Stayed here for the Full Moon Party – great atmosphere and the BBQ beforehand was a fun, chilled way to meet people. Lovely open-plan layout and nice rooms. Unfortunately, my bed had bed bugs. When I told the owner, he denied it and said it was a sun allergy, which felt rude as I was only trying to inform him and not asking for any compensation. The lady who owns the hostel (Mangu), was warm and welcoming.
+ Nice vibe, good location and very friendly staff.

+ Très bon emplacement avec la plage, plusieurs restaurants et un 7 eleven à proximité Casier dans la chambre pour ranger ses affaires
- Comme toute auberge, les autres voyageurs qui ne respectent pas le sommeil des autres et qui parlent fort à l'heure du coucher. Manque de place dans la douche ou en extérieur pour se rhabiller tranquillement
+ An sich ein wirkliches schönes Hostel, die Zimmer waren sauber. Im Bad war manchmal Abends/Nachts auf mindestens einer Toilette das Klopapier leer, was etwas nervte. Die Betten sind wirklich bequem. Die Spinde waren auch ohne eigenes Schloss nutzbar. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und gut gelegen, man hat viele Restaurants in der Nähe und es gibt auch genug Möglichkeiten sich einen Roller auszuleihen.
- Die Türen sind super schwer und sehr laut beim auf und zu machen. Dadurch wird man nachts leider öfters wach, wenn Leute rein oder raus gehen.
Staff very friendly. Not as sociable as advertised and location wasn’t the best. However facilities were good and bed was comfy.
+ I really enjoyed staying here, and actually stayed 11 days due to a planned retreat on the island. Mango and family were so friendly, they helped me with renewing my visa and also when I had an issue with a scooter away from the hostel. It was clean, plenty of space to relax, sociable if you wanted it to be but also not a party hostel so best of both worlds really. Nice lounge area upstairs and nice garden area with darts board/ table tennis. I think the best thing was Mango and her family and how they were involved with the guests, she knew people by name and showed an interest. Her son was also entertaining and played games in the garden with guests.
- My only feedback would be that it’s nice to have a larger lockers/ storage facilities, this sometimes led to the floors in the rooms getting a little crowded with people’s bags. The other suggestion is around the common areas / social aspect - it may be a good idea to have some themed nights or plan events for guests to come together and meet each other - it will help those who may be a little shy.
Good hostel , nice vibe and friendly people . Clean . Good enough location . Only negative I would say is that they had a bar but there was never anyone there to serve drinks on it .

Perfect hostel if you’re looking for a relaxed, social vibe without it being centered around partying. It’s easy to meet people and most guests seemed to be 20+ (shared interests). Super clean: one of the cleanest hostels I’ve stayed in. The location is great: close to the beach (just walk through nearby resorts), with a grocery shop and a 7/11 nearby. Das beste Hostel in dem ich war sehr clean und die Atmosphäre ist super. Die Mitarbeiter sind super freundlich und die Lage ist auch top. Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Werde aufjedenfall wieder kommen.

Loved my stay Bunkhouse! Such a nice and social place. The owner organized a BBQ on Songkran for everyone, really lovely woman. Comfy beds, clean rooms and bathrooms. Close to the beach, 7/11, cafe and restaurants, but would advise to rent a scooter in order to get around the island.
Absolutely loved my stay here. Nice chill vibe and had an amazing time during Songkran. If your looking for a hostel with a chill vibe this is the one. And also Mango is the best host!!
Loooovedd my stay here. The owners are so lovely. They put on a massive barbecue for all the guests one night. Rooms are well air conditioned, clean, comfortable and safe. Social but not too crazy. I would 100% recommend this place. Thank you for having me!!

Wundervolles Hostel in guter Lage. Vor allem das Personal war unfassbar nett und hilfsbereit (waren während songkran dort und die Besitzerin hat den gesamten Tag für uns alle geplant inklusive shuttle und bbq). Was auch noch zu erwähnen ist, ist die Sauberkeit, war noch nie in meinem Leben in einem so sauberen Hostel.

Amazing stay. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, and you can really tell how much she cares about making everything perfect and ensuring everyone feels comfortable. The atmosphere is great, very welcoming and social but still relaxed. The location is also excellent. Highly recommend!
Absolutely brilliant hostel with a good social (not party but social) vibe. Easy to make friends before some of the islands big nights. The staff are also beyond praiseworthy, orgainising adventures, cooking BBQ and helping track down my phone lost in a taxi. Good facilities are kept clean. The beds are a little small (concern ifyou're 6'+ and sleep completely straight) but honestly not a big concern. Beds were also very comfy. I could not reccomend more highly and will be back!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit! Die Besitzerin Mango ist an Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft nicht zu übertreffen und die Architektur, Sauberkeit und Einrichtung des Hostels lassen einen rundum wohlfühlen (es gibt z.B. eine tolle Sofaecke mit Beamer). Wir haben dort viele tolle Leute kennengelernt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Danke ♥️
