Es pésimo el aseo del hostal, está ubicado muy lejos pésimo la de acceso, mejor ubicar un hotel en el pueblo como el Hotel casa grande ese se los recomendamos

Onze ontvangst was heel kil. We waren wat vroeg, maar we voelden ons totaal niet welkom. Ook de locatie viel ons erg tegen. Er zijn heel veel plekken in het buitengebied met een (veel) mooier uitzicht. Onze eerste nacht werd ik ziek, waardoor ik graag terug wilde naar het dorp. Ook hier kon de host ons niet mee helpen. Ik moest zelf maar contact opnemen met de eigenaresse. Gelukkig was zij heel aardig en begripvol, dat dan weer wel!

ist ein bisschen weiter weg von Jardin dafürnist die Landschaft sehr schön. Für Menschen die eine familiäre Unterkunft suchen und dazu noch Ruhe von der grossen Stadt, ist dies der perfekte Ort

We had a lovely stay here thanks to the hosts. The friendly family atmosphere of Tangara was a pleasure. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The location is peaceful and with amazing views however it is out of town so be aware,however the tuktuks are plentiful and cheap (fixed at around 15k pesos currently).

La Tángara was a really beautiful little spot in the mountains with great views. If you're looking for a quiet and private getaway this is the right place. When we visited we were the only guests there. Really friendly staff and great service.

Lovely place. The location is a 25 minute walk from Jardin main town but we much preferred that, the views are great! The owner is excellent and goes out of her way to sort things for you. Best scrambled eggs in South America too!

Hostel très agréable et reposant à 20 minutes du centre! Le jardin est sublime hyper agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner entouré de toute cette nature! Nathalia est très gentille elle fera tout pour que vous passiez le meilleur séjour.

Es el lugar ideal para un fin de semana, lo recomiendo para personas que les gusta el ambiente de campo, la caminata, los animales, y lugares que son sencillos pero muy agradables. Es un lugar con ambiente familiar, el personal muy amable, muy buen desayuno y una muy buena vista.

A group of us came here after spending a couple days in the town. We're really glad we did as it was a stunning location, and the host was great.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The location is stunning, featuring a beautiful garden and incredible views. I spent hours just relaxing in the hammock, birdwatching—seeing the hummingbirds was a real highlight. The family running the place are wonderful hosts, and their dogs are so friendly! Also, the river and waterfall just a few minutes away are absolutely magical. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at La Tangara. The hosts were lovely and there were lots of amazing birds in the garden. The pets, especially Amber the dog, stole the show too. thanks again!

It was an amazing experience to stay at la tangeraria! The location was amazing to relax and explore gardin. We could spot amazing birds just in the garden and our host was super helpfull and the breakfast was also amazing! Would very much recommend!

Ein wunderschönes Hostel etwas abseits des Dorfes, 30 min zu Fuß, mit familiärer Atmosphäre und riesigem Garten mit Zugang zum Fluss. Ich habe in einem Mehrbettzimmer geschlafen und war sehr zufrieden, das Zimmer hatte ein eigenes Bad und alles war sehr sauber. Ich persönlich hätte mir mehr Platz oder Stauraum für das Gepäck gewünscht. Es waren leider keine Schränke vorhanden. Absolutely loved my stay at La Tángara. The property is stunningly beautiful and the perfect place to hang out in and take it easy. Natalia is a wonderful host and really makes an effort to make your stay and experience as pleasant as possible!

Nathalia goes above and beyond to make you feel truly welcome—you quickly feel like part of her family. The location itself is incredible: you're completely immersed in stunning Andean nature, yet it's still conveniently close to the charming town centre of Jardín. If you're into birdwatching like I am, this place is an absolute must-visit. I picked up many lifers during my stay, on this property. On a logé dans La Cabaña, le petit chalet au fond du jardin, durant 5 nuits. L'emplacement est génial parce qu'à seulement 25min de marche (plutôt 30 en montant et sans bagages) ce qui permet de profiter de la ville en journée et du campo colombiano dès 6h du matin et en fin de journée. C'est bourré de splendides oiseaux et de leurs chants. Tous les clients peuvent utiliser la cuisine et le frigo. Il y a un coin feu dans le jardin. We stayer at La Tángara for 3 days, it has such a nice vibe. It is really laid back and quiet except for the sounds of the forest. Binoculars are laying around everywhere to watch the birds in the garden. It is a walk from the town but we actually liked that, the walk is beautiful and a tuktuk at night is cheap. The hostess went out of her way to help us with planning trips and arranging transport. Highly recommended!

This place really is amazing :) the location is beautiful and the family that runs this place is really nice. I highly recommend this place if your looking for a calm and beautiful place to stay.

We loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. The relaxed atmosphere, stunning location, and constant birdlife were highlights. Nathalia was always helpful. The uphill walk from town made tuk-tuks preferable. The cabin was cute, albeit smaller than expected. Great nearby walks, friendly pets, a well-equipped kitchen, eco-focused, and lovely communal breakfasts made it special. A peaceful, scenic paradise we'd love to return to!

We had an incredible time staying at La Tangara. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, the cabin was incredible and the gardens are beautiful. It’s in an amazing location in Jardin, a bit quieter (c.30 minute walk into town), with incredible bird watching and a small river nearby where you can swim. The hosts were so accommodating, helping us organise a tour and giving us local recommendations. We couldn’t recommend staying here more.

Amazing property. Run by a really great couple. One of the best locations that I’ve ever stayed at. Very safe. Very clean. Great attention to detail. Fast communication. Bring some snacks with you because the closest store is a tuk tuk ride away or a decent walk. Super cool river just a few minutes walk. The best bird watching that I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been to quite a few places. There are so many birds at this property that it really exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend.

Es todo lo que buscamos para estar tranquilos, en la naturaleza y con las mascotas.

Natalia et son équipe sont des gens formidables, serviables, adaptables, avec un grand cœur. Natalia qui parle espagnol anglais et un peu français nous a bien conseillé sur les activités au alentours c'était super. Le cadre est magnifique et on se fait réveiller par les oiseaux tellement il y en a dans le jardin.

Luz María y Jaime, los anfitriones, son unos amores y te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. La voluntaria también era súper buena onda. La Tángara es el lugar perfecto para desconectar, estar tranquilo y descansar mientras explorando el paisaje lindo de Jardín. Hay muchas cascadas cerca, aves de todo tipo, y el lugar cuenta con un río con donde se puede bañar. El agua en las duchas siempre estaba caliente, los espacios súper limpios, y el desayuno y café incluidos estuvi...

I had an incredible time here. I was planning on staying 2-3 nights but ended up staying a whole week. The best hosts I have ever had. They are both extremely friendly and generous. Not to mention the beautiful property which is surrounded by nature and even has its own trail to a nearby river. If you want the most out of your stay, I recommend the cabaña if possible! Plus the breakfast and coffee is excellent. If you want a place to relax in Jardín, you must stay here.
