Hostel 23

It is very noisy because of constant dog barking around the hostel. And people are always gathering so it is impossible to get good sleep, and it is extremely filthy

Entiendo que se trata de un hostel, pero lo que encontré fue mucho más básico de lo que parecía y lo que las reseñas anunciaban. El personal no pudo responder a la mayoría de mis preguntas al llegar al hostel. Algunos servicios, como el de lavandería, no estaban disponibles. Los lugares comunes no eran cómodos (la terraza donde se me aconsejó trabajar con la computadora no puede considerarse un lugar común cómodo, ordenado o limpio), y los perros me comieron las zapatillas durant...

The location and kitchen are great, and the staff are helpful. Keep in mind that this is a party hostel, so it can be noisy at night. The room I stayed in, which was used by volunteers, was quite messy. I canceled one night of my stay and received a refund.

It's a rally social hostel that has a common area in which people sit to eat and talk a lot. They also have a sound system in which they play different music such as bachata, salsa and merengue for people to dance. The place is not as nice as the photos but it is OK.

Pro: Very well equiped kitchen and clean, organized dinners, nice common area, very social, free drinking water/coffee/tea, very friendly host, cute dog. Con: there were only 3 lockers for 5 people so that me and my friend could not lock our valuables, there is no real wall/doors so it is very loud and you can hear everything especially when considering that it is a bit of a party hostel with people going out every night and loud music playing until about midnight.

Le personnel était parfait!!! Il faudrait trouver un moyen pour que les lits du haut aient aussi accès à de l'air, c'était épouvantable... peut-être de petits ventilateurs à chaque lit? Très difficile à trouver, situé dans une ruelle entre 2 rues. Il devrait y avoir une affiche indiquant le passage à l'endroit où Google map nous amène. Le café est une belle attention et les lits étaient confos :)

Ich hatte leider das Bett oben im female dorm, das halb durch eine Wand verdeckt war und so die Luft des Ventilators überhaupt nicht zu mir kam. Die Leute im Hostel waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Schöne große Küche

Hostel 23 was a bless. Whenever you leave your country, at least for me, it’s a bit difficult but the atmosphere and the staff at hostel 23 made me feel at home. Had a blast and I 100% recommend the place

Tolles kleines Hostel. Zentral gelegen mit Supermarkt, Apotheke, lecker Essen fussläufig erreichbar. Der Strand ist etwa 15 Minuten weg, vobei mit Moto in wenigen Minuten noch mehr (meiner Meinung nach noch schönere) Strände erreichbar sind. Shout out and Gui und Melany, als Volunteers und Freunde haben sie meinen Aufenthalt dort Nahezu perfekt gemacht. Einziges kleines Manko, es gibt in den Zimmern kein AC, nur Ventilatoren

Incroyable séjour à Las Terrenas, les volontaires sont géniaux ! Les chiens sont des amours😍 et l’emplacement est top.

An absolutely wonderful hostel, super social, amazing vibes and the owners are there with their hearts and souls! Fun activities, close to the beach - I wish I could’ve stayed longer and I will for sure come back! ❤️

Un Hostel con un ambiente y personal increíble. Ideal si viajas solo. El hostel está rodeado de naturaleza, en el centro de Las Terrenas. Repetiría mi estadía sin dudarlo.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The location is good, the vibe is warm, kind and friendly, plenty of space to meet people, but also just be on your own, the kitchen is very well equipped and the place is over all quite clean. Felt home right from the beginning!

I would go to Las Terrenas just to stay here. The patio is so calming and I was able to be there for Family Dinner!! There are plenty of motos to get to the beaches and the stop for El Limon is just down the street.

Las habitaciones son un poco apretadas, pero el espacio común es muy grande y espacioso. El lugar es lindo, la ubicación es buena. La cocina es casi completa (faltaría una jarra de agua y microondas). Los baños se limpiaban una vez al día y se mantenía limpio. Conocí gente muy copada y amigable.

Best hostel I’ve been so far, I kept extending my stay. Las terrenas is so great and coming back to a lively hostel full of fun people is greatly appreciated in my opinion. The staff is really accommodating and takes great care of the common areas No negative points here, would definitely recommend without hesitating!
