Forest Sunset Hostel

One of the best hostel I've ever been! Perfect.

The perfect hostel, great size beds, good air con, nice staff, beautiful setting, good price. I can’t fault it! It is a little drive into Tam Coc but the grab drive is so beautiful it was a very enjoyable journey.

my favourite accomodation in vietnam so far! incredible views, so peaceful, the cutest dogs & cat greet you upon arrival. Coffee, food menu, and complimentary breakfast were all lovely. So many spots to sit and relax or get some work done, and a dip in the pool after a day of activities was perfect. Dorms were spacious, cool and so comfy, would rebook in a heartbeat.

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It felt like I was at a home away from home. The views are spectacular. So peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect balance of being far enough outside the city but close to the tourist attractions. I really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Free breakfast and coffee as well. You can rent a scooter or bicycle at the hostel which is a bonus! I will definitely be coming back somed...

Very nice place, good for meeting people and with very nice staff. Comfortable bedrooms and very good cleaning. There are no social events, but the common area in nature is beautiful. Perfect place for chilling out of the chaos and meeting other backpackers.

Best hostel in Vietnam 🇻🇳 Amazing breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, and the atmosphere and view are a huge plus Close to Trang An, with a few really good restaurants around the hostel I 100% recommend it!

Eines der besten Hotels wo ich je war! Toller Außenbereich, gutes Frühstück und ganz nette Besitzer. Sehr chilliges Hostel, perfekt um mal etwas runterzukommen.

Amazing ! My favorite place in Ninh Binh. It’s my third time coming here and certainly not my last. The staff is the most adorable person I’ve met in Vietnam since I’ve moved here. The location is just magical. The food is great, the place is clean (common area and bathroom are well kept and maintained) and the room are spacious with large beddings. Prefect quiet place to come rest and enjoy

One of the best places I've stayed at. Perfect for those wanting something more remote but still accessible to the touristic areas. The sunsets here are beautiful and it is a great place to enjoy nature. Would highly recommend it!

Loveeeeed this place! Beautiful surroundings, nice food, friendly people. It is a drive from Tam Coc, but for me that was totally worth it.

Perfect place to stay if you want a little retreat / getaway from the world. Not super social because I think lots of people come here for that reason. Staff are so lovely!!! My room was a bit smelly. Showers & toilets are semi-outdoors but that’s not an issue. With the showers it’s quite nice! Highly recommend. Gorgeous setting. There is a little mini mart (shop) nearby and some restaurants if you want to change it up.

One of my favourite hostels I have stayed it in 2 months of travelling. Have to cycle/get a grab into Tam Coc which is about 20-30 minutes away but the location and scenery at the hostel makes up for this. Beds are large and super comfortable with great curtains, shelving etc. Bathrooms are always clean and new towels provided daily. Staff are so lovely and the restaurant is a great easy option for food too. Definitely recommend this hostel!

A great hostel that I highly recommend. The area is beautiful and the rooms and beds were nice, big and comfortable. There were plenty of showers and toilets. The family that runs the hostel is super nice. The breakfast is good and so is the food from the restaurant. You can rent scooters and bicycles. The only thing that’s a bit of a challenge is getting into the city without your own vehicle. Grab is expensive by car and unfortunately, scooters aren’t available in the evenings.

As long as you don't mind being a motorbike or long bicycle ride away from town this is the perfect place to stay. The views and atmosphere are incredible, food is delicious, super easy to meet people (laid back social vibe), and run by the best family. They were so incredibly kind and really made sure everyone had everything they needed.

Das Hostel ist sehr cool, ein gechillter und liebevoller Ort der zum Rest der Natur in Ninh Binh passt. Vorsicht, es ist weit weg vom Trunel in Tom Coc, man solle es einfach wissen. Das Hostel ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Staff ist nett, spricht aber 0 english.. grad wenn man mit dem Nachtbus kam und vor Check-In Zelt da ist, ist es echt mühsam und alle sind überfordert… Empfehlung auf jeden Fall wenn man kein Partyhostel sucht ;)

Truly amazing hostel, I was sad to leave. Very peaceful and laid back vibe but still social within. The dorms and bathrooms are also really nice, clean, and spacious. Be aware that this is in Trang A which is close to the boat ride but relatively far from tam coc where other tourist sites are. If you prefer to be away from the noise and tourist traps and don’t mind a drive or bike definitely stay here!

A tranquil location with an excellent view. The pool is a nice place to relax after day tour.

Best hostel we've stayed in. Rooms had everything you could need, free breakfast was excellent and the views fom the hostel were lovely. Only downside was that it was a 40 minute cycle into town.
