Tropical Hostel

Pictures look better than it was. Bathrooms weren’t very clean. Sink was on the balcony and soap was full of dead bugs. Pool was a lot smaller than photos and no seating around. Saw a huge centipede and cockroaches crawling behind the lockers. No locks on doors. Would recommended going elsewhere. Accidentally left something there and didn’t get it back :( Booked 2 nights and was going to extend for 5 and only stayed one night and moved to a different hostel down the road.

You don’t find it under Tropical Hostel on Google, they don’t give you a key so the room is always open. The shower has no pressure at all and if one person moves in the room everyone can feel it. The room itself is nice and clean but I would recommend to stay somewhere else

Overall fine hostel but it was very dirty in the bathrooms. It’s also very inconvenient and unsanitary that there are no sinks in the dorms / toilet (sinks are located outside the dorms). However the beds were comfortable and fitted with a curtain. We also got water on arrival which was good.

Had a great stay! If you wanna avoid crowds, come here and chill. Great Ambiente! Room was a bit stinky and bathrooms could be cleaned more often.

This hostel was a lot more basic than others we’d stayed in, but the staff were so lovely and the pool area was gorgeous, it’s so jungley and lovely break of shade where Phi Phi doesn’t often have. There’s a swim up bar which is very cool, not too boujee just a vibe. They split me and my friends up into two rooms, which I didn’t love as a three, but the guys in my room were lovely to be fair. I didn’t love the shower as it was quite dark, but the sink and mirrors are on a balcony whi...

Ame el hostal! Nos recibieron con café, leche galletas ,agua y así nos despidieron también ! Los cuartos amplios, lindos, la piscina genial! No duden en hospedarse acá. Volvería sin dudarlo

J’ai adoré car j’ai déjà fais d’autres auberges à phiphi et faut dire qu’elles étaient à chier. Cette auberge vaut clairement son prix, si je dois donner du négatif c’est que le jet d’eau dans la douche est pas super puissant mais c’est la vie sur les îles ! Et qu’il n’y a pas de clé pour les chambres donc c’est open bar mais si vous mettez dans vos casier vous risquez rien. Le staff est superbe, la piscine est dans un cadre très sympathique. Un bon hostel ou dormir, idéalement localisé à 5 10min des rues principales et suffisamment éloigné du centre ou la fête bat son plein. La piscine est vraiment le cœur de cet hotel et ce sera votre principal lieu de rencontre ici. Ma chambre avait un problème d’eau chaude et de pression et ça semble dépendre des jours. Dommage pour ce dernier point.

Wir haben unser Aufenthalt vor Ort verlängert. Das Personal war super lieb & herzlich. Ich hatte eine Lebensmittelvergiftung und durfte ohne Probleme auch noch nach check-out im Zimmer bleiben bis mein einzel Zimmer ready war. Danke viel Mals für eure Bemühungen, unkompliziert Art und eure Herzlichkeit.

Really awesome place to stay away from the loudness but not too far to walk to main strip. Sort of in the jungle and the atmosphere is 10/10 dorms were not bad either!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, weak water pressure from shower, a little out of the main tourist zone.

Das Hostel war sehr schön. Die Zimmer und der Außenbereich haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben schnell Anschluss gefunden, da man auf der Terrasse schnell neue Leute kennenlernt. Das einzige was etwas zu bemängeln war ist die Lage. Ich hatte einen verletzten Fuß und dann war es sehr anstrengend zum Hostel zu kommen, da man einen Berg hoch muss. Das war aber einfach eine blöde Situation, sonst ist es trotzdem gut zu erreichen und nicht weit weg von allem anderen. Ich kann es sehr empfehle...

One toilet and one shower for a form of 12 people was the only down side to the hostel really. Lovely staff, comfy bed, social, great facilities, quiet and clean!!

Loved this hostel! To keep in mind to location is a bit far so it’s perfect if you want to be far from the party area. Perfect if you want some calm but there’s a big chill area so kind of easy to make friends

J’ai adoré mon séjour de 5 nuits à l’hostel. Cet endroit de Tonsai est au calme. Je m’y suis sentie bien, le personnel à l’accueil est super gentil :) les lieux communs très agréables, notamment le bar avec la piscine et le personnel qui ont envie de discuter avec les étrangers. Le dortoir était très bien, très propre, avec un balcon. J’étais presque triste de partir. Merci.

Was quite nervous about staying in a hostel with very little reviews. However we hit jackpot. Decent sized 6 bed dorm, large beds with curtains and lockers. Decent shower and toilet. Little balcony to chill on can’t fault it really. Pool was a good depth and size. It was overall quite chill and a great location.

Amazing time at Tropical. Staff were lovely and the room, location and facilities were great. Best hostel we stayed at in Phi Phi.
