic hospitality. What I received was a dismissive, gaslighting experience from management that left me bitten, humiliated, and shocked by how little they truly did. After waking up with visible bed bug bites, I reported the issue — only to be told that nothing could be done for seven hours while I continued to get bitten. I cried multiple times in the lobby, in front of staff who refused to help or even acknowledge me.

bed bugs!! After staying there, my whole house was infested with bed bugs. Although the staff was very polite, they disabled the lock of my room at 11 at night because I forgot to pay the tax, even though I paid for my entire stay. It was very rude.

I didn’t think about it until after I checked out, and should have said something… I was disappointed that they KNOWINGLY let me sleep in a room with bedbugs and didn’t care! I killed three. They hired a fumigation company, in advance, to fumigate the room I slept in for two nights, scheduled on the day that I was checking out. They gave the other guy a private room for three nights during his stay starting today since there will be toxic chemicals for the fumigation. They refunded my towe...

Great location and bathroom was clean. Beds were private however - beware of bed bugs!! My bunk mate got them on our final night. I showered up with them not long after. As it's wooden cork beds, unless they fumigate the rooms, unlikely they'll fully get rid of them. The lockers also don't lock properly and are an awkward shape so you can't fit any hiking bag or suitcase in. The location was great but the only amenities outside the room is a water station. The reception staff were kind.

Cancellation and close to no costumer support. They cancelled our reservation 4 day before our arrival because of bedbugs. The cancellation email had very little information and when we called, the person who picked up didn’t even know about anything (they thought we had cancelled our reservation). Overall really good stay! Rooms aren’t super social but they are very spacious and comfortable! Also super clean :) location next to the metro is super convenient and safe!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Madrigal! The location was very convient right by the train station and I felt very safe leaving my bags at the hostel while I was gone. The employees were very hospitable and helpful throughout my stay and even generous enough to not charge me when I accidentally slept in (the beds of are very comfortable) and missed my checkout time. Overall I would definitely recommend this hostel to others and will most likely stay here again in future trips to Paris.

If your looking for a hotel it’s good but hostel is fine, not very social but very clean and nice with good bathrooms, just a little far from everything.

The best thing about this hotel was the location, easy access to the metro station and Gare Montparnese. You are able to leave your bags if you arrive early. Staff is friendly. The room is tiny, with a lumpy queen bed. The bathroom door (a barn door) does not shut all the way and offers little privacy, the shower leaks all over the floor. Hotel needs an upgrade. Overall a disappointment

The reception staff really made this hostel. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. I really appreciated how kind they all were. Dorm rooms configured really well for maximum privacy and showers were lovely. Spotlessly clean. Location really made this trip. Meteo station literally over the road. Really nice place to stay. Shared room was really quiet. Everyone was so kind. Just across to the subway station, after a long day walking in paris is such a relief. 25 min max from luxembourg gardens. Great location, great staff.

Great hostel. It felt like a hotel with great spaces and excellent rooms. The dorms were spacious and super clean with a lovely sitting area and great bathrooms. This is the perfect place for a solo traveller especially girls who want something safe and enjoyable with the location being easily accessible to landmarks via metro or bus. I will be staying here again!

Hermoso hotel para quedarse a buen precio en Paris, muy bien ubicado (a una cuadra del metro). La verdad era muy cómodo tener privacidad en las camas con las cortinas y los baños eran muy espaciosos. Muy recomendable!

I really liked my stay here of 3 nights, 4 days. I was in a 6 mixed dorm and no problems with that. 2 showers and a nice washing area inside. The toiket was just outaide the door in the hall. Staff was very friendly. not a social hostel so just communicate with ppl on Hostelworld app. No kitchen but they will store items for you.

Mi experiencia fue fantástica, la mayoría de los recepcionistas hablaban español, no es un dato menor en Paris, la cama súper cómoda, la habitación muy espaciosa, me encantó, si vuelvo a Paris no dudaría en volver a ir. Lo único para aclarar no cuenta con cocina y a mí particularmente el wifi no me funcionó. Igual fuera de eso mi experiencia fue hermosa. 🤩

J'ai réservé un lit dans une chambre dortoir, c'était une première. Le lit est confortable et très propre, tout comme la chambre. Le personnel est chaleureux. Petit dej express très sympa. Le plus dur, c'est supporter les colocataires ! J'y retournerai au besoin.
